Robyn's 'Who's That Girl' gets a release date, set to play SXSW

No, this is not a Madonna cover. Sweden's Robyn is an up-and-comer who will see her Knife-produced angular jam "Who's That Girl" released this spring, according to Pitchfork. The song is taken from her 2005 self-titled album and will be launched into clubs and hearts in the UK next month. Bonus tracks include remixes of the title track by Seamus Haji, Rex the Dog, and Drop the Lime.

If you can't wait then go check out the album version of "Who's That Girl" as a digital download in the UK, the CD and vinyl versions are due April 21. You might be thinking to yourself why an artist as talented as Robyn doesn't have a deal in the U.S., well now she does. Robyn will be released on Konichiwa/CherryTree/Interscope sometime in April.

Robyn played sold-out dates in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles last month. She's heading back to the U.S. next week for a few select shows, barbeque, and even playing for some guy named Perez Hilton:

3/13 Austin, TX - Cedar Street Courtyard - Filter SXSW party
3/14 Austin, TX - Pangaea - Billboard SXSW showcase
3/15 Austin, TX - Perez Hilton SXSW party

And by up and comer, you mean late 90s one hit wonder making a very very different comeback?

Nope. I mean she's a "up and comer" to people in the United Sates that don't know about her, but have possibly read about her in the press during the last year.
