featured Hoto - Yummus Maximus
This particular prefecture (Japanese state) where the Fuji lakes are located is famous for a particular style of noodle. (And you know how I like my noodles...) It's like a really fat and flat udon noodle that is simply glorious. This restaurant sort of specialized in that style. The dish was served in a black iron kettle and it was called Hoto.
