To Me, his right and wrong. Most musicans how live by that saying can go overboard but then theres the musicans that can drink and do that type of stuff an not put they life in danger.

I think that Gerard is right! There is no fucking point in using drugs and alchohol,and being promiscuous(*i probably didnt spell that right) bitches. People should try to live their lifes without those craps! I totally agree with you Gerard!

I tend to agree with him, not b/c its Gerard, but b/c its true. Why do you think all those great rock n roll artists died before their time, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and their careers destroyed b/c of the drinking, drugs etc..Let alone your personal life.He is living proof that you can do it drug free and live a happy life and an inspiration to others at the same time. IMO

i think gerards right, after all he did go through the stage of drugs n alcahol so he knows what hes on about =].
i feel deeply sorry for people who go overboard like that n i dont think that taking drugs is right.

I agree with Gerard, we have lost too many respectable and talented artists before their time because of their "interests and indulgence" in these sorts of things. I for example, am 23 years old and a day of life have never tasted alcohol and never known any type of drug other than Advil and or Tylenol. I do these because of respect for myself and my respect and love for others. There are PLENTY of ways to have fun without having to slowly killing your body and ultimately self. Now, am I gonna go bashing on who does decide to do these things free will? No, unless I feel as if you are going overboard and are causing harm to yourself and those around you. So it is to each his own, but much respect to Gerard, because HE UNDERSTANDS THAT HE IS ON A PEDASTAL, AND HAS HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF KIDS THAT LOOK UP TO HIM AS A ROLE MODEL and he took on that responsibility. So he chooses not to do, to advise the younger generation to make wiser choices. Because look at it thouroughly, what is the point of doing it? You lose money, you get sick, you push away those you love, and could end up killing, either yourself, or an innocent being, because you were "influenced" So more power for the greater good, and nothing but love and respect to Gerard Way, a wise being.
