Old Man Rock or the New Young Brats - Who Will Win the Battle of Everlasting Fame?
Posted 2 yrs 2 mos ago by kassady
We all have a band that we credit with igniting our passion in music. It may be the Beatles the Rolling Stones or more recent bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers or Nirvana. Question is...... can bands of the moment stand up and survive as Icons of rock? In 10 years time will the youth of the future be naming Fall Out Boy, Paramore and 30 Seconds to Mars as thier ultimate musical discovery? Have My Chemical Romance got what it takes to ride the wave of instant popularity and become an inspiration for rock bands in years to come? Or not? Im relying on you to tell me what you think:

this poll has already been ruined by too many teeny votes.
AGREED!!! I'm sure when New Kids first came out and when Nsync came out the teenies did think they would ever go away, and that they were the best thing ever. Only time will tell about FOB or MCR or any of the newer bands out there. I'm not against them by any means, I just think it is way to early to give them legend status.
The Beatles, Nirvana, Queen, the Stones, RHCP, and classic glam rock/hair metal (Guns N' Roses, Motley Crue, etc) will live on forever. (:
FOB and MCR are probably only gonna live on until the musicians are old, fat, and ugly, and then nobody's gonna like them anymore. That's what they get when half their fans only like them because they're hot...
Pete is my wife!! i swear my penis is bigger then his.
Suck this bitch Ashley Simpson you ugly whore.
"Old stuff"? It depends on what old stuff you're talking about.
"Emo tells people to kill themselves" URGHHH!!!! If I have to hear someone say that one more time, heads will roll!!!!
