Now there's a band that stood the test of time -- Funkadelic -- even though in their prime their records went woefully overlooked and didn't sell at all. Maybe there are some bands around today who no one is listening to, but who will have a lasting influence on the bands to come. Is that another poll? AGREED!!! I'm sure when New Kids first came out and when Nsync came out the teenies did think they would ever go away, and that they were the best thing ever. Only time will tell about FOB or MCR or any of the newer bands out there. I'm not against them by any means, I just think it is way to early to give them legend status.
