A Cal Tech grad student recently conducted an intriguing study correlating music preferences with SAT scores. (Yeah, that's so scientific). Whatever you think of SAT's as a measure of true intellectual power, the Cal Tech student's results show that the “smartest” students’ favorite musician is Beethoven, with an average SAT score of 1371, and at the other end of the spectrum is Lil’ Wayne, with an average score of 889. You can only imagine the discussion underway among the true geniuses at Absolute Punk.

Gardening, Not Architecture is a musical collaboration between singer/songwriter Sarah Saturday and producer Beau Sorenson that started in 2004 with a few songs they recorded in an upstairs hallway at Beau's apartment in Madison, Wisconsin. Almost exactly three years later, in March of 2007, the duo rejoined forces to record their first 'official' release: a four-song ep entitled "The First EP."
