Emmett the Rabbit!
Every year at my school, we put on a Children's Show for the Elementary School kids. It is usually written by one of the senior thespians, and this year, our play was called "The Castle in the Sky."
The plot you ask...? Well, one day, four kids are sitting around outside, bored out of their minds, when Jimmy - one of the little kids - says "Hey! Let's use our imagination!" and then ZING! Emmett the Rabbit appears! Emmett was an imaginary character that Jimmy had created years ago. And then after I come out, more and more strange creatures appear, and a whole story begins to develop where the rest of the kids, me, Pepe the Mime, and Levi the Elvis Impersonator, are on a search to rescue Princess Twyla of Decatur Kingdom.... confused...? I don't blame you. It barely made any sense to us either.
The senior who wrote it was a little messed up in the head. In this play there was a tranny, an unemployed wizard, a chronically depressed mime, and even a bird with a defected wing. We got a lot of complaints from teachers, but hey, the kids loved it. :D
(Oh yes, and by the way, I did not do my own makeup. Credit goes to Michael Freaking Price for such awesome work.)
