Madina - The Mosque of the Prophet - Almasjid alnabawi
The Mosque of the Prophet ( Arabic: المسجد النبوی ) , in Medina, is the second holiest mosque in Islam. It is the final resting place of Muhammad. Al-Masjid al-Haram in Mecca is the holiest mosque; the Al-Aqsa mosque compound (which includes Al-Aqsa congregation mosque and the Dome of the Rock, in Jerusalem) is the third holiest in Islam.
The original mosque was built by Muhammad. Subsequent Islamic rulers greatly expanded and decorated it. The most important feature of the site is the green dome over the center of the mosque, where the tomb of Muhammad is located. Constructed in 1817 and painted green in 1839, it is known as the Dome of the Prophet.[1] Early Muslim leaders Abu Bakr and Umar ibn al-Khattab are buried in an adjacent area in the mosque.
The edifice was originally Muhammad's house; he settled there after his Hijrah (emigration) to Medina, later building a mosque on the grounds. He himself shared in the heavy work of construction. The original mosque was an open-air building. The basic plan of the building has been adopted in the building of other mosques throughout the world.

Still at that me and my brother always put the name of Almigthy Allah first in everything we want to do..We parked out of the area were we grew up with our Muslim brother's and sister's and parked to the eastern part of Nigerian where we have christians all over the community.....As Almigthy Allah would have it,we started influencing these christian brother's and sister's in islamic religion...PRAIS BE TO ALLAH....We were able to convince about 387 christian brother's in following the way of Almighty ALLAH....
The major point of it all is that,we are ready to be MUSLIMS,and we have reached to an agreement the necessarry things we need in turning our community into the islamic community,my main GOAL is to Have a Big Central Mosque in our Community...
Our Names are,paul and simon which by the special grace of Allah,we will soon have a muslim name..We now urge our Rich Muslim Brother's in Dubai,Saudi Arabia,Kuwiat and other Rich Muslim countries to help in assisting us Finacially,so we can build up a central mosque in our Eastern community,and the souls for Allah.....We promise to be sending a step by step pictures as our new central mosque goes on....
The Almighty Allah will continue to reward the hands that will surport us, in lifting the Name of Almighty Allah all over the Eastern region of our Country..
