I woke up early and noticed that everyone was still sleeping. I quietly got up and went out of the bunk place. I decided to buy some tylonel because i knew that they would wake up with a hangover.
I put on Jons flip flops and quickly got out of the bus. I only had about 20 minutes to run to publix and buy a pack of tylonel until the bus drivers come and leaves. I ran as quick as possible until i made it. Luckly i had a good balance with the belly. I would of busted my ass.
I saw how much time i had left and decided to walk back. I didnt want to fall bad and hurt my.. Wait scratch that! OUR child.
I made it to the bus and as soon as i sat on the couch, The bus driver came.
I had no clue where we were going, so i decided to ask her.
Hello, I told her.
Hi, She said concertraining on the rode.
May i ask you a question? I asked.
You already did, She said bitterly.
Where are we going? I asked pissed.
Washington, She said simply.
I huffed and then puffed and sat on the couch. The guys were still sleeping, so i decided to get breakfast.
I went into the fridge and took out some cereal.
When i sat down to eat it, My phone went off.
It was a text message.
Babe!!! Please come in here =(
I laughed and decided to take him the tylonel with some water.
I opened the curtain and there he was pouting.
Come on drink some of this, I said kissing his forehead.
Thank you so much! He said.
I laughed and layed next to him.
He turned to me.
I am so sorry Denise, He told me.
Its okay, I promise, I told him.
He smiled.
So what were you doing? He asked.
I was eating some cereal, I told him.
He laughed and attacked me with a kiss.
I kissed back and we hit it on to a full blown make out session.
How about your breakfast? He asked, letting go.
I could wait, i said reconnecting out lips.
Then my stomache started growling.
We disconnected again but this time, Ryan Laughed.
I dont think he can wait, he said smirking.
Your right! I told him, giving him a quick kiss and going to the table to eat. While we were at the table, Ryan started laughing. He was being pretty gitty today.
Why are you such in a good mood? I asked.
Cause i finally get to be with you and with...Nemo, He said laughing more.
I rolled my eyes. Man i really love Ryan.
2 WEEKS LATER.
COME ON HONEY! COME ON!!!! WEE GET TO SEE THE SEX OF NEMO1!!!!!! Ryan shook me, trying to get me to wake up.
No, I think i like it as Nemo! I said putting the pillow on top of my head.
No come on!!! He said pushing me off.
Fine!! I screamed and put on some sandels. I didnt really care, how i looked anymore.
Fix your hair or something! Ryan told me.
You do it, I said sleepy.
You see! I told you to not watch the secret life of the american teenager all night with Brendon! Ryan said nagging me.
Whatever! I said sleepy.
There! Now a lil eyeliner, he said putting some one me.
There, Now you look perfect! He told me.
hikhrjek, I answered back.
He rolled his eyes and carried me to the car.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Honey wake up, Your next! He told me.
khejhfjej, I answered.
I rubbed my eyes. Somehow the eyeliner didnt smudge.
Ryan helpped me up and took me into the room.
Ahh Mrs.Ross, Come on and lay here, The peditrician told me.
My pleasure, i said simply and laid down.
She lifted up my shirt and started to put some cold jelly on my belly.
The next morning, I woke up and got dressed.I looked around for Fate but i couldnt find her anywhere. FATE!!! I whispered through the bunks. I still couldnt find her anywhere. I looked inside the bunks and there she was sleeping on Brendon.I took out my camera phone, took a picture of them and sent it straight into my facebook.
She will soon get hate mail and that will teach her a lesson!
I grabbed her by the hair and dragged her all the way to the cab.
Where are we going? She asked sleepy.
Clinic.
fhdKAFHSKF, She mummbled.
Umm Okay? I asked but she just fell asleep on my shoulder.
When we arrived, I grabbed her by the hair and pulled her to a seat in the clinic.I signed my name and waited until the called my name.
So you and Brendon? I asked.
Nothing! She said to fast and extremely awake.
Yah sure, what were you doing with him?
Chillin, She said normally
Like a Villin? I asked.
Yah.
I KNEW IT!!! I screamed.
SHUSH! Said a patient.
Its not what you think it is! She tried to defend.
Sure sure, I smirked.
DENISE, Called the doctor.
I went inside, and layed on a couch.There they applied a goo on my stomache and started a ultra sound.
There it is! She said.
AWWWWWW, Fate cooed.
While i waited for the pictures to print, The doctor was telling me what to stay away from and in 4 months; We could know the sexuallity of the baby.
When we recieved the photo, Fate and I grabbed a cab and went back to the buses.
Everyone was up panicking, getting ready for the court.I went through my things and threw Fate a outfit.I put on a black skirt and a vest.
We all piled into Brendons rented car.Fate drove shot gun and was all flirty flirty with Brendon while me and Spencer were in the back just scared to death.
Do you think there going to let him free? I asked.
Umm yeah, Spencer said wanting to believe that.
We arrived at court.
There i saw Ryan all dirty and with his orange jump suit.He had a stub but somehow he looked attracted.
I ran to him and kissed his cheek.
Babe you okay? I asked.
Yeah now that your here, He said trying to be romantic.
I giggled and took out the ultrasound.
Heres your kid, i said smiling.
He looked at it and his smile went so wide, i thought his face was going to break.
Do you know the gender? He asked
Not yet until im 4 month preg.
He smiled and pulled me into a kiss.
Then the security guard grabbed me to put me in the stands.I punched him off me and connected to Ryan again.He laughed but pushed me slightly away.
I think you should go sit, he laughed.
Yeah i think so to.
I went to the seats and i watched as lawyers and judges argued over and over.
SHE IS UNDERAGED AND HE LIED TO THE FBI! Said the bad side.
HER STEP DAD ABUSED HER! Said the good side.
They took a break and now it was time for the jury to decide.
I preyed and hope and then preyed again for good luck and then the jury came out.
OUR DECISION IS.......GUILTY!
My eyes went wide and i started tearing up.
NO! I cried and ran to Ryan.
I attached myself to him.
YOU WONT TAKE HIM! I scream.
Mam we have to take him.
Can i have a moment with her? Ryan asked.
They let him go.
He looked at me.
I'm going to be away for 3 months.Its not that much and anyway, the tour is for 4 months.I will see you again and we will get to call eachother.Please take care of yourself and our child and keep playing my part in the band.
I nodded my head.
Current mood: hopeful
So How many of you want Ronnie out ASAP!!????? Well we think we figured how you can help... When Ronnies parole hearing comes up, we want to be able to show them all the love and support that ronnie has.. How many fans, family, and friends that want and need Ronnie to come home.. Not only that but he does NOT deserve to be in there.. and the sooner he comes home the sooner we can start recording!!!!!
So help us out and lets work together !!!!
Here's what we need.. We need you to write a letter to the Parole Board.. so title it "Dear Parole Board" - Regarding Ronald J. Radke 1023230 .. and then write your hearts out.. Please don't be vulger or rude.. no cursing, or anything of that nature, just the kind of stuff you write us on here.. From the heart and meaningful.. Show these people how Ronnie has affected so many lives and why we all need him out to come back to his people and to sing again..
You will be sending the letter to my girlfriend and we willl be taking that to the parole our selves to show them (and ronnie, cause he will be there) all the love and support..
I'm sitting in my pjs and watching MSNBC. It's either news or shows about prison. And right now, it's about prison. Scary stuff, kids. I don't understand how so many people can resort to this kind of criminal behavior. I know they probably have fucked up pasts, blah blah but everyone has issues. There's therapy for that. There's other ways to deal with problems than acting out like this. And then there's the people that are straight up crazy. I wish the world was a better place. It makes me scared to ever have kids and have to raise them in this mess. If I never have kids, I'll be ok with that. Maybe in 10 years, I'll feel differently. Who knows.
I got really excited the other day when I recieved my usually ho-hum update on Eric's situation when the tittle read "Eric's Conviction overturned by Appeals Court" But then it was followed by ..but not yet free. Eric is a good friend of mine, I met him while living in Tahoe 6 or 7 years ago. If you don't know about his situation already please read up. http://www.friendsofericvolz.com/ There is also a video on my profile. This morning I got the email below and it really concerned me. I feel like he is so close yet in danger of being victim to gave circumstances. Even though I was a little nervous to do so, I called our state senator Barbara Boxer. I reached one of her assistants and she had said they had received a few calls on the subject. I don't exactly know what our state senator can do but I figure every little bit helps. If you feel so inclined please make a call.
Thanks
Take action today, before it's too late!
We are asking everyone to contact (a phone call would be more immediate, but follow up with an email if you can!) their elected representatives in the *next few hours*, to ask them to pressure the Nicaraguan government to carry out Eric's legal release from prison. The reason this is so urgent is that Nicaraguan government offices leave tomorrow for the lengthy holidays... we need the US government to act IMMEDIATELY to compel the Nicaraguan government to honor their own law and release Eric Volz!
*Details are changing almost hourly, but here's what we know as of 10:30am Central, December 20th: * Judge Ivette Toruno, who initially convicted Eric for Doris' murder, is required to sign his release papers, but she has created various excuses to avoid doing so.
In the meantime, the original prosecutor of Eric's case (Isolda Ibarra) is attempting to overturn the Appellate Court ruling, and is filing an appeal to the Nicaraguan Supreme Court. She is asking that Eric be held in custody (illegally) until the Supreme Court rules. Typically, Supreme Court cases take years to process.
Nicaraguan law says that the order of the Appellate Court to free Eric should not be overridden by the filing of a Supreme Court appeal, but that Nicaraguan law is being ignored.
If Eric is held, he will certainly be moved back to the penitentiary, and may not be afforded even the minimal protection he had previously - he will be in the gravest of danger. Eric has kidney stones, and is still recovering from intestinal issues and severe asthma, which is why he has been in the prison hospital for more than 2 months now.
This morning, Penitentiary Director Molina dispatched a truck to take Eric back to the prison. This forced his visit with his mother Maggie to be cut short, due to security concerns.
And it's true. Today, at school, we had this guest speaker come. Her name is Celia Ashley and she's from New Zealand. She got married at 19 and divorced at 26 as a single mother of 2. She married at 19 despite what all her family and friends told her. It was her decision. She was, I think, the first female prison guard working in a male prison. I learnt alot of stuff.
Here's what I learnt:
90-95% of people in jail were either drunk or high when they did what they did to get themselves in prisons.
Women prisons are much more vicious because the fights there are planned as revenge whereas fights in male prisons are just outbursts.
Strip searches can pretty much scar the soul. The officers won't touch you but they'll start at the top and you take off the clothes from the waist up first and they ask you to lift up your arms and check that way. They'll ask to move your tongue around the mouth just to make sure there's nothing there. After the top half is done. You get a T-shirt to put on that goes to your waist but not longer and you take off your clothes from the waist down. They make you move and sometimes squat down to check for drugs and stuff. It doesn't matter if you have a history of drugs or not. Officers must assume you have something on you. Strip searches happen often. Before you even enter the jail or even the gate, numerous officers will strip search you prior to entering the jail. before you enter and leave ( for work) in a jail or before family visits and such. Sometimes these can be so scarring that some people will give up visits with family just so they won't get searched. Strip searches do need to be done because there are people who still try to smuggle drugs internally if you know what I mean.
There is no drama, infact there's the opposite. Prison is really boring and really routine. The Officers will tell you when to wake-up, when to get to sleep and when to eat. It's literally just them telling you to jump and you asking how high (her words not mine).
Escaping isn't like it is on T.V. Most people who escape will only do it to get to their families but if they escape, the police will go looking for them at their families so it won't happen as much because it's been thought through. There are other times when a prisoner will escape even though they get caught but they do it anyway because there's something going on that they must fix and assume they'll fix it before they get caught. Prisoners who work will work on farms where there isn't as much security they and they will just walk off the farm and leave. She told us of 2 particular prisoners who escaped but stupidly decided to hitch-hike away when some officers found them as they were just leaving work. There isn't really any of that Prison Break kinda stuff happening.
Shared cells are only for the suicidal. People who are suicidal or potentially suicidal get put with another person so that they can have an eye kept on them.
The food sucks. It looks ok on the menu. But the actual stuff is all prepared and stacked hours before it's served so it is eaten cold. There is also never enough to eat and sometimes, the larger people will bully the smaller people into giving up their food. Officers do try to prevent this also, but they can't keep an eye on everything.
Prison rape is VERY common. Officers do try to stop this but it still happens. One guy has an itch and they want someone else to scratch it (again; her words, not mine).
Women and Men are not equal. Back to the alcohol, women get drunk faster than men because they cannot process the alcohol as fast. The problem with this is that a man could get really drunk with his mates , he'll get laid out on his side so he doesn't choke on his vomit. If a women gets drunk amongst men, she will not be dealt that same courtesy. A man who is also drunk might want to do things to her body because she'll be too drunk to defend herself. When she wakes up, the woman will have no memory of it and will think she's all fine. But then later on in her life perhaps in a couple of years or so, she might get a sudden flashback of what happened that particular night. Celia told us that she'd been with women in their thirties who would have a sudden recollection of what was done to them and there'd be tears streaming down their faces. She told this especially to us girls. She gave us the advice to be careful with alcohol and never to disrespect our bodies.
If you disobey an officer by doing things even as small as not getting out of bed when you're told, you can be sentenced to 5 days of solitary confinement and be charged with disobeying an officer. These cells are very small, perhaps an arms length long and wide and all there is in there is a potty and a mattress to sleep on. You will only be allowed to bring with you one book. The only people you will see are the officers bringing in your meals. If you want to go to the toilet, you press a buzzer to get an officer that will take you there. This will only happen if they officer's in a good mood and you haven't done anything to piss them off and if the officer's not doing anything else. If not, you will have to use the potty but there's a camera in the cell and you will be watched by an officer. In prison, you will constantly feel like you're being watched. Solitary confinement, depending on what you did varied between 5 days and 28 days. 28 days is only for those who do really bad stuff like stabbing an officer (you can file the end of a toothbrush to a really fine point). She said that confinement changed people a lot.
Being in jail all comes down to 30 seconds. It's the 30 seconds you take to do the crime that lands you in jail. She says there have been people as young as say 17 who were drunk in car with their bestfriend and were doing 60 k's in a 50k zone. A police car will get them to pullover but them being drunk means that a little part of them wants a car chase. Unfortunately that's what they do. They drive so fast that at some point they go off road and end up hitting a tree. The driver is ok. He's spot free but his bestfriend is dead. A tree branch fell in at just the right angle to hit him in the head, killing him. She says that all those people have said all they want is 30 seconds of their life back. The 30 seconds it took to drive in a car chase, killing their bestfriend.
I think that's actually about it. Celia was a great speaker. She's one of the few people who've come to the school that I've actually just sat and listened to. She's completely honest and sincere when she tells us these things that she's seen. She said it really just all comes down to decisions we make. Just like how she chose to get married at 19. It doesn't matter what school or family we have, we all get exposed to so much shit and it was our decision to ignore them and be responsible.
Uh, that's it. It was a great day. This entry's really long and tedious, sorry. If you actually read this, I guess you can choose to do whatever you want with the info as you wish.
