so, hello buzznet. This is officially my first post to the website, out of many to come. I decided that after following people on various websites [flickr, buzznet, myspace, various clothes shops, in the NY times, etc..], that I was going to start up a buzznet and begin a blog of my life. I'm going to be doing a good percentage of it about fashion, and also some bits about food, art, photography, music, philosophy, poetry, life, maybe even chemistry. Just to tell you a bit about me before I start though, I'm going to put in a little 'about me' right here.

So, I am in high school, and a sophomore. I love all things artsy, from fashion, to makeup, to hair, to music, and so on. I absolutely adore strawberries and lemons. High fashion has been an interest of mine for a very long time now, alongside my new interest in acting, and my always prevalent love of creating art with brushes, pencils, or a camera. I think of myself as unique and interesting, but I am not much of a talker. I want to travel to Japan, France, and Italy, those are my top three places I'd love to visit. I currently am undecided in my profession of the future, but I guess I'll figure out what I'm going to do along the way. I am in a relationship, and my boyfriend's name is Chris, and we have been dating for a little over a year now. I love him sooooo much! I am on a quest to get in great shape and lose about 15-20 lbs. I am also trying very hard to be more open, as in talking more and connecting with more people. My nationality is a mix of French, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Ukranian, Polish, German, and Cherokee Indian. I am not much a fan of the mainstream. I love everyone and hate no one, but there are people I really do not like. I am sweet, but I am a harsh critic sometimes. Lastly, I love myself. Not in a vain and self-obsessed way, but in a way that now I am taking better care of myself, and I treat myself better than I used to. Ive got scars, but they're my learnin' marks.

That's a nice little portion of me for starters, so, with hopes to keep this buzznet alive, I say...

Hey guys,

Loooooooooong boooooooooooring day. lol. Hopefully tomorrow will better. Photoshoot days are always fun, loooooooooong but fun.  Maybe, just maybe, if you're lucky, I'll post some pics.

Its funny out of all the pics of me on this site, bikini pics included, the one with the most views is me wearing them giant suglasses hahaha lol. Go figure lol?

Oh and my friend (thesefairytales) and I just thought of a pretty interesting poll u might wanna check out.  Lets just say its got all the right "assets".

um um um... idk. lol  I should be getting dressed now. my bf will be here in an hour. lol. ah well. I have a whole hour yet. =)
noone is ever going to read this so I dont really know why im bothering. guess I just miss writing in my diary. I should start that again.
My brand new scales arrived today! they are awesome! My weight is now 60.8kilos, bout 9st and a half. fukin brilliant! Wont be long till im in those size 10 jeans. =D

Ive not been to the gym in a while. will have to go this week. and keep it up. otherwise I will never get into them size 10s. And I refuse to carry on being fat.

I think its a little strange that I look at myself in the mirror and I dont think I look any different from when I was 11st. still a fat arse. but im a size 12 now =D so awesome.

A friend called me boney not long ago. =(  shes just jealous. im not bony. i know im not. Shes just put on weight in the past year and ive lost it and shes not happy about it. thats all. I should text her actually. Ive not spoken to her since friday I think and shes back at uni now. Should get in touch see how she is.

uh. im hungry. Shouldnt have had that dohnut earlier. was a stupid thing to do. did u know eating sugary things like dohnuts makes u crave them more. feel hungry more often. odd that. i hate it. shouldnt have had that dohnut. we have apples. I could of had an apple. or a mint. think I will have a mint now actually... no theres no point. I might aswell go brush my teeth and get ready to go out... bit mental this. im practically talking to myself... saaaad. ah well. I read that its good for u to have a diary and I really should start one again. its not like I can talk to anyone about my dieting or my new scales so its good to get it out somewhere.

I feel a little guilty now - I've been asking all my friends for their addresses saying I need to send them something (invitations to my bday party, which I think they already knew about, but I still wanted to do it, keeping with the theme..) and now I think they're getting excited about something coming in the post! One said "I presume it's to do with your bday..?" I hope I'm not getting their hopes up =/

lol Ah well, they seemed to be up for the idea of the party anyway, maybe they'll like getting invited the 'old-fashioned' way rather than just via Facebook or MSN as usual lol

Oh - in the middle of writing this, one friend got back to me and (finally) got the idea *whew* Well I was always excited to get an invitation in the post, it's a nice thought! =]

I'm going to make a cake today, with my dad x] We've been planning to do some cooking or baking for a while, since I'm off school now. I hope it goes ok, I haven't made a cake in age =P

That's it for now, my mind's gone blank lol =]

Oh yea and I'm kind of happy at the moment since Audrey Kitching uploaded my cartoon of her in her MySpace fan art album x] It's no huge deal, there are loads of drawings and paintings in there, but I'm just happy cos I've just found a cute new cartoon style, and it was my first pic =D Thank you!!

Silverstein's cover of "Apologize" by One Republic is now posted to the Punk Goes Pop 2 Myspace!

Look for the next song premiere on January 27th and check out what vocalist Shane Told had to say about being on the compilation:

"We are super excited to be a part of Punk Goes Pop 2.  We had a blast recording "Red Light Pledge" for the Punk Goes Acoustic  2 so we jumped at the chance to record a song for this one.

The interesting thing is that even though we've been a band for 9 years, we've never really done any covers.  The only one we did was a cover of Lifetime's "Rodeo Clown" for a tribute album that never came out.  Most bands start out doing some covers before they write their own songs, but we jumped right into originals.

When we had to choose a song, there was a million we talked about doing, but we all agreed that "Apologize" would be rad.  It was a song we all secretly rocked out to, a total guilty pleasure.  It's super catchy, it's the kind of song you hear once and it's instantly stuck in your head.  I also met One Republic one time and they were really nice.  I hope they don't think we ruined their song :).

I'm super excited to hear what our friends bands have done, especially Bayside and A Day To Remember.  I can't wait to get this CD in my hands.

We had so much fun recording this that we decided to do some other covers as well.  We're almost done recording our new album and we're going to have some B-Side cover songs as well.  Check that out on March 31st!
