So i'll toast every beat of my heart like a miracle.

monday monday monday..

today was a lovely day. i just don't feel right though. it's weird.

i got my packages today! it's always exciting to get mail, hahahhah. my bestie's birthday presents came too and i got my omg!askarth bracelet =] it's now resting on my arm with three other jac bracelets. she sent a signed card too, which i thought was neat.

i need to start working more, i think. i need more money for my billions of concerts coming up, my new camera, and my trip to california! my mom and i were talking about it today, and i can't wait! it should be so fun. =]

ohhhhhh, the other day my dad shreded all his old credit cards and i told him to give me the scraps..i'm going to make something out of them, i just don't know what yet.

ohhh, and one more thing..this is one of my better shots from the other night at the Just Surrender show. it's The Scenic, and lolz at who snuck into this picture.. =] more later maybe. i'm too tired now. ps-click the picture!

Taste of Chaos!!!!

my computer wont let my upload pictures to my journals, i'll post them in a little bit. :)

Otenki, a houston band, played first. They were pretty good but i wan't going crazy over them haha but they did sign my Wonder Woman cape! lol Cancer Bats cam on next they were good but i didn't stay the whole preformance,I HAD TO GET IN LINE TO MEET BRING ME THE HORIZON!!!! lol They were so awesome and even hotter in person!! Matt Nicholls signed my poster first then Oliver, i showed him my Wonder Woman cape and he said "Fucking awesome!" in his british accent!!! i definatley melted on the inside haha. then i said "In memory of Curtis Ward." and he said "Oh,well..." and looked down i said "Yeaaa i know" lol. I asked him if they could sign my shirt and he said "Yea if you can take it off." so yea they did haha. i still needed Lee to sign my shirt so oli told me to throw it at him, i didn't hear them so a worker got it and threw it at him! lol They didn't let us hug them or take pictures : ( but at least i met them!!!

Oh and guess who popped up to hang out with their friends Thursday?! Ok, give up? Oh well,SING IT LOUD!!!

Then Pierce the Veil came out and i couldn't help but to scream,i love them haha they were amazing as expected. Vic said "How many single people do we have here?" and almost everybody raised their hand haha and he said "Sing along, this is our new song we just wrote." then he started singing Single Ladies by Beyonce!!! XD

Me and Karina went walking around so we could meet more people. lol We met almost all Four Year Strong,Bring Me The Horizon(only at signing they weren't out for long, accept matt kean came out while thursday was playing), all Pierce The Veil, 2 from Sing It Loud, Tom Sykes and his friend, and 2 from Cancer Bats! lol

When Bring Me The Horizon played i stayed the whole preformance, it wasn't that crazy if you weren't in the mosh pit. Maybe Curtis Ward made a difference! haha but it was still pretty awesome. They started with The Comedown, then Daimonds Aren't Forever, The Sadness Will Never End(featuring Vic Fuentes), Football Season Is Over, Sleep with One Eye Open, then Chelsea Smile!

Gaf Tape, Poo and Potential Friends: RTOC Tour Observations and Such

Gaf tapes solves most of life's problems. Duct tape's pricier, prettier (neon colors galore) and more pliable cousin is a coveted item on tour because it can be used for SO MANY THINGS! It's a sidekick cover, it's a cord handler, it allows for extreme organization of bus drawers by being the perfect label. It keeps doors open. It's a canvas for your next masterpiece. It keeps plastic lizards in check. The possibilities are endless.

I hope you're not squeamish about the discussion of bowel movements, because as the "no paper / no poop" rules remains firm on all buses, the when/where of such functions is often brought up in conversation. Whether you like it or not, you may know quite a lot about the status of your bus mates digestion.

Rock stars need health insurance. Seriously, someone is always sick or congested or allergy-ish. Check out Rock For Health and see how you can contribute and spread awareness.

I think the biggest issue for me on this tour was making emotional connections. What can be done in 5 days? I'm not terribly outgoing (or even mildly outgoing), but it's in my nature to activate the buddy system as quickly as possible in a foreign situation. This involves a lot of listening, a lot of absorption of the surrounding social situation. Evaluating. Watching body language. I can't say it really resulted in anything this time around, but that never stops me from shifting into that mode, anyway.

Four Year Strong is a phenomenal band because 1. They kinda remind me of New Found Glory 2. They're just, well... genuine. And so is their crew. They're friends. They go way back. Their bus is not bumper cars for egos. No, I can't say omg, we are BFFL now! but I feel like I got a good sense of who they were because they weren't trying to be anything. N'ah mean?

In certain situations I feel like so much energy goes toward projecting personas. And that can get exhausting.

If we had the opportunity to take the maniacal bus driver out of the equation completely (I couldn't sleep at night. I thought we were going to die), I would even say I had a good experience.

The day after we fired the idiot bus driver, got a new one and changed buses, Josh woke up bright-eyed and exclaimed, "What a difference getting a good sleep makes! I don't feel like I want to die today!"

Word. Too bad that was my last day of tour.

We like to run our blood thin, and laugh at the things we never did

Your Lovescope - Tomorrow, March 18, 2009

It is better to take the risk of expressing how you feel today, rather than pretending you feel nothing at all. The present planetary alignment means that you have nothing to lose by opening up and being honest. The truth is that your friend is probably even more reserved than you, but also feels equally attracted. One of you has to do something; otherwise nothing will happen.

hahahah, i'm a sucker for horoscopes of any kind. =] also, i just received awesome news! i can in fact stay home again tomorrow, ohhh, it's so tempting..to stay home or not? hahahha, i think we all know where i'll be tomorrow.

ohhh and look!

i looooove it! that means i should be getting my other things in the mail very soon =]

speaking of them boys, i find it completely unfair that Bring Me the Horizon and the rest of the TOC bands are all participating in these meet and greets before the shows..not cool! ohhh well, i'll just have to wait to meet Vic i guess..

i know, i know. i'm a sucker for any boy in a band..

one more thing..

are you alright mr. gaskarth look-alike?! speaking of gaskarth..

i want, i want, i want!

don't torture me, or beg me

it's been so long since i last updated..let's see..

i'm very sick at the moment. so sick they wanted to send me to the E.R. i think i'm fine though. and i get to miss school, so i'm not complaining. =] i'm having conflicting thoughts again..as in i think i can maybe be happy, but then..it's too hard to explain.

i'm so pumped for my drop dead shirts and my new BMTH hoodie! speaking of, how unfair is it that Bring Me the Horizon AND The Used are playing a FREE show together and i don't get to go! damn those lucky texas dwellers! someone buy me a plane ticket, please?

anyways, seeing as it's close to one in the morning, i should be wrapping this up. i'm excited for tomorrow, i'm going to make myself a new headband!

I don't know if anyone bought the practice stripper pole.

Today we were in Louisville, Kentucky at this venue called the EXPO 5 and its sort of weird and sketchy because it's in this thing that looks like an aviation hangar but hosts this bizarre flea market. I say bizarre because right when I walked in I found myself under a neon sign that said "Buy a practice pole!" You know, as in stripper pole. Makes sense, I suppose, since there are 5 strip joints in a row across the street, but that doesn't make me feel any less creeped out.

A lot of the boys bought these bb guns (?) and Vic from Pierce The Veil bought Four Year Strong a sweet dreamcatcher with a wolf on it. That was nice of him. The upside is I met Jenna, who is adorable, and who will undoubtedly have awesome photos from tonight's show.

For anyone wondering, the cutest person on the tour isn't Oli Sykes. It's this guy named Chris who's traveling with them (bmth). Freaking adorable! But I'll be embarrassed if he reads this.

Denny's was an adventure -- fys and bmth piled into ptv's rv to get there.

There were a lot of kids and one girl in particular who was oversharing in the parking lot. Note: When you lost your virginity, even if it WAS just 2 weeks ago, is not an appropriate conversation starter.

Our maniacal bus driver tore off 2 AC units and the satellite on his way to pick us up from Denny's. Fool knows he's getting fired, so he's driving even worse tonight. I don't often swear out loud but I yelled JESUS FUCKING CHRIST after we did a series of rumbles over what felt like dead bodies. Annnnd now I'm sort of getting motion sick. Night kids.

On The Road With Chaos: Pretty Oli, Shifty Buses And Karaoke

Sweet baby jebus, I think I should've taken some Dramamine before I went to bed last night. This bus obviously isn't like, the mercedes of it's kind. My bunk is comfy but I swear I felt like we were off-roading in a jeep. Are there not paved roads between Chicago and Minneapolis?

Alright, so, yesterday -- I touched down in Chicago at 4, stumbled around with my luggage 'til I found a shuttle, sat in gridlock on the 190... or maybe 90? I looked at all the boxy houses and  trees with no leaves on my drive to the Vic Theater. Also, I looked for signs that the city was hometown-sh to Fall Out Boy. And The Academy Is... and The Hush Sound. Found not a single one. Psh.

Walked into the venue as Pierce The Veil was going on. They actually sounded good. But the singer, Vic, looks exactly like this guy I know named Jessie, who was the dude in charge on the Music Saves Lives bus. I kept wanting to shout OMG HI JESSIE. Except, you know, it wasn't him.

I met the ever-radiant being that is John Ortega (ounceofwentz), which words really can't describe because he is like sunshine and happiness in human form. It's true.

I watched Four Year Strong, who are my bus mates for the next few days AND the only band on this tour to find a home in my iTunes library.

Everyone went apeshit when the Bring Me The Horizon banner dropped. Just the banner! And then the entire theatre went bezerk once the band actually started.

Oli Sykes, you hot mess.

I went to the bus to arrange my junk and I met the merch guys, Josh and 'C'. I checked my tweets and my massive amount of only slightly important email... then I went back inside and watched some Thursday. During the last portion of their set they dropped big black balloons, which was kind if a nice change from confetti (even though I admittedly ADORE confetti).

After I said goodbye to the bundle of happiness known as John, I hung on the bus until Josh was like "Were going to Trader Todd's, interested?" And I was, because that sounds like distant relative or Trader Joe's.

I had a drink and some shots with these girls who were close friends of the band. Vic from Pierce The Veil was singing karaoke. lulz.

Then we went to L&L something or other (not Hawaiian BBQ--this note is mostly for my sister) where I admired Geoff from Thursdays big fluffy jacket and he told someone that he was dissapointed in their Chicago audience. Aw.

I felt like it was okay to stand outside with the smokers because when everyone breathes in Chicago so it looks like smoke, n'ah mean?

And then mynewfriendmegan says goodbye and goes "Tell OLIVER I said goodnight!" (we had been discussing his prettiness earlier) and it turned out Oli's little brother is on the tour and was standing right behind her.

Ladies, he's cute, and 19.

Haha/jk.

That concludes day 1. My hair is dirty and I would still kill for some Taco Bell.
