I've been playing the piano since I was 5. Since I was about 10, I've been playing Christmas/Hannukah music for the old people at a local retirement home. They often sing along and clap. They look happy which makes me happy. After all the students play, we usually eat cookies and talk to the old people. They have so much to say! I learn so much about them each year. :]

When I used to play in the symphony, we would play to a lot of different people. Once, we played to some teenagers from a juvenile hall. They were all in hand cuffs but they really looked like they appreciated the music.
And aw! I love playing piano for the community, it's so much fun :)
