Today was the day...  I was still awake in the early hours of the morning!
My mind was so active and alert, thinking about all sorts of random things, making me restless and more sleep deprived. Anyway I had to wake up at 8AM to get ready to pick up some things downtown and check out some things on the way.
Apparently, 'Hot Mess' Cobra Starship's latest album is instores at JB Hi-Fi. I also saw Brand New Eyes - Paramore for a reasonably good price... if only it was the big deluxe version, I'd buy it definitely. I also want to buy the Alternative Press issue with Paramore on the cover... hope they don't get rid of it yet... I'm going back to buy it soon.

After all that buzz in the morning, came home about 11AM and practiced some piano, since my exam was later in the afternoon. Practice, practice, practice...
At 1:30PM, I headed to a local festival, waited for about half an hour for my friend and her band to arrive.
By the time they set up it was already 2:20PM, I had to leave in about 5 minutes... so I watched them perform their first song, "I'd Lie - Taylor Swift." It was so good, they had a saxophone play for a bit at the start, with the bass and acoustic guitar in the background, her voice sounded amazing, then the drums came in and it just brought this really cool vibe to the song. Realising the time, I had to leave and run back home to get ready for my piano exam.

On the way out to the city, I just had butterflies in my stomach the whole way and felt so nervous! Revising my notes for the 'General Knowledge' - the part where the examiner asks you questions about the pieces you played like the form, style, tonality, modulation, terms and composers.
Sitting in the waiting room, is the most daunting feeling ever.
I see other people in the room waiting to be examined, I think to myself 'why are they stressed and nervous?' they only have like three songs to play... I have five ...because I'm in a higher grade.

My examination time was 3:38PM but there was a delay and I was just there waiting, not knowing when it will start and just hoping and praying this will all be over soon.
Finally the time came... the whole examination took about 30 minutes... it felt more like an hour inside.
I messed up so many times and it was noticable ... damn nerves! I aced most of my scales though which was oddly satisfying because I only started to really practice them in the last few weeks. I stuffed up atleast something in every piece I played, which totally brought my confidence down even lower. Not knowing whether I messed up the 'Aural Tests' or not just led me hoping I didn't.... Reading the report later I actually did stuff it up.
After all that, I still managed to pass... with Credits ...I achieved a 'B' :D Yay for me! I thought I was going to get a 'C.' I called my mum afterwards and I started crying happy tears... hahah almost fooled her in thinking that I failed. This is a great achievement for me! Thanks to all people who wished me luck! That definitely worked it's magic. <3


I'm so glad this is all over! Piano literally took up all my head space, I couldn't focus on anything else at the time... I couldn't even find the shop in a shopping centre I always go to (it was on a different level) and studying for maths and science and trying to memorise essay just didn't comprehend and stay in my head.

Well back to school on Monday... missing The Gunz Show with The Maine and The Summer Set as guests. You know what, I'm going to go into library during recess or just listen in class if we're on the laptops and if they haven't already blocked the idobi site, Hahah they already blocked Buzznet before I even got an account. How do they even know about it?
Something I learned these holidays was converting American PST & EST time to our time now in Australian EST... there's like 15 hours difference or something. I can't remember, I only know The Gunz Show starts at 12 midday on Thursdays and 11AM on Mondays :D LOL "Ballin !" hahah he's so funny and plays good music!

To wrap things up, I'll be away on school camp on Thursday and Friday, hope there aren't any dramatic updates on/by bands and news/gossip on buzznet. Just realised I'll miss Glee on Thursday :(
