my mother once told me that flowers are like relationships.
as a seed, it may seem tiny and insignificant.
lost within the cold, dark soil.
but with a little love and care.
it will surface and become a beautiful flower.
sometimes i feel like a seed.
but my mother assured me that if a stranger came along.
and took the time to get to know me for me.
than i have just discovered true love in its purest form.
so today, i planted a seed.
but it's not like i believe in everlasting love.
