With 3 Simultaneous Projects, Will Pete Doherty Still Have Time to Smoke Crack?

Busy boy Pete Doherty thinks he can manage his solo project, Babyshambles, and the Libertines all at once.  Now excuse me if I'm wrong, but the last thing I saw him in the news for is getting busted for heroine while on an airplane and the last video he put out was the cracked out one with Amy Winehouse.

In an interview with Babelgum, Doherty said that taking on all three projects at once wouldn't be too much for in and that he, in fact, wants to do so.  And so, curious as I was, I watched the Doherty interview myself (and so can you).  But I honestly couldn't understand what he was talking about, so he must still be able to get in his heroine/crack smoking quota for the day.  Or maybe it was the British slang?  Anyway, to do all three projects at once means he needs cooperation from his band mates... which might be a problem since he broke into Carl Barât's (Libertines) house that one time.

But the good news (if you're a Doherty fan) is that Pete just released a new video.  I love the Libertines, but I'm not fond of Babyshambles.  I hadn't heard any of Pete's solo stuff until now and... to be honest, I can live without it.  "Broken Love Song" isn't bad, but it's not good.  It's boring.  And, having just watched the video 5 minutes ago, I can't remember how it goes.  So, I'd say it's very forgettable.  The video was ok too, it had its good moments, like when the woman walks down the stairs and when... ... ... no I think that was about it.  Other than that, it's crack-pants Doherty lying on his bed in a crappy apartment/minimum security prison/dorm room?

Anyway, now that you have the links to the interview and his new single, I'd like to know what you think.
