Widespread Panic to Close Out Bonnaroo


Widespread Panic will close out the four-day Bonnaroo Music Festival on June 15, it was announced today.


Widespread Panic have been rocking the touring circuit for 22 years, consistently ranking in Pollstar's Top 50 grossing live acts. That's not to mention the fact that the Southern jam band has sold more than 3 million albums.

A constant at Bonnaroo since its inception in '02, the band is apparently excited to return again this year. "We are extremely excited to be invited back for our seventh gig at Bonnaroo," the band said in a press release. "Bonnaroo is always a blast. We hope to have plenty of surprises for the fans."

The festival will run from June 12-15 in Manchester, Tennessee and is the largest music and camping event in the United States, as well as the country's only major music festival to run 24/7.

This year's Bonnaroo will include performances by Pearl Jam, Les Claypool, Metallica and Kanye West.
