It really depends on the age of the child. If it's a five-year-old saying some obscene language at school, he either developed that from the parents, or sometimes even from children it's age. That may be not always be true, though. If a seventeen-year-old kills somebody, it's HIS/HER fault. People over the age of about thirteen usually grow a sense of right or wrong, and if they decide to do something bad, then it's their choice. We have to stop blaming the parents for things children do if they are at least aware of what they're doing. Well, that's my feelings on that subject.

I have to agree with putrefactinghearts. Good parents try to teach their children good values, bad parents don't really care what their children learn. Parents can only do so much. There comes a point in everyone's life when they have to start taking responsibility for their own actions.

however what about the parents that are so restrictive to their kids they drive them away and to reject everything that they've been taught by them because of the lack of freedom?
