The brianchild of Trent Reznor, the electronic and industrial-based powerhouse is an undeniable force in modern music. It's been nearly 20 years since Nine Inch Nails were first formed in Cleveland, Ohio. Spanning an incredible number of genres and sonic influences, Reznor and company released Year Zero in 2007 to much critical acclaim. The concept album, focused on a dystopian, drug-induced future of totalitarian power, is set to make hundreds of year-end lists. We couldn't love it more.

	Trent Reznor slags FOB and Smashing Pumpkins: Truth or douche? Posted by poxline 2 yrs 2 mos ago Half the fun for American artists playing music festivals in England is slagging off other American artists. Prior to taking the stage at the Leeds circus of rock, Nine Inch Nails genius Trent Reznor managed to insult Fall Out Boy and the Smashing Pumpkins. According to Reznor, the Pumpkins are "a bit corporate." And don't look for Trent to be wearing a Clandestine hoodie. "I doubt you'll see me on the side of the stage for Fall Out Boy." Is Trent Reznor really so much better than everybody else? Or is he just old and bitter?
