Back in the day: The Amanda Show

Before Amanda Bynes hit the big time with films like She's The Man and Sydney White -- she was best known for her sketch comedy and variety show on Nickelodeon.
The Amanda Show first aired in 1999 when Amanda was only 13! Some of the sketches you probably remember include Judge Trudy (a funny spoof of Judge Judy), Moody's Point (mocking teen TV dramas) and Penelope Taynt (about an Amanda fanatic).
Young actors like Haylie Duff, Ashley Tisdale and Adam Brody made appearances on the show and cast members Drake Bell and Josh Peck wound up with their own spin-off show on Nickelodeon called Drake and Josh because of their popularity on The Amanda Show. It really was the place to be at the time if you were a young star on the rise.
The show was cancelled in 2002 but Amanda's career continued as she was immediately picked up to star on The WB sitcom What I Like About You.
