MCR cut down to three

My Chemical Romance member Frank Iero is the second bandmate to quit the group's UK tour after a illness within his family.

Iero has pulled out of the emo rocker's shows in London (November 15) and Belfast (November 17) and will be replaced by a stand-in named Matt Cortez, reports Gigwise.

Iero's departure follows the temporary exit of drummer Bob Bryar, who injured his wrist last month on the Black Parade gang's North American tour. Replaced by a man simply known as 'Pete', Bryar has decided to remain on the tour bus supporting the dwindling group.

Not overly phased by the changes, lead singer Gerard Way told NME: "We've been through a lot of stuff on this record, dealt with life situations and stuff.

"Ultimately it's going to be a little different and look a little different, but we're ready for this."
