MCR OFFER YOU A RIDE…WHAT WOULD YOU DO???

MCR

This is a true story. But the thing is I didn’t really thought much about it until recently I had a reunion with some of my old friends during our time off uni, and we just had bunch of fun and talked about the past times when we were in high school when one of my best friends--- Laura mentioned how to this day she still cannot forget one of the best days of her life, it was also the first time she saw for herself first-hand how nice and kind MCR are to their fans.

It was back in during My Chemical Romance’s “The Black Parade” tour in the U.K, my friend--- Laura (who had been an MCR fan ever since the “Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge” era) was lucky to go, while her mom (who became a fan when “The Black Parade” came out) tagged along. It was on the night of the concert, Laura and her mom could have guessed their luck, they met MCR twice in one night; once before the concert with which they got hugs, autographs from MCR and photos taken with them. The second time in the night when they met MCR was after the concert while they were waiting for the dad to come and pick them up, when considering they were staying in a hotel anyway, Gerard and co. very kindly offered to give them a lift home!!!

The rest of us were actually looking at her as if she was insane when she said that the great offer was turned down, but then she explained that it was not her who turned down the offer, she actually wanted to say “YES!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!” and planned to call her dad not to come, when her mom stepped in, thanked Gee and co. for the offer and turned it down… & Laura was telling us how disappointed she was when her mom stepped in.

At that time I was thinking…”Why? Why? Why would you refuse such an offer? How crazy can you get?!”

I mean, if I was in that position, I personally would have said yes… :P What would you have said??

Dont you dare!

Some of you might not understand why I`m posting this, but just know that I have my reasons.

To everybody out there who is thinking about comitting suicide, dont you dare! Dont you dare to end your life, just because you can.  Suicide is never the answer. Never! And dont tell me that I dont understand, because I know I dont. How can I understand someone who is not myself. But I know a thing or two from experience.

I know what its like too feel low, to feel wothless, to feel like it is not worth it anymore. I know because I have been there. I know the feeling of wanting to end your life, I know it. But I never did, I could not do it. Some might ask why, and I have a very simple answer: I have a little sister.

I could never do that to her, never! I know life can be hard, and I know that it sometimes feels like its not worth it anymore. But trust me when I say that somebody care! Somebody would be crushed if you were gone, trust me. Keep fighting to stay alive, because you cannot give up, dont you dare to give up.

I also know what its like to be left behind. I lost my dear friend, I lost her. She could not deal with life anymore, so she ended it. And I would do anything to have her back. It has been almost two months, and I still cry. To those who think siucide is a romantic thing... Its not.

It is so much pain for the people who are left, it is so much confusion, so much hurt, so much sorrow. It breaks me down, it tears me up. And I will never do the same as her. Because I feel the pain of losing her, because I will never make people hurt in the way I am hurting now.

So to everybody out there, who is thinking about ending your life. Dont you dare, dont you fucking dare!

I will always love you, my dearest friend. "I know that it is freezing, but I think we have to walk"

To all you MCR fans (and haters) out there!

So... I just checked Kerrang.com to see if they had posted something about MCR's 4th album, and they had so I read it and then just thought I'd look at the comments people had left.

First of all, I think read the word "fucktard" about fifty times and I didn't even read half of the comments. I didn't know it was such a mainstream word...

Second, I realized that on every single webpage, that's not a MCR fan based site, the same discussion occur every single time! Some fan (times hundred) writes "ZOMG!! MCR IS SO NOT EMO!!!!!!!" and then a most likely hater writes back "Fuck off, they're emo and deal with it" (that was a very nice version of their replies).

SO WHAT IF MCR IS EMO?! I couldn't care less and thank god I saw this comment on the Kerrang! page saying something like "Who cares if they're emo. As long as you like their music it shouldn't matter what label they have". THANK YOU whoeveryouare!! This MCR-is-so-fucking-emo-no-they're-not discussion is getting old. No wait, it's getting ancient.

If you're a fan of the band and their music (hopefully not just the looks) then you don't care if people label them as emo. Deal with it like a normal person and just shut up.
If you're a hater and only leave ugly comments about how stupid, fucktards MCR fans are just... don't say anything, you only look really... well, stupid.
Then back to the fans: if the haters really can't keep their mouths closed, you don't really have to answer back at them. Just ignore them and they will after a while grow tired and stop leaving these lame comments :]

Got it?
Good.

That's all I had to say.

And if anyone has forgotten or misunderstood me here: I'm a big fan of My Chemical Romance and I can't wait for their new album! :D

Chuck's perspective on My Chem's 4th album

Hey guys...

OKay so I've been going crazy with suspense for MyChem's new album and I can't seem to find anything out about a release date. Ray updated everyone on the mixing so we pretty much know the album won't be out this week *Gerard Helena tear*

But when MyChem did a secret performance at the Roxy and also some other concerts at SummerSonic they played some of their new songs, here are some links

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JrlH7KqvrA&feature=related

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKdFkSOvpv4&feature=related

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVOlCnNoVq0&feature=related

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFl5tMifL7Y&feature=related

Now, before I was quite anxious that MyChem weren't goig to bring it

...

I'm even more anxious now. There has been so much hype about it and I think everyone's just building it up and in the end may be disappointed.

I'm sorry to say it, and I'm sorry to believe it too. I LOVE My Chemical Romance SO MUCH! And I can't wait to go see them at SoundWave next year, but I have a bad feeling about this album... *tear*

If you didn't all know, Revenge is my least favourite album of MyChems at a musical level. And with that said I must remind everyone it's still my 3rd favourite album of ever!

I liked the first album cus I really just love that dirty, rock club sound and I think Black Parade is phenomenal because I think it made My CHemical Romance level up - sorry to use Pokemon terms here but it's true! - I really do think they did really evolve into a great rock band when Black Parade came out because the sound of Revenge was very angry and angsty and I think Black Parade matured the band.

This being said, I think the new album so far is going in the wrong direction for me

This is the evolution chain for MyChem to me so far

Bullets = Dirty rock club punk

Revenge = Angsty emo punk

Parade = The meanings of a true rock

...

4th album = dance pop punk, heavy on the dance pop

And it makes me sad

so check out those links, get back to me on what you think because I seriously need some other opinions, please comment and tell me how you feel so far, is your stomache queasy like mine?

Anyways

Buzz n' kick ass

Love you's all

Liana -]

P.S. On an ending note even thought this is going to wreck the whole I'm sad mood thing I found this awesome picture of G

I FREAKING HACKING LOVE IT!!!!

Mixing update from RAY!

Mixing with our good buddy Rich Costey is going great. So far, he's mixed 9 songs, and they all sound fucking stellar. He had an interesting process where he started out mixing some of the looser songs first, and then ramped up to the denser stuff. Our goal in mixing is to make it loud, and then make it louder then that. "Still Alive" was an early one, and he brought a real heaviness and aggressiveness to that song. Song is very drum and bass oriented, very different for us, but still rocks at the same time. A bit of Queen influenced guitar harmonies helps on that song.

"Save Yourself" was another early one, a mix of Judas Priest metal and 80's arena rock. That song went through a lot of different permutations, and finally we settled on this vibe that took us to new territory. We then got into a song called "The Only Hope For Me Is You," and that's where things really starting clicking with Rich. What was great was each song would just sound better and bigger than the last. As some of you had guessed from a twitter thing of mine (I refuse to call it a tweet), David Campbell did a bit of work on the record, and that's one of the songs he arranged for. Costey did this crazy effect with the strings going into the last chorus that blew me away. One of my favorite tracks. (click "read more" for more!)

"Trans Am" and "Death Before Disco" came next. "Disco" you may have heard at the Roxy shows or from Youtube videos of Summersonic. So happy with the way that mix turned out. I have to drive REALLY FAST when I listen to it. I think that's a hallmark of a great rock song. "Trans Am" is an epic take on "Born To Run" in 4 minutes. When we wrote this song, it was HUGE for us. Really opened our hearts and ears during the writing process. Frank, thanks for noodling and G, good ear to make a song out of it. You guys will love this song. Another favorite. Looking forward to more mixes, we got coming up "Kiss The Ring," which we also played at Roxy. I really can't wait for "Black Dragon Fighting Society," our ode to Misfits punk. Song kinda shreds!

Mixing is a great thing. The ideas continue to flow, and like they say, writing is never done. FYI any of the song titles mentioned are still tentative, you know how we like to change things up!!!

LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE DONE, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE! LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE DONE!

At the end of the world
Or the last thing I see

You are never coming home
Never coming home never coming home
Never coming home

And all the things that you never ever told me
And all the smiles that are ever gonna hold me
Never coming home
Never coming home
Could I?
Should I?
And all the wounds that are ever gonna scar me
For all the ghosts that are never gonna...

(For those of you who must know: no, these are not actually the My Chemapples from the other pictures.  Those guys were already past their prime when I started taking the photos, and I was not going to eat them after they'd been all over my floor.  Ew.

Those apples are safe and have been released into the wild.)

Don't blame me for being me

Chapter 61

Part 2

Pleased to meet you, baby, I wanna be your honey

Slowly the evening turned into dark deep night. We all were keeping drinking and having fun. Chats and any other interactions had more freedom. As for me I argued much with ATL guys about their music videos. That all ended by peaceful kisses on cheeks.

Well, also we were doing karaoke much and some little competitions kinda "who will drink 2 litres of beer faster?". And of course dances, dances, dances to the sound of rhythmic music. Dasha and Pete just burned our small dance floor! They were awesome. I must confess, Butcher and I danced rumba. Or something similar to this xD. He's a good partner xD. And he managed to kiss me during the dance. Don't even ask me how he could. So, we had a great time. As I got exhausted after those moves and walked further from a center of fun. I grabbed my camera and a bottle of vodka and established myself in a distant comfy chair. Soon I was found by Joe.

"How's everything going?" he asked.

I looked up at him with "Are you talking to me?" kind of face.

"Just wanna be nice", he shrugged off and landed on a floor next to me.

I kept on taking photos silently alternating it with drinking.

"Let's talk, Ira", he insisted on paying attention to him.

I snickered and put away my stuffs.

"What about?" I asked playing with his hair.

"Not here", he looked intently at me.

What an old trick, Troh xD. And I just couldn't refuse...

We walked into a bedroom that was in that suite. He immediately locked it and faced with my wonder-struck facial expression.

"We won't be interrupted", he replied and moved closer to me.

Next thing I remember is kissing him and sitting on top of him on a bed. And I just thought... what the fuck is going on? I wanted sex with him from the first day of this tour, but I couldn't get it. I was trying hard, but he was refusing me time after time. So why now he can get me? Why I should give him what he wants?

I stopped him aiming to make things clear.

"Joe, just answer me - why only now? Why it's happening to us only now?" I asked.

"Shh, baby, just don't waste time", he said with a voice I never heard before and pulled me to himself.

Our lips collided again.

You wanna get much excitement, Mr. Trohman? Fuck, you'll get it. Only it!

We crashed on the bed and he took off his shirt. I leaned to his shaven chest and began kissing it all over stopping on his nipples. I tried my best to do it just fantastic. And as I could judge by sounds Trohman was letting out, I was on a right way. I lifted myself to his face and we started kissing again. I couldn't miss such an opportunity xD. After not big amount of time I was shirtless too and Joe's hands were moving to a clip of my black bra. I stopped it and pressed his arms to a pillow behind him.

"Do you want me?" I asked leaning to his ear.

"Sure", he whispered.

I sat up straight on top of him and hurriedly unbuckled his jeans. His eyes expressed a desire we talked about. I ran my hand there under his boxer. He gasped and caught my arm. We were moving our hands together rubbing Joe's growing erection. Some minutes more and my plan would fail. To addition he flipped us over and I couldn't trade our positions on my own, so I had to ask about it straight. With a knowing smile he laid on his back again. Again we had a tough making-out xD and I don't know when I'll forget about Joe's hands moving all over my body. Soon I felt his erection and smiling wickedly started crawling out of him. I moved down kissing his stomach and then fastly jumped of the bed.

"What are you going to do, babe?" Joe asked.

I grimaced at that "babe" and picked up my shirt.

"What the fuck?" Joe's tone changed.

I took some steps forward the door and then turned to him.

"I'm making my sweet revenge, honey. You know how many times I wanted you so hard that I didn't know just what to do? Yes, you do. You know how much I wanted sex with you? Yes, you do. But you had been playing fool or saying this stupid "hey, buddy, we're friends". You had been making me feel I'm not a woman. Hope now you can see where I'm woman and how much. Sure, friends don't fuck friends. And now I'm your friend, Trohman", I said and walked out in anger.

He yelled "wait" or something like this and I didn't care. People in the main room stared at me. I shrugged off and walked away to the balcony putting on my shirt on my way there. I sat down on some chair there and tried to relax as efforts to make Joe want me got me exhausted xD. Soon Dasha ran to me.

"What it was?" she asked giving me a glass of something "hot".

I took it and explained her the situation in my ironic and mocking manner. So I made her laugh hard.

"Poor Joe. He's probably feeling...bad... I even don't know what to say", she replied.

"Say it was mean", we heard Pete's voice.

Pete already visited his needed-in-sex friend and came to us.

"It was always mean from his side to refuse me", I replied and the topic was closed.

I stayed there for more time after Dasha and Pete walked into the room again. Some people were coming to me and saying last news  from there, in particular about Joe and how he felt xD. Everybody was saying it was mean from my side as the whole situation was explained by "kind people". I didn't care actually.

Soon I could gather much people around me including Jack, Frank, Gerard, Bob, Travis and Vicky. After many jokes being said and stories being told, I just looked around and saw that we all were smoking guys xD.

"Hey, who wanna hold a competition?" I asked.

"Ideas again?" Bob asked me smiling knowingly.

"Yeah. Just we all are standing here and smoking. I suggest "who's faster can do it". I mean, who will faster smoke one cigarette", I said.

"Pfft, it will be me", Frank spoke.

"Who said?" Jack disagreed smiling.

"I'm faster than all of you", Gerard pried.

"Whom are you kidding, child!", it was Trav.

"Hey, guys. It's not about bragging. Let's just find out", Vicky giggled.

Each of us took a cigarette and matched them.

"Ready? Set! Go!" I said and inhaled deeply.

Doing long gulps of tobacco we were looking at each other and snickering. Being non-professional smokers Vicky and me soon began coughing and decided to give up this unhealthy battle xD. First was Jack and got a kiss from Vicky. Frank asked for a consolation prize from me as he got used to them too much xD. All I could suggest is a couple of drinks, so I think I started my second bottle of alcohol for that evening. It couldn't help clear-headed vision and actions, so after not much time I concealed at that balcony with Jack. He had a bottle of vodka and I had a plate of grapes. I was feeding us while he was holding our glasses. After another grape I put into his mouth, he resisted.

"For what I'm eating this so much?" he asked me.

"To remove an awful scent of cigarettes", I replied.

"Okay, what if I like my awful scent of cigarettes?" he smiled.

I sat on his lap wrapping my legs around his waist.

"How we will kiss with this awful scent of cigarettes?" I asked back and bit my bottom lip.

He smiled widely and grabbed a branch of grapes then picking them and fastly throwing into his mouth. I laughed at his actions and secretly looked at my watches. It was 2 a.m. We had much time in stoke, but I wished to have more. Train Dasha and me will go by tomorrow leaves at 7 a.m. and a half. Andy said so (he has bought tickets for us). Watching contently at Jack and grapes-eating, I heard much laughter coming from the room. I was glad that the party was going damn well. I knew I'd probably have the end of my own soon xD.

"To kisses", I raised my glass and clinked with Jack's one.

"Agreed", he said.

After not so much time our lips met and his hands were behind me holding me tightly in that embrace. I took off his cap and put on my head with a peak backwards. Our kisses were only teasing and sooo promising. We couldn't resist our bodies and drunken minds xD.

"I want sex", I said in between.

His tightened grip on my butt was a very understandable answer. I giggled and got up.

"I need to say a couple of words to my friend and some good byes too. You can wait for me outside of the room, in corridor", I said grabbing our unfinished bottle of vodka.

"Sure, honey", he replied getting up too.

I nodded my head and went to Dasha. I noticed that Andy and Pete left the party already. Strangely that Trohman stayed. But I saw him making out with some chick (Nikki, her name was), so all I could do is to take a photo of them xD.

"I'll be in our room with Jack. So till we're not done, be here, please. I'll call you then", I said to Dasha.

"Okay. It's a pity you're leaving", she smiled.

I returned her a grin and saw Jack walking out of the room. Dasha noticed my sheepish staring state I saw Jack off.

"Take it easy, girl", she laughed at me. "And play nice with a boy", she added.

"I will", I nodded smiling and made a round of saying byes and hugging farewell to the people (leaving Trohman and Nikki alone xD).

I walked to the exit door with a feeling of somebody was staring right at my back. In a doorway I turned around only to find out it was Gerard. I waved my hand at him and finally went out. Jack was there, outside, patiently waiting for me. I pulled out a key out of my skinnies' pocket and took a direction to my room calling Jack to follow.

********Soundtrack - Move Like You Gonna Die by Cobra Starship*******

All the way to a bed in my room I heard songs of Cobra Starship popping in my head xD. I couldn't shake that potpourri out of there and it was making me snicker in the most inconvenient moments xD.

*****************

"Thank you so much, Jack Barakat", I panted heavily as he rolled on his back.

"You're welcome, honey", he replied catching his breath.

"Give me your phone number. It'll be my quick-call", I smirked smiling widely and thinking about this weird habit of all men I was this evening calling me "honey" tonight xD.

He chuckled and turned to me.

"What do you think about random tenderness about an accidental sex?" he asked me tracing his fingers down from my neck.

"I've had the same question to you, actually", I couldn't stop grinning xD.

In a middle of our sloppy exploring each other's bodies my mobile rang loudly. Due to the melody I indicated it was Dasha.

"Damn! I forgot about her. The party's probably over", I said wrapping myself in some sheet and rushed in a lounge where most of Jack's and my clothes were thrown before.

Not without some difficulties I found my phone and answered it.

"Hey. What's up?" I asked secretly and contently watching Jack's body being stretched on the bed.

"Nothing important. I just wanna get into my room", she replied with an irony.

"We're still here... naked... so you're not against just being in lounge?" I asked.

"Ugh, okay. What I can do else?" she sighed.

"Be with Pete?" I suggested.

"Ira, I'm drunk! I don't wanna come to him in this state", she protested.

"Okay, okay, I understand. Come to the room. The door's not locked of course. I'll be in the bedroom. Keep in touch with me via mobile", I instructed her.

We said byes and I began gathering my clothes.

"What're you doing?" Jack yelled from the bedroom.

I brought my clothes there and returned for his ones.

"My friend will come soon. We'll be stuck here, right in a comfy bed doing what we were doing before", I said finding myself smiling to him again.

He covered himself by a blanket establishing better. I threw his clothes on some chair and closed a door behind me.

"Who said about sleeping?" I asked Jack returning into the bed.

He opened his eyes and pulled me closer.

"You told me you had early train. Don't you think a little rest can help?" he asked stroking my back.

His words and fingers were convincing me to fall asleep no matter how hard I tried not to close my eyes. But looking at his face with a peaceful expression of a sleeping man I dozed off, unnoticedly to myself.

My Favorite Ten Bands

My top ten... I love these people. I actually have a favorite song list, my Fave 500, but that wouldn't fit. Number one is, surprisingly, a tie.

10. The Academy Is...

TAI... is not your average band of twentysomething indie rockers. Well, yes, they are twentysomethings, but they are far from average. William Beckett started writing songs for himself because he didn't like what was on the radio. One, YES. I despise the radio (minus a select few stations) because they'll play the crap out of a good song until you hate it. Two, that's why I write songs! This man WINS! Then, he and Siska started what is the awesome magicalness of The Academy Is (later adding the...)

But enough about the history.

This band is great. Their music channels, like, everything shiny in the world. Which means, basically, their music is happiness in disguise. It's pretty much AWESOME. It makes me think, and it makes me happy, which is what I want out of music.

9. Fall Out Boy

I've been a fan of this band ever since I heard "Dead on Arrival" when I was seven. Fall Out Boy has mentored some of the beastiest bands, not to mention, ther've released some really beasty albums. The reason that I think Fall Out Boy appeals to me (and a vast majority of Americans) is that they're so timely. They're so focused on making such original music for the present that it's unbelievable. If I were to pick up Take This To Your Grave in five years, I'd probably believe it was still '03.

6. My Chemical Romance

My Chemical Romance is probably the most honest of the bands on this list. They address angst in such a way that you can actually believe that they have somehow captured it, and turned it into music. Plus, they have some pretty sweet guitar riffs that are impossible to forget.

5. The Spill Canvas

The Spill Canvas appeals to me, but my favorite thing about them is I have no idea why I love them so much. My song of the moment has changed a lot over the past week, but most of the time, it's been by The Spill Canvas. I think that's why I like them so much. I don't know why I love them, yet that's exactly the reason why.

4. We Shot The Moon

I found this band on MySpace, and it is very, very rarely that you find this sort of talent online. They write some of the best songs I've ever heard. I might be biased, seeing as I am a fan of piano rock, but I don't think that you will disagree with me once you listen to them. They are a very indie band, but this makes it all the more better because they don't perform in huga arenas, and tickets are inexpensive, sometimes even free. One word: amazing.

3. Paramore

Paramore was one of my favorite bands from the beginning. I must admit, the fact that they have a chick lead singer adds a few cool points, but their music is just plain awesome, something you don't find all the time these in bands consisting of younger people. I mean, seriously, listen to the crap they play on the radio by younger bands, then listen to Paramore. The difference is clear.

2. Green Day

Green Day is a legend, despite the fact that they are an actual band of actual people. They write music that's so different from anything these days, but yet it is so understandable, which is what makes it amazing. These guys are making original music in the time when it's most needed. But, what I think is the best thing about Green Day is that they have the ability to keep their old fans, and get thousands of new ones everytime they let out an album. When a band has let out so many albums, and still has the potential to gather even more fans everytime they let out a new one, it's amazing.

1. Panic! at the Disco

(*You may notice that the two bands tied for #1 both have black and white photos. At first, it was coincidence, but I decided it separated them from the rest of the list, so just think of it that way.)

This may sound like I'm overreacting, but I'm not. Panic! at the Disco has saved my life on more than one occasion, and I'm sure that they've saved the lives of many people, too. Their music is inspiring and I love it so much. They have changed and grown up so much as artists, and I love the way that they make their music the way that they want to. It is so great to see a band that makes music so different from anyone else, and just keeps on doing what they love, regardless of what anybody says. They are truly awesome.

1. Led Zeppelin

They haven't made music since 1980, about 15 years before I was even born, and yet I am proud to say that they are one of my number one favorite bands. Led Zeppelin is probably one of the best, if not, the best, rock band of all time. This fact is proved because every kid I have ever talked to about Led Zeppelin knows who they are. The music has lived on for thirty years, and I can assure you, it will never, ever die. All four of the members, John Bonham, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant were equally important to the band, and this is why, after Bonham's death, they could not continue. Led Zeppelin rocked the world like no one had, before, and since. Don't believe me? Listen to "Stairway to Heaven", it is possibly one of the most mindblowing rock n roll songs of all time.
