NEW BEGINNING'S by TILA TEQUILA

So I promised my Twitter follwers that I would post up a song of me singing live for them from my computer programs. Anyway, so I decided to sing this song I wrote called "NEW BEGINNING'S" because this is how I feel right now with all the chaos going on in my life! Anyway...take a listen to it and tell me if you like it. This is just a snippet and not the full song! But if u really like this song then I can put it out on Itunes for you! Let me know! Here it is:

Busy behind The scenes

You may or may not be glad to know there are no rants or soap boxes involved in this blog! (only joking Tom). I'm now a year older than when I last blogged and it's been a good couple of weeks. As you know we've been busy working on some new material (and playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox) which is starting to take shape nicely, so we will have some new songs very soon!!!

Song of the Day - Anya Marina

Anya Marina - Whatever You Like
--------------Covers can be oh- so good a little bearable ,or oh- so lame, but Anya Marina's adaptation of T.I.'s "Whatever You Like" couldn't be better. The San Diego songwriter has penned music featured on scandalous tv shows the likes of Grey's Anatomy, The Real World and Gossip Girl. So why is Marina's "Whatever You Like" everything you want? The vibe drops from playa pimp to simple seductress with Marina's coy vocals and mischeviously simple instrumentals. Check out "Whatever You Like" on this nifty Youtube clip:

Battery Using Tidbit

Battery Using Tidbit

Most battaries that favor a constant charge and recharge capacity work in two different forms. Your standard Ni-Cd or nickel cadmium battery is a slow drain slow charge type battery, a complete drain and recharge is a standard that most of us know.

Not the case with Li-Ion, the lithium Latitude D520 Battery , and newer Metal Hydroxide batteries work better and last longer using the 100-40-100-20-100-40-100-40-100-20% recharge plans. On your initial charge of 100% charging you let the battery drain to 40% and then recharge to 100% and then the second depletion to 20% and back to a full recharge cycle. This helps maintain the battery condition and in some aspects the "Brain" of the Latitude D830 Battery so to speak is set in motion and maintains battery health througout time.

I myself thought the cycle was complete depleation of the battery on each recharge which actually shortens the life of the Sony VGP-BPS5 Sony VGP-BPS5A .(learn something new everyday).

Another item to remember is that when you plug in your laptop, and the indicator says fully charged, the battery is still being used in most cases and recharging. A good note is to remove the battery while in use of a power outlet and set aside until going mobile. This will also help prolong the battery. Hope this helps anyone who may be having to replace Latitude D620 Battery often.

(P.S.) also good for cell phone usage (have had my phone for 4 years with no problems in keeping a full charge of battery life for at least 2 days, havent replaced the battery yet).

Tuesday: For Me and You's Day!

1. DIANE BIRCH

This woman is a freaking fantastic singer.  I'm totally in love with her sound.  It's very bluesy.  You have no idea how much I want her album "Bible Belt."  I've only really listened to two songs ("Rise Up" and "Nothing But A Miracle") but from what I've listened to and the stuff that I just lightly touched upon, it's fantastic stuff.

2. KINGSFOIL

Great, great, great, great guys.  I'm pretty sure that they're working on some new stuff which is exciting.  I haven't seen them in a while, but I hope to soon!  They're super good and put on an excellent show.  Check them out when you get the chance!  :)

3. COLORSPLASH CAMERA

Ughhh!  I've wanted this camera for YEARRRSSS!  It's so fabulously fantastic.  I love the images that come from it.  I'm big on color and stuff, so I'd love love love to have this.  I might end up getting it for myself.  X)

4. THE JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS MOVIE

First off, if I took EVERYTHING serious as a heart attack, I'd HAVE a heart attack.  That being said, I LOVE THIS MOVIE.  It's seriously about the corporate takeover and brain washing the youth.  It's pretty much everything that Hyde from That 70's Show is saying, just in Josie and The Pussycats form. It makes me laugh.  XD

5. PYKNIC CLOTHING

Sweet (no pun intended) clothing line.  I love their designs a whole hell of a lot.  I'm a big fan of food, so when you put it on clothing, it gives me a means of really showcasing my love of food.  Which I don't mind, haha.  Actually, I'm just a fan because I'm a fan and it's nothing more than that.  (Although, I'm not really a fan of cooking.  Never have been, never will be.  I'm the eater, not the maker of the eatery...) X)
