Museum + Science Clock
S. Florida
An interesting clock at a Science Museum in Florida.
(MODS)
Notice the circular loops and different colored balls.
Some of the loops extend around the courtyard.
FAQ: How does the Clock work?
The 52 ft. (16 m) tall clock uses gravity, water and loops,
and is scientifically designed so that a calculated number
of balls will roll through the loops / unit of time.
If you like math and science, there is a sign with more information.
(It's a kinetic energy machine with 3 sets of loops.
There are similar exhibits in Japan and Mexico.)
It's an interesting exhibit!
Many people will just stand and watch the colored balls
spin around the different sized loops.
