The 2009 MTV Movie Awards Nominations Are...

Brace yourselves, Twi-hards, because the silver screen version of Bella and Edward is up for SEVEN awards. MTV announced the full list of 2009 nominees this morning, along with two shiny new categories: "BEST SONG FROM A MOVIE" (I SEE YOU THERE PARAMORE!) and "BEST WTF MOMENT." Brilliant!

This ain't about the Academy, y'all—this year the final nominees will be determined by the fans, with voting starting TODAY on MovieAwards.MTV.com. You have until May 27th to angst over who gets their grubby mitts on a Golden Popcorn when business happens LIVE on May 31st.

The good news? Your favorite funnyman, Andy Samberg, is hosting this shindig. The press release says it all goes down at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA... but hopefully, somehow, Andy will be ON A BOAT.

Who gets your votes? Paramore is campaigning for Twilight to get best kiss. I think I'm going to go with James Franco on all counts. Because I luff him.

Oh! I saw The Reader with Kate Winslet this weekend, and I cried like 4 times. So, she gets my vote for Best Female Performance.

Who's gonna get your votes? Let's discuss.

Don't worry. Christian Bale isn't lurking.

I'm with you on the James Franco and Sean Penn-ness.

And for best comedic performance i'd have to go with Jim Carrey. I loved him in Yes Man sooo much.

I have to say, the kiss in Twilight was one of my favorite parts of the whole movie, so that's a tough one. But if Twilight or HSM3 wins best movie I will cry. But that would probably be nominated for next year's WTF moment.

Hahahaha, James Franco is basically why I would watch it if I decided to, and why I actually watched the Spiderman movies.
