Outline:

Amy and Zacky have always had the easy life - money, servents, things like that. They soon become fed up with that and both decided to move away from all of that and start over a fresh in Seattle, Washington. They soon start to attend the local high school. After about a day, Amy bumps into a girl called Beth, she then soon finds out that her and her brother were chilhood friends with Beth and her brother. After a few months, Amy falls for Beth's brother; Matt. One thing she doesn't know is that Matt hold a dark secret deep inside (he killed 16 kids in his other school). He hasn't the heart to tell Amy just yet, so he just lets it lie there. Meanwhile, Beth and Zacky make-up for long lost time and start to date again. About 6 months later, Matt has the courage to tell Amy about it all. He fears she's gonna judge him and leave him, but she doesn't she loves him with her heart and she'll never let him go. About 2 years later they get married and settle down.

Jadie's POV

Hey guys this is my new fic featuring Avenged Sevenfold. I am still writing A Little Piece Of Heaven, but I am having some trouble coming up with the next part  and it's been a while since I have posted anything. So I wrote this when I was on vacation and I'm not sure if you guys will like it. But I think it has potiential. So please read and let me know what you think dolls!!

So um, this is an Avenged Sevenfold three part short story i did for a comp on mibba a little while ago. People really seemed to like it, and i ended up starting a sequel because of that. anywho, i thought i'd chuck it on here for you guys to read. Rather then post each chapter seperately, i chucked all three on as one post. if you guys like the story, i'll start posting the sequel on here when i finish writing it.

DIVINE INTERVENTION

Chapter one: Through her Eyes (Corey's POV)

I let out a soft sigh as I saw him on the other side of the cafeteria. He was talking with his friends, and although I couldn't hear the words being exchanged, his gorgeous voice rang through my head like an alarm bell. Happiness from merely seeing him began to course through my body, and I couldn't help but stare.

That was until he glanced in my direction.

I rapidly tore my eyes from him, and forced them to take a sudden interest in my hands. I mentally scolded myself for observing him just a little too long. My head was screaming, 'Fuck Corey-Lee, if you continue to stare like that, people are going to notice.' I shut my eyes for a moment, and took in a deep breath. Once I reopened them, I picked up the apple on my tray, and bit into it.

"I saw you gawking" a familiar voice said.

I quickly looked up to see my best friend Valerie standing before me, a huge grin plastered across her pale face. She put her tray down on the table in-front of me, and then she sat down. I simply stared at her, pretending that I didn't hear her last comment.

"I saw you watching him Corey, and I'm sure everyone else did too. You were practically drooling" she chuckled before opening her can of Coke.

My face instantly began to burn up, and turned a nice scarlet colour. Val laughed even more before taking a sip of her drink.

"You um, you don't think anyone actually noticed, do you?" I questioned.

"Nah, just me. Besides, half the girls in school are constantly staring at him, so you'd blend right in."

I eased up a little, and then I said, "He um, he is a great guy after all. Anyways, I um, I don't understand why you don't like him. You're one of the popular girls, shouldn't you at least hang out with a guy like him."

She chuckled before replying with, "Babe, I like my boys to have a bit of colour. Brown like chocolate is my thing, and if you haven't noticed, Matt is very vanilla in colour."

With that comment, the pair of us burst into laughter.

As the lunch hour slowly passed, we just sat and gossiped about life. What can I say, we are teenage girls after all, we can't be judged. Every now and then I would glance across the room to Matt and his friends, and the second he looked in my direction, I snapped my head away as fast as anything.

"It appears we have an audience" Valerie said as I played with my leftover food, not actually intending to eat it.

I looked up at her before asking, "What are you talking about?"

She pointed her plastic fork in the direction she wanted me to look before she continued eating.

I turned my head, only to spot Matt, his friends, and the two biggest bitches in school, Sharn and Kayla, staring back at me. Sharn said something, and an angry frown took over Matt's face before he rapidly turned away from me.

I let out a deep breath as a strange, nervous feeling flooded my body. The look he gave me was so harsh and cold, it chilled me right to the bone. I began nervously tugging at the hair on the back of my neck.

"Corey, why are you doing that? Stop it" Val nervously snapped.

She knows it's what I do when I get really anxious. Strange, right? When people are stressed, they scream, they yell, they write, they pace. But not me, no, no, I tear my hair out, quite literally.

"Nothing, it's nothing" I insisted.

"Stop fuckin' lying to me, tell me what's wrong" she sternly said as she leaned in closer to me.

I opened my mouth to comply, and then I instantly hesitated. My body froze up as Matt's group walked past our table with Matt at the rear.

He glanced at me fiercely, before looking at his feet and mumbling, "Bitch" under his breath.

I sucked in a mouthful of air when he said it, wondering if it was in-fact directed at me. At the same time though, I was kind of hoping that he had said nothing, and that it was actually a figment of my imagination.

"What a fuckin' dick" Val hissed. "I can't believe you like a douche bag like him."

I honestly didn't want to receive a lecture at this particular moment in time, but I pressed on anyway.

"He um, he..." I began before she rudely cut me off.

"Babe, you've liked him for how long now, two years is it?"

"I suppose so" I mumbled.

"And in those two years, has he ever so much as acknowledged your presence?"

"Well, um..."

"No is the answer I'm looking for here hun. He has never even said hello to you in the halls. I think it's about time you stopped fantasising about him, and focused on a guy who knows you exist" she bluntly said.

I simply glared at her for a moment before saying, "I um, I have to go see Ms. Dupree about my tutoring. I'll um, I'll see you later."

I got to my feet and slung my bag over my shoulder when she said, "Corey, I didn't mean to sound like a bitch."

"You didn't" I lied. "I just really have to go. Text me later" I said before giving her a forced smile, and leaving.

I know people may think it's crazy that I'm in-love with a guy who knows nothing about me, a guy who I've never even had a conversation with, a guy who doesn't even know my name. And I also know that people will say that I should just give up on him and fall for someone else, for someone whom I have the ability to get. But I can't, and I won't.

'Why Corey-Lee, why the stupidity?' you may be asking.

Well, it's quite simple. I would rather spend my entire life pretending that I can have him, pretending that he's mine, admiring him from a distance, then have to forget him for one whole minute.

Chapter two: Through his eyes (Matt's POV)

"Shadows in the house."

"Rev" I said before giving him a small salute.

"Sit down man, sit down" Johnny then said.

I took a seat across from him before dropping my bag to the floor. I crossed my arms in-front of me on the table, leaning on them slightly. I shifted in my place a little so that I could see the black haired girl on the other side of the room.

I noticed her staring, but before I could smile at her, she looked away. I continued to stare at her for a moment, before letting out a sigh and averting my own gaze.

I've never told anyone, but I secretly like her. I have for a long time now. I've always wanted to talk to her, but I can never think of what to say, and I end up backing out. I know what you're thinking, 'What the fuck? Matt Sanders is too scared to talk to a girl.' I don't know why, but for some strange reason, she makes me nervous. No girl has ever made me nervous before, and that fact alone kind of scares me.

Her name is Corey-Lee Daniels. She's 17, and has a gorgeous, curvy figure; accompanied by the most beautiful face I've ever seen. To be completely honest, I'm not sure why guys aren't all over her. She's everything a guy could wish for. She has both beauty and brains. Quite the anomaly if you ask me.

I looked across at her again, and just as she had done before, she looked away.

Most of my lunch hour consisted of this, our eyes never meeting for more then a second. I felt stupid for constantly staring at her, but it's all I can ever do.

"What do you keep looking at over there?" Syn inquired.

"Um, nothing, it's nothing" I mumbled before taking a sudden interest in my hands.

He looked over his shoulder, and then back at me with a huge grin on his face, "Shadows, is there ever a time when you're not scoping out potential fun?"

The other guys all laughed in unison.

I glanced up at them for a moment, but only to let them see my annoyance. Okay, sure, I can get any girl I want, and from time to time I do 'indulge' in there company. But the guys seem to think that I fuck anything and everything in my path.

"So, which is it eh, the black or the brown?" he then asked

"Just shut up Synyster" I sternly said.

"Don't go all serious on me Matt" he replied in his usual non-serious way.

"Well why is it you think that girls are only good for sex? You know, you could take the time to get to know a girl for her personality" I quietly said.

"Personality? Pfft, please Matt" he said before leaning in a little closer to me. "I like to fuck. If I wanted less sex and more personality, I'd get a girlfriend."

I let out a frustrated groan at his comment.

"Speaking of girls..." he started before drifting off. "Here comes my next victim. Gentleman, take notes."

I looked in the direction he was to see Sharn and Kayla walking towards us.

To be honest, I really don't like these girls. They are slightly annoying. Kayla has been trying to get into Syn's pants all year. He's been playing on it the entire time. Teasing her and leading her on. Apparently it will make her ten times better when he does actually sleep with her. Something about pent up tension.

"Hey babes" he said before giving them a smile. "Want a seat?" he then added as he pat his lap.

They both let out one of those irritating little giggles before Kayla practically ran over and sat on him.

"You're looking extra good today" he said as he casually put his hand on her leg. She simply blushed, and didn't say anything. He then looked at me before asking, "Are you gonna offer Sharn a seat?"

"No, if she wants to sit down she can. There's plenty of room for her" I said in a snappy tone as I looked at Corey for about the 600th time today.

The Rev, Zacky, and Johnny sat in silence, their eyes shifting between Syn and I.

"Look Matt, unless you're going to talk to her, stop staring. It's really creepy" Syn sternly said, not even looking at my face. He was too busy staring at Kayla while he ran his hand up the inside of her thigh.

"Look Brian, you're the lord of creepy, and unless you want me to punch you in the face, I suggest you shut the fuck up" I hissed.

"Whoa, calm down Shadows" he said holding his hands out defensively. "No need to get all pissy about it, she's just a chick."

"Whatever" I mumbled.

"Who's just a chick?" Kayla asked.

"Oh, Matt's been staring at one of those girls the entire lunch hour" Johnny replied before everyone looked over at Corey and her friend Valerie.

"What, he's been gawking at Valerie William's?" Kayla then said.

"I don't know, it's one of them though" Syn responded.

Corey looked across at us.

"It must be Val, I mean, there's no way Matt Sanders would spend his lunch time gawking at Porky-Lee over there" Sharn added bitterly.

"What did you say about her" I growled, unable to control the anger that was pulsating through my entire body as I turned to look at her face.

"I said a guy like you wouldn't be gawking at a lying fat bitch like Porky-Lee" she pompously responded.

"Her name is Corey-Lee, and she is not a lying fat bitch. The only bitch I can see around here is you" I snapped.

The guys all tried to muffle their laughter. Her lip quivered a little as she tried to find the right thing to say.

"Hey, don't talk to Sharn like that, it's not her fault that girl has a reputation for being a liar" Kayla insisted. "She's the one who started telling people that Jack Grogan tried forcing himself on her, all because he didn't want her like that."

"That can't be true" I insisted. "Jack's a sleaze, I know for a fact that he probably did force himself on her."

"Whatever Matt, do what you want with her, just don't say I didn't warn you" Sharn said as she stared at her hands.

"I don't need anything from you, so just keep your mouth shut in the future" I growled at her before grabbing my bag and getting to my feet.

"Oh, are we off?" Zacky then questioned.

"Yeah" was all I said.

With that everyone got up from the table, and began walking towards the exit. Not wanting to be anywhere near the two girls that had leeched themselves onto the group, I quietly followed at the rear.

As we neared Corey and Val's table, Sharn said loud enough for me to hear, "You're an idiot for wanting a slut like her."

"Bitch" was all I could say without thumping her.

The second I got through the door, I spoke up, but only to say that I needed to do something before class, and that I'd see the guys after school. They all said bye, and I walked off in the opposite direction.

I didn't really have anything to do, but I didn't want to stand around listening to those two bitches bad mouth the one girl I've ever truly liked. Crazy, I know, to like a girl I've never even conversed with. It confuses even me, but there's not really much I can do about it. Something about her attracts me, what that something is, I'm not sure, but I hope to figure it out soon.

I was aimlessly walking down the halls, when I saw Ms. Dupree walking in my direction. I instantly let my eyes fall on the floor, and picked up my pace.

I'd been avoiding her for days now, because she wants me to tutor someone in exchange for extra credit. I know that most kids would be jumping at the opportunity for extra cred, but not me. To be honest, the only reason I'm not kicking up a shit storm about being forced into it is because I'm failing in English. Ms. Dupree said that she wouldn't phone my parents if I did this for her, and she would also make sure that I at least pass English.

Who can argue with that?

I had hoped that she wouldn't recognise me, and I had almost got by her when she said, "Mr Sanders, follow me please."

I let out a groan and rolled my eyes, before turning my body around and following her.

After a minute or so, we finally arrived at her office. She walked in and sat at her desk, before she gestured for me to also take a seat. I dropped my bag on the ground, and slouched into a chair before her. After a moment of awkward silence, she finally spoke up.

"Mr Sanders."

"Yeah" I muttered unenthusiastically.

"If you remember our agreement correctly, you are supposed to tutor another student for me in exchange for a pass mark at the end of the year."

I rolled my eyes rudely before looking back at her and letting out a sigh, "Yeah, yeah, I'm supposed to help some idiot pass. What of it?"

"Firstly Mr Sanders, don't call students that need a bit of extra help, idiots. It's not a nice comment. And if you really want to get technical, you'd be considered one of those 'idiots" she said, making finger quotes as she said the word idiot. "Secondly, the person I have chosen for you to tutor is also going to tutor you."

"What? What the hell are you talking about? I never signed up for a tutor."

"Oh, I know you didn't, this situation merely happened by chance. One of our top English students is falling behind in her Music class, something you yourself are excelling at."

I got to my feet before saying, "I'm sorry, but this is bulls..."

"Ah, perfect timing, here she is now."

I turned my head in the direction of the door, and then I froze where I was.

"Mr Sanders, you are going to be tutoring Miss Daniels for Music, and Miss Daniels will in exchange help you pass English.

I didn't say a thing. My mouth snapped shut, and all I could do was stare at the girl standing before me. The girl that I liked.

Chapter three: This is what happens when worlds collide (Third person)

The pair of teenagers simply glared at each other, both at a loss for words. Unknown to either of them, both had the exact same thought running through their minds. Both were simply thinking, 'Oh my god, what am I going to do.' Both suffered from the inability to talk to the other as nerves kept their tongues frozen. They both stopped staring at each other, and looked at Ms Dupree when they heard her voice.

"I take it from the lack of protest that we are all in agreement."

Neither said a thing.

"Good. Well then, off you go, time to study up" she said dismissing them both.

The two glanced at each other before Corey dropped her head, and walked out of the room. A moment later Matt did the same, going in the opposite direction.

The first thing Corey did was rush to find Valerie. She could not believe the chances of this happening. She swears the world was doing a sick experiment, and she was the lab rat.

She spotted Val standing in-front of her locker. She instantly ran over and grabbed Val's arm, spinning her round to see Valerie's face.

"What the hell Corey?! You scared the shit out of me."

"You will not believe what just happened" Corey said in reply.

"What happened?" Val then asked.

Corey looked around her, as if expecting Matt to sneak up behind her, before saying, "Matt Sanders is my new tutor."

Valerie's eyebrows instantly rose as she yelled at the top of her lungs, "Matt, the Matt Sanders, is tutoring you for music. You lucky bitch."

"What?!" another voice, not belonging to either girl, snapped.

Both turned to find the source. Standing before them was Kayla and Sharn.

"You're a little liar" Sharn snapped. "There is no way Matt would do something as stupid as peer-tutoring, and there is no way he'd tutor a stupid bitch like you. He hates you."

"He doesn't even know me" Corey mumbled as she tried to hold back the tears of hurt. Did Matt really hate her, she thought.

"He doesn't want to know you" Kayla then added. "He thinks you're a lying little cow for what you said about Jack. He knows you only said it cause Jack wouldn't have sex with someone scummy like you" she laughed.

Corey couldn't handle it anymore. She didn't think that Matt would believe the lies of someone like Jack. Tears sprung from her eyes as the pair of vicious girls laughed at her. She just wanted to run home. But, before she even got the chance, Val cocked back her fist, and punched Kayla in the face.

A scream could be heard before Valerie yelled, "Say that again you stupid fucking bitch, and I'll strangle the life out of you with your own extensions." She then pointed an accusing finger at Sharn before saying, "You, you're next."

Before Valerie could even close her fingers into a fist, Sharn pulled Kayla up off the floor, blood running down her front, and dragged her down the hall to safety.

Clapping could be heard before the pair of girls realised that they had an audience. Matt's friends. Brian, Zach, James and Jonathan, were staring right at them.

"Nicely done Valerie" Brian said enthusiastically. "I always like a girl who's full of fire" he then added as he looked her up and down.

"That's nice Brian, but unless you want me to rip your nuts off and shove them up your ass, I suggest you depart" she replied in a 'sweet' tone.

"Well there's a thought" he said before giving her a cheeky grin and chuckling. He then let out a sigh before saying, "If you're free tonight, come round to my place."

"And why the fuck would I do that?" Valerie questioned with her voice slightly raised, her utter annoyance coming through in her tone.

"Because I'm having a party" he informed her. "It's invite only. And um, make sure you bring her along" he said pointing at the still upset Corey-Lee, "She looks like she could do with some fun. Let's go boys" he then said before the four of them walked away.

The second they left, Val wrapped her arms around Corey and pulled her into a tight hug.

"Don't worry babe, they're a pair of bitches, just ignore what they said. It can't be true. And even if it is, it just means that he doesn't deserve a great chick like you."

Did they mean it, she worried.

Matt let out a sigh as he pushed his way through Syn's crowded house. So far he'd had two beers, and to be honest, all he wanted to do was go home. Normally he'd be drunk by now. Normally he'd play drinking games 'til four in the morning and then crash on Syn's couch. But not tonight. For some strange reason, he just wasn't in the mood. It was odd, because when Synyster had said that his Mom and Dad were going out of town again, he was over the moon knowing that it meant Syn would be throwing a party. It wasn't until the incident in Ms Dupree's office that he lost interest.

When he realised that he had to help Corey, he thought it would be a perfect opportunity to get to know her. He thought that maybe, after all the time they would need to spend together, she may like him too. He thought that maybe they could get together. But, when she dropped her head and left, it hurt him. It's like she didn't want to be anywhere near him at all.

Matt pushed his way past a guy and girl making out, and went out the door. He breathed in the night's cold air. He zipped up his hoodie, and rubbed his hands together, thinking about the cold walk home. He was about to step off the porch, when a faint sniffling could be heard. He glanced to the right, and spotted a girl huddled up on the ground about two meters away from him. At first he thought of leaving anyway. He assumed that she probably had a fight with her boyfriend inside, and just wanted time alone. It's none of his business, he thought. In the end though, his gentleman like behaviour got the better of him, and he walked over to her.

"Hey, are you okay" he asked as he crouched down beside her.

He was a little startled when her head snapped up in his direction, but quickly regained his composure when he realised who it was.

"Corey-Lee" he mumbled looking at the girl.

What he saw both upset and infuriated him. Her face was tear stained, and she had a large red mark on her left cheek. Ignoring his usual inability to speak to her, he talked.

"What happened? Who did this?" he anxiously questioned.

She stared at him for a moment, and she began fiddling with her fingers. Why did he even care, she thought. Doesn't he hate her? She wasn't sure what to say, so she didn't say anything.

"Please tell me" Matt then begged.

This question finally coaxed an answer out of Corey. "Why do you care?" she quietly said. "I thought you hate me."

Matt was completely taken aback. He couldn't believe the words that had slipped from her lips. "What, why, who, who told you that I hated you?"

"Kayla and Sharn" she responded, still playing with her fingers.

The second Matt heard those two names, he became infuriated. Those fucking bitches, he thought. How dare they.

"Don't listen to a thing they say, they're liars" he insisted. "They're just..." his mind wandered for a moment. He shook his head briefly before once again asking, "Why are you upset?"

Corey was beginning to wonder what the hell was going on. She couldn't figure out why Matt, the Matt Sanders, was talking to a no one like her. she was starting to wonder if she was in-fact talking to Matt, or if the large amount of alcohol she had consumed had gone to her head.

"Um" she began before moving her eyes to his, "I um, I got hit by Sharn because she says I wasn't invited, but I was. Brian said me and Val could come. After she hurt me I tried to find Val, but I couldn't. I looked everywhere. And now, now I'm stranded."

Matt's eyes showed a glint of anger, but they quickly returned to normal.

"I um, I was just on my way home. I can walk you, if you want" he offered.

"Oh, I um, I'm supposed to be staying at Val's, but I don't know where she is, and I can't go home like this."

The boy thought for a moment, and then the most logical thing to do came to mind. "If you want, you can spend the night at my house. My parents won't mind."

Corey gave him a sceptical look, trying to figure out what the catch was. She was a little worried about the whole situation, but to be honest, she couldn't see a way out of it. Val had probably forgotten that they were suppose to be spending the night together, and went home with some guy. She couldn't go home with alcohol on her breath. And she couldn't stay where she was or she'd freeze to death.

"Um, maybe, maybe that would be a good idea" she said.

Slightly shocked that she would actually be spending the night at his place, Matt returned to his quiet ways around the pretty girl, but only for a moment. He regained his composure, and said, "Okay" before getting to his feet.

Being the kind young man that he is, Matt helped young Corey to her feet, and then the pair walked off in the direction of Matt's home.

Matt carefully shut the bedroom door behind him before turning on a lamp. He walked over to his draws, and began digging through them. Corey simply stood examining the room in awe. The walls and ceiling were adorned in posters. Most were of bands that she didn't know, but a few she recognised, such as the ones of Guns N' Roses. She wished that she could have a room that looked just like his. A room that was so, personal.

Matt walked over to Corey and held a hand full of clothes out in-front of her before saying, "Um, these are for you to sleep in. they should fit you, but if they don't, I'm sure they'll still be more comfortable then what you're wearing."

She cautiously took the garments from his grasp, and quietly mumbled out, "Thanks."

"I'll just wait over, here" he said pointing to a corner of the room before walking over to it.

He stood with his eyes closed, waiting for her to change. He could hear the rustle of fabric as she swapped her beautiful black dress for his old boxers and AC/DC t-shirt. Guiltily, all he wanted to do was turn around and stop her putting any clothes on. He discontinued his inappropriate thoughts when he heard her say she was done. He turned to find her standing in the middle of the room, awkwardly tugging at the bottom of his shirt.

He simply marvelled at her untainted beauty for a moment, and then he said, "You um, you can take the bed. I'll just sleep on the floor."

Corey looked at the single bed that rested in the corner behind her before saying, "Are you sure, I don't mind taking the floor."

"No, no, I insist. What sort of guy would make a lady sleep on the floor?"

Corey just nodded before she walked over and climbed between his sheets, while Matt retrieved a blanket and pillow from his closet. Corey felt like she was in heaven the second her head hit the pillows. It was so incredibly soft and warm, and the knowledge that it was his bed made it that much better. Never did she ever think she'd pluck up the courage to even talk to Matt, let alone sleep in his bed. She pulled the blankets into her, breathing in his scent. She felt a little awkward when she saw him take his shirt and pants off, before lying on the floor in nothing but his boxers. She then watched him open the blanket and cover himself in it.

Corey felt bad when she saw him tossing and turning on the hard floor, trying to find a comfortable position to sleep in. She thought to herself for a moment, and then she opened her mouth to quietly say, "Matt, isn't it uncomfortable down there?"

"Na, I'm fine" he lied. It was actually the most uncomfortable he had ever been, but it's not like he was going to make her sleep on the ground. What sort of dick would do that, he thought.

"Oh, well, I was just going to say that that we could share the bed, if you wanted. I'm sure we could both fit" she quietly mumbled.

Matt's heart began to beat uncontrollably in his chest when he heard those words. The thought of the girl he's wanted for almost a year now sleeping in his bed made him happier then he's ever been, but the thought of sleeping in there with her made him want her so badly. Once again, he discontinued his thoughts, and got to his feet. He cautiously walked towards the bed.

Corey shuffled over when he reached down and grasped the edge of the covers. He lifted them up slightly, and climbed in next to the young girl. Corey's heart speed up when his skin brushed against hers. Little did she know that his was doing the same. The pair shuffled around a little more as they tried to get comfortable, but it was seemingly impossible. Matt decided that it might be better if he lay on his side, so he did.
