Who's Ready For A New Disney Princess?

As someone who listens to the Little Mermaid soundtrack every Sunday and watched Enchanted every day for the week that I rented it, I can say with absolute certainty that I can't wait to see The Princess and The Frog.

If you live under a rock--or just don't keep up with your impending animated features--PATF is a fairy tale centered on a young girl named Princess Tiana who lives in New Orleans' French Quarter during the Jazz Age. (IMDB) Cue the trailer!

It'll be hitting all theaters on December 11th. I don't know if you've seen any previews for it, but those of you in L.A. and NYC can participate in this rad package deal thing the week before it comes out, if you're into it. Let me show you:

NYC people, your package deal is slightly different--check it out here. Sounds rad, no? I know, seems like a kid thing but I'd still be like "lemme see those props!" and I'd have a chat with Cinderella. I always wanted her gig but I was under the Disneyland height requirement. ANYWAY.

Find out more about it or lock down your tickets by going to their facebook fan page and clicking "Exclusives" or go directly to this link.

I think this movie is going to fit in perfectly with all it's predecessor princess movies! What about you?

I'm going to a screening in a couple months, woo!

I've read the Brothers Grimm version of this story and I can't think of it the same way anymore. *shudders*

I think this movie looks kind of dumb, but Disney isn't really my thing. I prefer children's movies like Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland and The Princess and the Goblin.

although it can't compare to the original disney princesses...i'm still pretty pumped.
haha i seriously laughed out loud at the one part in the trailer you posted when the crocidile was like "i want fingers and toes and....and...a belly button! not the kind that sticks out but the kind that goes in...and...". that was hilar. haha. love it.
