Drawing influence from sources as diverse as Sunny Day Real Estate and The Flaming Lips, Minneapolis-based Motion City Soundtrack exhibits an unconventional approach to pop punk. Produced by legend of the genre, Mark Hoppus, the group's 2006 release, Commit This to Memory, is a sweet taste of what the band is capable of.
