Today my sister and I took our dad to the Indians game for fathers day.  Now lemme' preface this by saying I do believe the team's name is racist as well as the logo and the urban legend of the team being named after Louis Sockalexis is just that.  A LEGEND.  But my Summer's were spent going to games at the old stadium with my dad.  So I have a soft spot for Cleveland Baseball.  Anyways, during the seventh innning stretch before singing "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" Major League Baseball has the fans sing "God Bless America".  Here's my problem with this, besides the fact that it alienates part of the population of the U.S. (this coming from a practicing Catholic) people also treat it like the National Anthem.  I was probably one of the few people in my section sitting for it and I also observed many people having their hands over their hearts.  What the hell?  I think Tom Morello said it best in this video.
