I'm going back to Uganda the first 2 weeks of June. When there I work with an AIDS program. I am leading this trip & taking a woman from my church & my supervisor from my work at a refugee resettlement agency. The past 2 times I have gone to Uganda I wrote letters to family & friends asking for prayers & donations and from those letters raised over enough money to go & was able to donate the extra money to the program in Africa which turned out to be an answered prayer. I feel bad asking the same people for money again & so I am not writing letters this time. My church is doing a couple fundraisers for us but I'm pretty sure it won't come near the cost of the trip so I'm wondering if any of you would be interesting in donating. The money would be divided among the 3 of us going & not just go to my part of the trip & any extra raised would go towards the AIDS program. The plane tickets alone are about $2,000, then we have the cost of room & board & travel while in Uganda as well as Visas, malaria medicine, & immunizations. If you would be willing to donate any amount let me know & I will privately send you an address that you can send it to. Even if you can't donate, thoughts & prayers are greatly appreciated! & if you want anymore info just let me know!
