Now is not the time for idle threats, my friends. Now is not the time for patience or excuses.
It is almost the end of 2009 and we still do not have a new My Chemical Romance CD. We have put up with update after update from the band during their studio time, yet we still do not have a follow-up to The Black Parade. I cannot deal with this anymore. This is a matter of dire consequence.Read on...

I thought I may aswell do a blog as I haven't done one in like a month. It seems like everything's falling into place at the moment. I'm leaving Canberra at the end of the year and returning to Cairns to finish my last two years of highschool. I'll be boarding with family friend's which I'm really happy about. This last term of school seems to be weighing heavily on me. Assignment work piling up like you can't even imagine. I'm struggling to get it all together. I have to keep telling myself, just 1 more term. Then I'm freeeeee. :) Oh and Soundwave next year aswell. The second line-up announcement was very pleasing indeed. Placebo, Motion City Soundtrack etc. Yeahhhhh. There's still a final announcement to come. Should be huge!

Ohk, in other news...Joe Jonas' new haircut. O___O Very pleasing, very pleasing indeed. With slight variation, it's safe to say - the Joehawk is back. :D He looks so good, his age. Maybe it's just me but I feel like Joe is branching out recently. Slightly distancing himself from the whole Disney, Jonas Brothers thing and showing us he is actually an individual. I like it. I'm not sure how I feel about the rumours of him buying his own place though... Hahaha, maybe that's a little to much distancing. But it's all good..he seems to be growing up.

In more Jonas Brothers related news. BOUNCE! That was such an epic win. I was so pleasantly surprised that Nick was the main focus. Once and for all displaying to us his sense of humour, which DOES EXIST. :L I've watched/listened to it so many times. It's nice to have the boys make a video just for fun and not for promotional reasons. It didn't even include any sort of promotion in it, unlike Joe's single ladies dance video. I think the fans appreciated it more then they'll ever know.

Ohk I think that's about all except I'll do my favourite things list -
Fave Celeb Outfit: Miley Cyrus

Fave Movie: Funny People

Fave YouTube Video: Bounce - Jonas Brothers (betcha didn't see that one coming..)

Fave Song: Moonlight Sonata - Beethoven

Fave TV Show: Glee!!!! (it's sooooo addictive)

Fave Person: Demi Lovato (I swear this girl gets prettier each time I see her?!?)

Oooohk, I think that's about it. :)

SO much has been changing lately,
it seems as if every Fall, its out with the old and in with the new,
well now with my new bf things seem to be getting wierd, but it may just be because im paranoid, grrr, ya not gonna go into that...
but im fine ill deal with it, things will hopefully get better.
now im enrolled in college, im actually taking it online, im going to get my Bachelors Degree and Major in Fashion Merchandising.
yay... finally getting my life together.
Most people crave food, some crave boys.... I crave clothes!!!! true fact.
blah blah... i am so boring haha.
anyways i wanted to write a journal expressing my opinion and thoughts on this one subject that ive been thinking about for weeks now.
Fashion lately is so plain and boring, its the same thing everywhere, i used to think its just the small town where i live at {that things were only plain and boring here} but now i realize its everywhere.
Sometimes getting things plain and boring can be a good thing because it just gives you more of a reason to make it yourself, and accesorize it your way. but on the other hand MOST people will still end up looking boring and just like everyone else.
Everyone is unique in their own special way, but do we all have to conform ourselves all to look the same??? seriously. grrrr.
Its ridiculous how now so many celebrities are coming out with new lines, clothing/perfume lines.
i think most people do it because of this whole beccoming a fashion designer fad or to have the label of being a "fashion designer", it kinda upsets me because whoever it is will have gorgeous outfits in life but their designs are so plain.
For example Miley Cyrus, i personally love all of her Hannah Montana clothes,
so i would expect her lines to be kinda inspired around that style-ish. But they arent, they are just normal type stuff that would blend in with the rest of the racks at the store.
no offense to her or anything.
at least with Selena Gomez's line it has her style incorporated with it.
I will admit i love Brittney Spears and Paris Hiltons perfumes, so that is talent right there, hahahaha, but stillll.
I could understand with how shitty our economy has been lately that everyone wants to make "come-backs" and "lines" out for everything to make money,
but its like if there isnt any talent with those lines, its not worth it, even tho most people will just buy it for the name on it.
But it just makes all the underdogs with tons of talent have to work so much harder grrrr.
I know im probably nowhere even close with my designing,
but i am talented compared to a lot of the "fashion designers" out there,
i mostly do it for fun, cuz im veryyyy passionate about it, even tho i will be getting a photographer soon so i can "model" some of the clothes/handbags/accessories that i have made. and maybe come out with a new line on ebay or something haha.... just to make some money to help pay for school... i dont know... probably not, but who knows anymore.
anyways, thats it for now, i might add more later and some pics too,

well, not entirely important. but super cool fo sho.
So as many of you may know, I'm a choir kid. A gLeek. Various other choral child references.
Unlike last year, however, I have moved on to bigger and better things. No longer in beginning women's ensemble, I have graduated into the advanced women's ensemble, more commonly known as soundtraX(yes, the x is capitalized on purpose.)
In addition to being in a higher choir, two of my friends and I are the VMC's of this group. Now what is a VMC you may ask? Well, VMC stands for vocal music council. similar to ASB, except for choir(i'm assuming you all know what asb is).
Now this is kind of a huge deal for a sophmore. It's been some time since a sophmore has been a co-president of soundtraX, let alone any other choir at my high school. So it's extremely cool to have so much influence and power in such a short amount of time.
However, being VMC is not the reason why I am writing this journal. Therefore I have interviewed myself(similar to Jamie's journal here) to explain why I am posting here on Buzznet(which i never seem to do).
So Crystal, why are you posting a journal about choir?
Well reader(although I'm sure only 5 of you are reading which is LAME) I am posting this journal to tell you guys that I AM GOING TO NASHVILLE!
No way! When?!
Spring break. I can't remember the exact dates although I'm sure I'll find out if someone asks me.
Woo! Going to Nashville! Does this mean you'll meet PARAMORE??!????!!!!!11111
Sorry, but no. Probably not. That'd be chill though!
Wait...so then why are you going to Nashville?
Choir Nationals!!! Now some of you are probably thinking, "o wateva, shes goin to nashunals. who cares?"
HOWEVER. this is a huge deal. My high school's choir has never gone to nationals before. At least not that i know of. Nationals is like Choir Olympics or something. So yeah, huge deal.
Awesomesauce! So then where will you guys be performing in Nashville?
I kid you not, we will be performing at the Grand Ole Opry.
THE GRAND OLE FUCKING OPRY.
*hyperventilates*
OH MY GOD!
I KNOW!
Did you know that Miley Cyrus has never performed at the Grand Ole Opry before?
Why yes, reader. I did know that.
Does this mean you are cooler and better than Miley Cyrus?
Precisely, my friend.
How long will you be there?
For 4 days and 3 nights. :)
Does this mean you will be gone from Buzznet?
Yes. :(
I'll probably check this site on my iPod but not often.
But no fear! I'll be updating my twitter regularly.
And if you aren't following me, well....you're not that cool are you? (don't worry, I'm only kidding. mostly.)
Will you bring me back a t-shirt?!
um, no.
Is there anything else you'd like to share with us?
Why yes, thank you for asking. :)
Being a VMC includes the responsibility of keeping the choir tamed and obedient(to an extent). It also includes receiving the awards when we go to competitions and place(i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.).
So basically, if we place(which i sincerely hope we do) at nationals, my two friends and I will go get the trophy(or plaque, i do not know what they will be awarding to us) on the stage of the GRAND OLE OPRY by ourselves. Exciting?! I think so.
IN CONCLUSION: I am going to be a part of one of the largest show choir events since Glee. Pretty cool? I think so. We might even get tv airtime. You never know.
I am so ridiculously stoked for this trip, you have no idea.
SEE YOU IN NASHVILLE!
well, not really.
Bye guise!
-Crystal

What's in a picture? A story? A conversation, perhaps? A bowl of oatmeal? If the latter is true, then I'm getting ripped off! I get sent thousands of pictures every week and I never get oatmeal! Maybe next week... Until then, I'm going to stick with what I know: picture analysis. I can find the hidden meaning in almost any picture. If you don't believe me, believe me, you are wrong. If you believe me, you're wrong. You're just wrong.

Well, you all now that the most of Miley's tweets were very poetic, but now she won't tell us about her life in lyrical form. She was really into the 140-words-world and she tweeted every day. She loved to stay in contact with her fans and her family. But now she's out! She deleted her Twitter account today, because her friend Liam wanted her to delete her account.

Miley: "Liam doesn't have a twitter and he wants me to delete mine with good reason."
I think this is very stupid of Liam, just because he hasn't got a twitter account, he wants Miley to delete her one? Whatever this reason is, Miley miss the updates of the Twitter world. And btw. mommytish deleted also her account. We don't know why but this is all very strange and very unexcepted.
Well, what you think? Should Miley gets her account back or should she be out of Twitter forever and why you think that?
xoxo jenny

Holllyyyy crap! I just saw Metro Station's new music video for Kelsey - FINALLY. It was a dodgy recording someone had taken while watching it on tv but still, I saw it. Mason looked sooooo good. SOOOOOO GOOD. I'm so glad the spotlight was on him for pretty well the entire video, as it is predominately his song. But also. I'm so jealous, haha. The kissing scene with the Kelsey character, I was preeeetty envious. :P Sorry I can't deliver a slightly more coherent opinion of it. I'm kind of stumped, I literally JUST watched it. It was really sweet, and Mason looked absolutely amazing. Especially the bits where he's sitting on the couch with his guitar. *drools* Hahaaha. But then it was sad at the end, where she just ran off. Who in there right mind would do that?!?!!? XD It might take me a few more views to come up with something a little better then that. That's about all I got on it for now..

Also in more Metro Station news....NEW MUSIC!!! Yessssssss. This was definately needed. I think I've out played all there current songs so I can't wait to hear something new. The new songs are called "Time To Play" and "Japanese Girl", JAPANESE GIRL!!!! I hope I'm not the only one that remembers that song from the video of Mason and Trace jamming on their tour bus together. Bah, so exciting! So they'll be releasing those songs aswell as an acoutic cover and remix of Kelsey on their "Kelsey EP", October 6th on iTunes. I can't wait.
Equally exciting, Ant Cam 9 was put up on their YouTube channel a couple days ago. This one is much better and much longer then Ant Cam 8. I might post it on my Buzznet but in the meantime hit up their YouTube channel and watch it. It's footage from their time in the Philippines and Britain. Preee funn-aye.
...a picture from one of their most recent photoshoots. Enjoy. :)
The guys are currently on tour with Miley and I haven't really gotten the chance to check out any footage from the show yet. Definately have to make some time for it. However, I have seen the music video they're showing at the concerts while the guys perform Shake It. Miley Cyrus and various professional dancers pimping out Miley's clothing line while dancing to the song. It's kinda cool I guess? Haha. I'd rather see Mason up there shakin' his thanngggg. Yes. I did just say "thang" XD

I wouldn't exactly consider myself new to Buzznet.. but I've never invested as much time in it as with my other online profiles.. So, I'm just going off on a tangent for a minute or two, maybe it'll put an end to my writer's block.. I hope you don't mind.
I have a feeling that Disney is close to taking over the world.. it already dominates the entertainment industry. Of course I'm completely in love with all the Walt Disney classics.. but current Disney, the likes of Disney channel.. I don't understand it. It's not exactly what you'd call quality television yet the DCOM's, shows and albums not to mention the popstars it creates are worth billions. What exactly goes on? Do they just say, "Hey look, there's another naive, Christian girl from the South who we can exploit. Give her fame and fortune in exchange for her soul"? I don't know, but it makes me kind of sick.

Today I procrastinated more than anything. I really should have taken the time to write my thousand word English oral presentation that's due Monday, which the last year of my education is relying on. I really can't be fucked.. I hate speaking in public. Even when I'm talking to a group of people, I'll be half way through telling a story or some sort, and then I freak out when I realise people are actually listening! Pretty stupid right?
Anyway, tomorrow I'm going into the city to meet up with my friend Sin. Better make the most of the holidays. Although I can't wait for Summer! xx.

I was fortunate enough to attend the Wonder World Tour in Anaheim, CA on 9/23/09. It was an amazing show - it surpassed my expectations and is one of the best concerts I've been to all year.
Metrostation opened the show with poppy dance-rock numbers that got the audience on their feet. I was impressed with Trace's ability to get the crowd going. I don't know about you, but at first glance he didn't exactly strike me as such an outgoing, animated guy.

Mason sounded great too, and I really enjoyed their set. Before the show, I was on the fence about them (I mean, who doesn't like Shake It?), but this show definitely made me a fan.
Of course, Miley was the main attraction of the night. She started off the show with a grand entrance, opening with "Breakout," the title song off of her latest album.

The whole show was visually amazing. Not only did Miley's vocals sound great, but her showmanship is quite something. Though she had a huge entourage of dancers and the effects were well done, she carried herself well and really owned the stage.

One of my favorite parts of the show was when she covered "I Love Rock n' Roll." She got on a motorcycle and floated above the crowd as she belted out the song.

I loved her song choices, from the slow ballads to the upbeat favorites. It was the perfect balance, in my opinion. Her voice sounded 10 times better than on the album in most cases, especially during the slower songs.

If I had one complaint, it would be the complaint that most people make about Miley. At times, she really got carried away with trying to be sexy and I think it became inappropriate and over the top. She has a lot of young fans and I'm not sure their parents will want them acting like that. Booty shorts + low cut top + bending over + squatting = compromising situations and pictures.
But after all of the booty shaking, Miley ended the show perfectly with "The Climb." Man, that song is amazing live.

And like I said, I had quite low expectations and they were definitely surpassed. I only recently started liking Miley this past year, and seeing her live definitely made me a big fan.
xoxo
