Terrifiying New Shutter Island Trailer

We have been watching this trailer on repeat for the last ten minutes and, if it is anything to go by, the movie will be absolutely terrifying. But, then again, since when does Martin Scorcese disappoint?

The second trailer reveals a lot more of the storyline, more shocks, more of the various inmates at the mental hospital. It's exactly the kind of second trailer any film should have. Our only complaint is that Shutter Island doesn't come out until 19th February 2010; not because we're going to see it, but because it'll miss out on the Oscars, and is the first Scorcese film to do so. It would, arguably, have been one of the favourites to win numerous awards on the night.

Oh, well. You can't have everything.

This poem was written in light of recent emotional pulls involving the death of Heath Ledger. While his death happened some six months ago the true weight of what was lost and how his death has affected people hadn't hit me until I had the chance to see his last completed film, 'The Dark Knight'. So, this poem is dedicated to one of the greatest actors of our generation. One who was taken from his loved ones tragically and far too soon. I hope that his daughter, Matilda, and former partner, Michelle, both know that he is watching over them wherever he is. My whole heart wishes I could give you back to your daughter...RIP...1979 - 2008...

 

I beg the stars above and the sky which holds them close...

To shine a little softer and grant my wish to let you go...

If not forever at least a moment for that is all I'd need...

Then I could die in your arms and we could rest in peace...

 

I don't want you back on earth and I think it's safe to say...

For starters, conflicting reports on my love, the dearly departed Heath's ex-something Michele Williams having issues with his family.

I personally think its somewhere in between.  Maybe there is tension, but she wasn't with him anymore at the time of his death, why would she be attending the premier?  His parents makes sense, but not her.  Maybe she just would like to be allowed to raise his child in peace...

Maybe people should leave her alone to grieve the death of someone she once loved enough to bare a child and allow her to raise said child in peace, with a chance to focus on her acting.  Although the daughter does look JUST like Heath, that's got to be rough.

The neked cowboy is suing M'n'M's for copy wright infringement.  The Blue one did a few commercials dressed like the Manhattan fixture, and so now they're being sued for using his "likeness" ish, without permission.  I kind of hope he wins...

Amy Winehouse, still a moron.  After being diagnosed with emphysema-ish, she gets out of the hospital for a like, thirty second and already has lit up again.  Aug.  I mean, sure, I smoke, but if they were like 'hey lung scarign which might lead to you getting emphysema' I'd quit.  Although if someone ever went to hand me a crack pipe I'd probaly respond with "you're f*cking kidding me right?"... I mean the former addicts I know always go "hell I've done everything but cracked is f*cked up man..."... that, my friend, is a bad sign.

Don "I'm a racist hick" Imus has been back on the air for less than a year, after being fired over racist comments made about a black female basketball team, is in trouble again for being a racist. 

But Imus claims he's being taking out of context and that he was really defending Jones, and that his comment was simply in reference to him being picked on for being black.  Right, you keep telling yourself that.

Simon Cowell gave Randy Jackson a sword for his birthday.  That was just weird enough to be reported on (source).
