to one of the most epic locations I've ever visited/utilized for a shoot
in my squillion-and-one years of playing around with cameras (on either side):
a gorgeous Victorian Cathedral whose innards have been licked by flames, though the external structure still stands—enigmatic and imperious, mid-town(e)
There upon my visit to Burlington, Iowa--snickered about by more than a pal or two here in Los Angeles with no basis other than it sounds as if it'd have a 'bit of the reddened neck'--I discovered the state's got one up on Ye Olde Proverbial Left/Liberal/Blue CA...
There is no debate over Prop 8/H8 in their jurisdiction, as [COUGH!] "Gay"* [COUGH!] marriage is legal.
I suppose this photograph also serves as a 'still' for the video footage captured by

no doubt in some twisted stage of incubation as my fingers navigate 'round this keyboard here in Silverlake

And insofar as the asterisk after "gay"? Simple explanation: it's not my favorite choice insofar as nomenclature goes...
