I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again, humans love to hate as much as they love to love (Probably More). Luckily, there are things out there definitely worth hating, particularly in music. In the interests of providing you a forum to spout your loathing of certain embarrassments in the music industry, we bring you the Second Annual Buzznet Music Razzies, nominated and voted by you in several unique categories. You all told us who you wanted to vote on , and here is your first category: Get a Day Job, Don’t Quit It (Worst Artist/Band)
DISCLAIMER: YOU ARE THE ONES WHO CHOOSE WHO IS NOMINATED. NOT ME. JUST BECAUSE I PUT SOMEONE IN, IT DOES NOT MEAN I ACTUALLY HAVE A NEGATIVE OPINION OF THE ARTIST/SONG/WHATEVER. THESE POLLS DO NOT REFLECT MY OWN PERSONAL FEELINGS OR TASTES. ANYBODY WHO FAILS TO NOTE THIS AND MAKES A COMMENT ALONG THE LINES OF INSULTING OR THREATENING FOR HAVING SO AND SO IN THE POLL IMMEDIATELY ACCEPTS THE TITLE OF “ILLITERATE TEENYBOPPER” AND FORFEITS THEIR RIGHT TO COMPLAIN WHEN PEOPLE RESPOND TO THEM WITH VARIOUS MACROS. THE SAME GOES FOR PEOPLE WHO INSULT OTHERS FOR NOT LIKING SOMETHING. IF YOU’RE UPSET SOMETHING YOU LIKE IS NOMINATED, SAY SO, BUT DO NOT SAY NASTY THINGS ABOUT PEOPLE FOR HAVING DIFFERENT PREFERENCES. YOU DON’T HAVE TO LIKE IT OR PRETEND YOU DO. JUST TOLERATE IT. THIS DISCLAIMER WILL BE ON THE TOP OF EVERY POLL AND SO IF YOU NEGLECT TO READ IT, WELL, YOUR FAULT.
If you wish to submit your own candidates for nomination, go here.
I've recently heard the song and watched for Maroon 5's "If I Never See Your Face Again"
and i'm sorry to Rihanna fans but I Love the song the way it was. before Rihanna.
What do you guys think?
which one do you like best?
Five of your favorite rock bands are competing for the Best Group Award at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards. You may love them all...but only one can win!
Almost every summer invariably has one song that in years after, people associate with that summer.
2003 was definitely the summer of Crazy In Love.
2005 is a bit tougher to call, because there was no massive dance/R&B hit like usual.
But I probably look back on it as James Blunt's You're Beautiful's summer sadly, Daniel Powter's Bad Day probably also has a strong case (Don't Cha probably would have been had it not been released so late).
Last summer definitely belonged to Shakira with Hips Don't Lie,
So does anyone have any predictions for this summer? I think the most likely atm is sadly Rihanna's Umbrella ( ), though I actually wouldn't rule out Maroon 5's Make Me Wonder...
