Crudup joins Mann's 'Public Enemies'

Billy Crudup has joined Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, Channing Tatum and Marion Cotillard in Michael Mann's drama "Public Enemies" for Universal. Crudup will be portraying FBI director J. Edgar Hoover. The 30's period film follows the Feds as they try to take down notorious American gangsters John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson and Pretty Boy Floyd during a booming crime wave in the 1930s.
