Marilyn Manson Has The Swine Flu

Nope, not a joke. His royal freakiness has been diagnosed but a real MD. Oh no, will he live?

crappy haiku movie review of the week - party monster

as we all know, there's no shortage of movie review sites out there on the web. but who among us hasn't longed for movie reviews in the form of really crappily done japanese poetry? i know i sure have!

so once a week, i'll be dedicating a journal entry to a movie review in the form of a really crappy haiku.

this week's movie stars macaulay culkin as incarcerated nightclub promoter michael alig. as i watched the movie last week, i was struck by the many similarities between this film and culkin's previous work, home alone. both films deal with culkin's unique ways of dealing with criminals. in home alone, culkin's rambunctious kevin mcallister uses his wits and an assortment of wacky booby traps to thwart a couple of dim-witted burglars, often with hilarious results. and in this film, he chops up a drug dealer and throws him in the river. likewise, home alone featured a memorable cameo by john candy playing a friendly polka musician. and in this film, rock star marilyn manson makes a memorable cameo wearing fake boobs and a skirt. so why they didn't just call this movie home alone 5: how to dump the body is beyond me.

- it's party monster!

party monster

that home alone kid

chops a drug dealer to bits

manson has boobies

the end

p.s. feel free to hit me up with any suggestions, and you might just get to see one of your favorite movies summed up in a really crappy haiku...

To Brian Hugh Warner

Through my eyes

I find myself as yesterday - as any day,

nothing special to be seen.

Through your eyes

I find myself beautiful and new.

So just for today

I'm switching

right to brown-green,

and left to white-blue.
