Young Internet Singers: Should Certain Songs be Banned for Their Age Range?
With the Internet at our fingertips, singers and musicians are getting discovered on a daily basis ... But is an 11-year-old boy singing Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson songs even appropriate for the Web?
Take a look at these two videos and discuss whether this young pre-teen should be allowed to sing these types of 'adult' songs. Is this a representation of the youth today and the impact sexual lyrics can have on their impressionable minds ... or is it just cute?
"Touch My Body" by Mariah Carey
"Damaged" by Danity Kane and "Feedback" by Janet Jackson
Sooo ... what do you think!?

where are his parents and why is he making videos on youtube at such a young age
It's just music, the kid is just singing. I think it's extreme to say a song should be "banned" or that a child should not be allowed to sing certain songs.
That kid was so fuckin' funny though..
it's a little weird and somewhat inappropriate for little kids to sing certain songs but it's definitely not ban-worthy.
when i was younger, i sang britney spears songs,
& there was profanity in them.
But yeah maybe he should try singing something else.. like? barbie girl. 'Im a barbie girl in a barbie world lalala... but even that has its dangers. everything does.
And if you ban these songs, what else can the kid sings to? Folk? Hannah Montana? Gosepel? Christain songs?
:o I was thinking the same thing, but didn't feel like saying it!
