oh this is one of my favorite interviews of them :) it's all about the leopard print coats for me.

aww so much to say about this vid...
first, that guy that speaks at the beginning is french (antoine de caunes, he's called) and i freaking love him, he's brilliant.
what i love the most are these pictures of leopard print in the snow or in these bleak welsh streets, it's just pure manics. it's almost poetic in itself.
i also love the way they look so young, so fragile, almost insecure. i like to see vids of them when they were my age, it makes them more... human, in a way.
and richey is bloody beautiful.
and when i look at them and listened to them, i realise how most of contemporary bands are tasteless and generic these days. aside from mcr and a few others, i really can't find so much passion and integrity in bands that the nme and radio1 try to sell me.

Hey that's not true. There's for example um... and also... and.... ok you're right. At least compared to the Manics most if not every new band is plain weak.
