November 26, 2009Black Friday: Seven Songs to Fuel the Commercial SensationBlack Friday: ------Look at that line for Target! If I wanted a plasma screen TV for 30 bucks or a jade tupperwear organizer, I'd go to Ebay on any given Sunday rather than Black Friday. I've heard people brave the midnight doorbusters for the "experience" and "people watching." If you want to know what the world will look like before its end, it's probably this. If you have decided to save big and waste time standing in line for a couple of hours, you should start it off right with some essential, get-in-the-zone-for-shopping playlist. 1. Billy Bragg - The Busy Girl Buys Beauty **This punky alliteration tells a tale between the babe and the broad, the one who buys whatever satisfies her material heart and the lonely lady who can't rub two pennies together for a pair of Doc Martens. 2. Barrett Strong - Money (That's What I Want) **Black Friday may not be the cup of tea you wanted to chug before heading out the door at 2 a.m. Strong knows the pain of being broke and still having to spend (especially on the opposite sex). Fellas, you've got an empty-walleted friend in "Money (That's What I Want)." 3. The Steve Miller Band - Take the Money and Run **Screw buying crap - why not just rob and run? The heartland boys of Steve Miller seem to be alright with it, but I'd make sure you aren't around any mall cops if you're planning on playing a Friday Bonnie and Clyde. 4. Sublime - Pawn Shop **Maybe your Black Friday involves buying something you can't find on a shelf, but more likely in a pocket. The six-minute sketcher is perfect if you're feeling pretty damn mellow about your newest purchase. 5. Lil' Wayne feat. T Pain - Got Money **Probably the track you want to play right before bursting through the push or automatic doors. "Got Money" is thug pop at its prime with a whole lot of ego, and you'll be taking it out of your pocket all day long for your steals and deals. When you're buying a 50-pack of toilet paper, why not feel a little fresher? 6. Madonna - Material Girl ** Why wouldn't you put the anthem of all 80's shopping songs on this mix?! Many think Madge was on to something when she said the boy with the cold hard cash is always Mr. Right. Even if you hate the message, you can't hate the bitchin' beats from "Material Girl." 7. Kanye West feat. Jamie Foxx - Gold Digger **At the end of the day, money curses us all, and if we can't see the magic being cast from it, we'll be spellbound for life. West and Foxx are more than jaded by the ladies with too much to ask for, hence the sampling of Ray Charle's "I Got a Woman" to create "Gold Digger." Boys, buena suerte on Black Friday, especially if you're being dragged along by your lady to hold the purse and swipe the plastic.

September 14, 2009VMA's
So last night were the VMA’s, and that’s what everyone seems to be talking about, to be honest I didn’t know it was on so I didn’t watch it. Until today I watched and saw everything that went down tehe. The whole Taylor- Kanye thing really pissed me off, seriously he just ruined himself right there. That was so rude and Taylor Swift did NOT deserve that at all. She is still new to all of this and that was a very important special moment to her. How did Kanye West even get on stage? Ok nothing against Beyonce or anything but her video wasn’t as good as Taylor Swifts, Beyonce is very talented and everything but there wasn’t anything special about her video. Taylors videos come with a story and creates feelings, it made me cry, her video was the sweetest thing ive ever seen lol. As for Beyonce her video was just dancing, yes she is talented when it comes to that, but it was just so bland and felt like it was gonna go on forever. And she is a good singer/dancer and all but her voice gets old real fast. Ughhh. I don’t mean to offend anyone! But anyways since Taylor only won the “best female video of the year” award and Beyonce won the “best video of the year” award anyways, Kanye should feel pretty stupid for makn an ass out of himself when Beyonce ended up winning an even bigger award. But it was veryyyyy sweet of Beyonce to let Taylor finish her speech. That makes me smile^^. Anyways Lady GaGa is truly amazing and talented, her performance blew me away. I cant stop watching it, she is a true entertainment fashion genius. I just cant get enough of her lol. My mum even lovedddddd her music video and performance for this song, it has great deepness, and political statements. We were both highly impressed.
Sorry I suck at describing things, grrrrrr. Also Madonna's speech was amazing!!!!!!! It made me cry. R.I.P. Michael Jackson. It is true, you never truly know what you have till its gone. wayyyy too many people take things for granted. All my life it seems as if everyone has taken me for granted and never would truly see or appreciate me for all the good ive done. Well theres been a lot of people in my life who have taken me for granted, then i got rid of them, when i wasnt around anymore they came back to me beggin almost, cuz well they realized I was the only one who truly did care about them, yet they would always toss me to the curb. Then whenever i take someone back who took me for granted, they would appreciate me for awhile then go back to old ways. I guess its once someones dead and truly gone forever then you realize and i mean like really truly REALIZE what you had and how that will never happen again. SO appreciate everyone and everything in your life, try not to focus so much on all the negativity and your past, cuz whats done is done and its gone, and you never know what can happen in an instant. Focus on all the positive things in your life, and dont take anything or anyone for granted, cuz you never know what tomarrow may bring. Everyone has problems, noone has had a just peachy life, {even tho it may seem like it fer some ppl}, everyone goes thru stuff, your not the only one with issues. There is always something worse that could have happened. SO just focus on all the postive things in your life, what you have rather instead of focusing on all the things you dont have!!! Sorry i hope i didnt offend anyone, and i hope i got my points across, freedom of speech, everyone has their own opinions, and these are just mine so chill! <3 Peace and Purple xoxox Mercade Mascara

The lack of trust leaves room for lust
School has started and I'm already over it. It's not really school in general, mostly the immature pricks that make up my high school. I'm tired of having to be around them all. Drives me absolutely bonkers! But on the bright side, it's SENIOR YEAR! woo hoo:D Livin' it up, risk it all, no regrets. Let's see...What's going on in the buzznet world? Oh have you heard of Marialia? If you haven't, check that missy out. She's an amazing designer. I entered one of her contests and I was one of the winners so she's going to make me a hair accessory! I'm super stoked on that. Cannot wait to see how it turns out<3 She's incredible so I know it'll turn out uber rad. Go to: marialiaxo.com to check out her line. What was your favorite part of the VMA's?

September 13, 2009"Its a Nice Day for a White Wedding"Apologies for any updates lately. I've been so busy with so much. School is getting tricky. But I know I can manage it. I'm on the sick side and all I wanna do is be lazy. Went to a Greek wedding yesterday. Those things are very religious, but then again...what wedding isn't? Or just completley isn't? The only thing I can think of is Vegas Weddings. I always thought those were interesting. I don't want a traditional wedding. Well, I do...just not too traditional. I want my fathter to give me away just maybe almost halfway down the isle. I guess to show that I can be an independant person. I definately do not want to get married in a church. Like I just said, I'm not very religious. Just enough to get married. I want everything to be white. Even my bridesmaid dresses. White flowers, White drapes, Vanilla Candles. The guys can wear black tuxes and white vests, ties and those little pin things. I can't remember the name of those things. If anyone knows what they're called, please let me know!!! The reception was the best part of the night. It started off with greek music, then with some Micheal Jackson, Aerosmith, Lady GaGa. I requested GaGa and Gwen Stefani. Sadly the DJ didn't have any Gwen Stefani. How sad. A DJ should at least have "Hollaback Girl" with them. I always thought ab out DJ-ing for a club once. I wonder if its hard. Later that night, I requested two Madonna songs. "Jump" & "Papa Don't Preach". I looovveee Madonna. But when Papa Don't preach came on, my Mom Started cryng. She told me this was the song she listened to over and over when she found out she was pregnant with me. It made my mom think of my grandpa. I felt kinda warm when she told me something like that. My mom & I have had problems. Many problems. I really didn't know what to think. I didn't know if she was just being dramatic because she was drunk or really meant it. I know it sounds pretty harsh. But, nobody knows my mom as well as I do. And its hard to explain most things when it comes to her.
Heres a picture of us before going. I have just realized that I have a very round face and it should be covered more often. It just looks weird to me.
I've been sick for a little while. I hate being sick. I just don't feel like myself at all and don't even feel like doing anything at all. I'm not even sure if I want to go to school tomorrow. When I woke up today, I felt like someone was stabbing the back of my head. I didn't know if I was feeling like that if it was because I had a little champagene, loud music or just being really sick. Today really wasn't that easy anyways. Felt really run down and just bleh. I've now decided I want to write about fashion and stuff on here. I know many people are doing it on here. But I really can't help to express my love for fashion. I was also thinking about sharing my designs on here! I make some in my spare time. Sometimes I just doodles random characters.
The Fashion Picks: Sequins
I'm completey in love with anything that has to do with sequins at the moment. I prefer the black the most. It just has this nighttime sparkle to it. Or just some sort of thing that just really reels me in. Its just one of those thing where I really love it for some unknown reason. Must be one of my crazy phases. The silver/white ones reminds me of disco balls. If I could find a top that had silver/white sewuins, I could look like a disco ball! Right now, I'm really wanting the black on black sequin converse. If anyone gets me those for X-Mas, I'll love you forever!!!
Black Tights & Black Heels
Don't really know what it is about me and tights. I like tights. I really like black tights and nude fishnets. They're very simple, yet stunning in my opinion. I really like paring them with button up shirts & dress shorts, dresses and jackets. Lately I want to find purple plaid pants. Parachute pants and Skinny Jean. Its really hot to me right now and you would see me rocking them almost all the time. What whould be sexy is wearing some sort of boot with the pants and add some studded suspenders from Tourcrush. I saw sequin suspenders and wanted to get them so badly!!! White,Black&Purple ones too!!! I even found a silver sequined bow. Something I could possibly add to my awesome homecoming pink dream outift. The dress isn't going to be pink ;]. Its a surprise. I really wish I could get over this stupid cold. Also find more things to talk about in these journals. I got rid of my Myspace, so I don't know what else to do in my freetime. I think I should talk about music&fashion more. In fact, I will. Love&Sequins- <3 Livee

July 19, 2009Buzz from The Fuzz: If All Celebrities Mysteriously Go Missing, This Is Why...Ok, I was browsing through DeviantArt.com - which I love to do... and I came across one of the most amazing and perhaps bizarre things I have ever seen. I realized that if all celebrities suddenly went missing...I knew the answer!!! Here is why... there's no reason to explain - just look! :
He seriously has put the artists of Tonner Doll to shame.
This "Black or White" Michael Jackson doll sold on eBay for $919.99
I swear... I was beginning to think he just photoshopped Julie Andrews' face on here... but I thought "nah..." It's just so amazing and... CREEPY!
It's like he stole their souls and put them into dolls! It's The Puppet Master in real life!!! I think I'd quit my day job if I were any of these professional artists for the mass industry of dolls.... they've got nothing on this guy! The artist is called *noeling on DeviantArt, but his real name is Noel Cruz. You seriously need to check this guy out! Not only does he steal people's souls and put them into dolls, but he's also a fantastic traditional artist. Check out his pages:

July 10, 2009Help! I'm born in the wrong era!If you know me you'd know that I'm a HUGE 80's fan. Have been since I was about eleven years old. I love everything and anything 80's and I find the 80's incredibly exciting, entertaining and BIG. BIG being the key word (hair, bows, eyebrows, noses - these were the days before plastic surgery became huge). Let's look at some of the iconic trends: SHOULDER PADS:
(How lovely do the ladies of Dynasty look with their vicious shoulder pads - oh bay-bay!) DENIM
(Oh so vicious with the cowboy fringe and the acid wash - with a jacket to match!) and we cannot forget.... LINGERIE AS OUTWEAR
(We have Madonna to thank for introducing this fabulous trend - way before Lady GaGa and her pants boycott.)
And then we have iconic movies: SIXTEEN CANDLES:
(The classic tale of Average Joe Girl loves Popular Boy. Popular Boy dumps hot girlfriend for Average Joe Girl... if only ;) ) WEIRD SCIENCE
(When the fantasy of making a babe via a computer came true - every guys dream) and my personal favourite THE BREAKFAST CLUB
(The good ol' clique tale. Nerd, Popular, Rebel, Jock and Weirdo. Personally, I reckon the weirdo was the coolest...) All of these movies have one thing in common... They are all directed and written by the fabulous John Hughes!
(Yummy. How I love the 'Come and get me girls' stare) All of these things I love or have loved over the years and I seriously think that I was meant to be an 80's child. Unfortunately I was exposed to the 90's as a kid and have come to adore 90's things such as THE SPICE GIRLS
(a personal favourite. My friend in prep and I used to fight over Posh Spice. The days when she wasn't a plastic barbie... well, not quite anyway) and EARLY MORNING CARTOONS
(I freakin' loved this show. I used to get up at 6:50 on the dot every morning just to watch Kim Possible. Now I sleep in until about 2pm if I can :| )
As much as these 90's styles were awesome, i still long to have grown up in the 80's. Everything was still so new and fresh. And plus, MJ was the star of the time - I still think he's a total hottie to this day.
So, we all think we're stuck in the wrong era sometimes and that we should be born in another time - what era do you belong in and why? 80's Allll the wayyyy (: Stay vicious, - Cinda x
