Madina Lake to record Iron Maiden cover, bring the confetti: EXCLUSIVE

Madina Lake are back again with another exclusive story for Buzznet's ears only. You are now part of the cool kids club.
Singer Nathan Leone spoke directly with DJ Rossstar about their upcoming tour as the openers for Story of the Year. While the full itinerary is under wraps for now, we now know that the first show will be on April 6th and the tour with last until the end of May. The Josephine Collective will also be openers on this tour.
We were told that the band are working on an Iron Maiden cover as we speak. The band hopes it will be perfected in time to play on the next tour. When asked about the upcoming live shows, Leone described the stage as having 'our banner, lights, more confetti, than New Years Eve in Manhattan'
After digging deeper for some dirt, Leone revealed that the band will take a short beak after the SOTY tour to start demoing new songs for their follow up to 2007's From Them, Through Us, to You. The biggest surprise is that the band are going country. Just kidding.
You can catch Madina Lake this summer on the Vans Warped Tour 2008! Tell Leone that Buzznet says hello.

Iron Maiden? Wow, I don't know if I should be excited or scared.
But I ♥ Madina Lake.
^^
I don't think they can handle an Iron Maiden spng...
=/
aha i dunno if im scared of excited about the cover lol
that freaked me out REAL bad about them going country
JEEZ
i nearly had a heartattack!
haha
YES! new album coming, i am stoked!
Nothing but relative riffs.
May I ask what is with bands messing with the classics?
Paramore trashed U2's "Sunday Bloody Sunday".
The only well done cover of the U2 song is by The Living End and Nine Inch Nails.
Covers are meant to sound as close to the real with thing with an added twist.
Paramore turned the song upside down and made it horrible.
She doesn't have the voice for it; I know there has got to be a better band for her to find a song to cover.
Now Madina Lake is messing with another classic rock band?
There's a reason they're called classics.
There's only one, only will be one, and forever it will be the best.
Madina Lake could definitely find a more suiting band to cover.
Iron Maiden isn't even close to what they sound like vocals or percussion wise.
But in the end, good luck to it.
Hope it sounds as good as it is believed to be.
I'll be checking it out, definitely.
This isn't a bash.
Madina's a good band.
Just a bit of irritation.
However, Iron Maiden is amazing.
I wonder how this cover will sound...
And does anyone know what song they'll be covering?
Iron Maiden are fucking legends and to be quite honest i don't know if they can handle the sound of the beast.
I wish them good luck...
