MacArthur Park
I live right next to MacArthur Park. The original Buzznet offices are actually right next door to me. Sadly, we're no longer there.
Anyway, I really love this park, not just for the photographic possibilities it presents. I go running here nearly every morning. There are always families in the park. It's pretty nuts on the weekends. They even have paddle boats in the lake during the summer! Even though the water in the lake is disgusting, I've actually swam in the lake twice. Ugh. Long set of stories.
This was a 19 second exposure on my 50mm f/1.4 lens. But the aperture was down to 14. I'm happy with how this came out. Please click ALL SIZES to see the full size image.

p.s. gosh, Langer's Deli just beyond these trees Love it^^ such a L.A. classic. have you tried it. same owners since 1947 =)
it has a lot of character.
