i am not a Fan of the new Boys Like Girls album ( i personally think they sold out but whatever) dont bite my head off if you believe differently cause thats my opinion if you have nothing good to say dont say it thanks :]

Im going to there concert because i like boys like girls old album anddd i love cobra starship, versa emerge, the maine and a rocket to the moon. its gonna be an amazing concert i think for sure!

its tomorrow and idont think i can stress how much fun im gonna have!

but i will give boys like girls this. i do like there song love drunk and two is better than one and contagious. they are catchy and good. but hey atleast they are making it big and im proud of them i just wish there old sound would come back! i miss the old boys like girls cause i remember when i first heard them i was inlove with them! oh well i guess everyone's gotta do what they gotta do to make it they're dream right? well im proud of them and im glad they are still meeting fans and stuff because i really wanna meet martin and all of them cause like i said they use to be one of my favorite bands and i will stick by them.

I've read some fanfics and they had the SAME EXACT lines that i have in mine. Not song lyrics but talking lines. Seriously, come up with your own stuffff. I talk with other people to brainstorm ideas, but i only do that with three people who i know aren't going to steal it, because 1. Two off the don't write them and 2. SHE NEVER UPDATES (coughcoughCORRINAcoughcough) :DDDD<3

i know, if you read a fanfic or whatever, and you go to write yours the ideas are in your brain, JUST DON'T DO IT. And if you have an idea that is kinda like someone elses, ASK for permission to use it. if i have done it, i'm sorry, but i didn't intend to do it.

I was really excited for this album, but it didn't live up to my expectations. I really like some songs though. It's just not like their other album. I miss the "Thunder" days. ):

Paramore - Brand New Eyes

Definetly beat my expectations. It was great. My favorite song is probably "All I Wanted" and it gave me major inspiration for a one-shot which i need to post soon.... Anyway, it was great. I really wish they were coming to Ohio for their tour, but no, we're the boring state that doesn't get any good bands. The Warped line up absolutly SUCKED. I wanted to go to the one that was a few hours away, buttttt I was leaving for Colorado that day. Anyway, you probably don't care about this rant, but keep reading for the next subject. ;]

All Time Low - Nothing Personal

 I never did this, and I know I'm a terrible person. (:

Weightless - When this first came out in March/April , i loved it. it was the time of year that it was still cold out, but you could get away with wearing sandals. it reminded me of summer. No joke, the first time i heard it, it was cloudy, and then the sun came threw the clouds and shined on the computer. :D Perfect summer song!

Break Your Little Heart - LOVE this song. It's kinda pop-y, but who cares, this whole album is pretty much.

Damned if I do ya, (Damned if I don't) - Second single from Nothing Personal, and it got me so excited for July 7th (that seems like a really long time ago, compared to now). The video is great also. :D

Lost In Stereo-GREAT SONG. It makes me want to danceee. (Not a good thing, i can't dance). ;D Alex's favorite song, not mine, but it's up thereee.

Stella- Most of you read my story about the coach wearing a Stella shirt and me screaming. I love this song, and i think it has a great beat. I'm sick of people saying that ATL's songs are all the same. Maybe they are but that's why we love them, right? ;D

Sick Little Games- I don't know what it is about this song that i love! It just speaks to me, and it's the only one off of NP that does so. Probably my favorite song off of it.

Hello, Brooklyn- When the album leaked on MTV's website, i insantly knew that this was going to be my favorite song. and it was. i love the beat and my favorite line is "Tonight's like a knife, won't you cut me with your kiss?" I write it EVERYWHERE. I'm an insane doodler.

Walls- Great beat. Whenever i hear this song it reminds me of an aslym? ahahhahaha. Love the song.

Too Much- YOU NEED TO STOP THE HATE ON THIS SONG. All of you people who are like "OHMYGOD. ATL SUCKS BECAUSE OF THIS MESS!" That's why you've been fans of them for however many years, right? Okay, the autotune is overly used, but if thats what gets them somewhere, you should be happy. I personally love the song. Don't kill me with your comments. it's not nice.

Keep The Change, You Filthy Animal - Alaina pointed out to me that it was a line from Home Alone, Jack's favorite moviee. But i love the song a TON. :D :D :D

A Party Song - Probably my number three. i write lyrics to this song even more than i do for Hello Brooklyn. i write, "Lit a match, just to heat things up" EVERYYYYYYWHEREEEEEE. I love it soooooo much. In the top songsssssss.

Therapy - I love this one so much. Even though it's slow.

Poison - "Would you trade that heart of gold, for a minute in my skin?" Favorite line! great song.

I used to be that girl he called beautiful And that girl he wanted to be with. He used to be that gay i told all my friends Me and him would end up dating. Now im the girl he calls "friend" and hes the guy i call "buddy". Hes happy with his gf. Im sitting here confused and dazed. How did we end up here?

He used to call me in the middle of the night to tell me he was thinking of me. I used to send him cute pics of me, imagining him smiling when he sees it and says Wow. Now he tells me his problems and i solve them because i care deeply about him. Now im that girl he says has a "guy" personalty. Because i joke around and im not all serious. How did we end up here?

He tells me he "loves" me as a friend and its hard to explain. But i want him to tell me "i love you baby". I used to be that girl he wanted to be with. guess he found someone better. How the fuck did we end up here?

Now im over him and im moving on. Found guys im interested in and laughing at things. Hes the one confused over his gf and other girls. Slumping over what to do. He Goes to me for advice still and all i can say is "do wat u want". Hes the one i lost all my care for. and he still tries to make me care more. He tells me he loves me. and i said "i love you friend" and it makes him feel akward. I lost all feeling for him. and sometimes i cant help but think what may have happened if we were in a relationship but i shrug that thought off. Everyday he waits for me to reply to him on im. But i ignore him. I hope hes sitting there wondering "How did we end up here?"

You used to look like a total tomboy, now you are your old self!" I sighed and said,"Nikki, I've always been me." Nikki turned me so I faced the mirror and I saw a red headed girl with a band shirt, black skinny jeans, black and gray make up with vans that I will have to pay back for later. She said,"This was you before and now this is your after." I sighed and she was right. I used to wear baggy jeans and boy stuff ever since Chad broke up with me, now I feel more confident than ever. I said,"Thank you so much Nikki." She shrugged and said,"This is my hobby, I turn people into fashionistas." I laughed and said,"Well I can tell you do an awesome job at it." She laughed then the bell rang and she said,"I'll get it." She ran out of the bathroom to the door and Ben came into my bedroom as I walked out of the bathroom to see me. He said,"You look pwetty mommy." I laughed and said,"Thank you Ben." He said,"You have a good time kay?" I said,"Okay, I will miss you buddy." He said,"I'll miss you too Mommy." Love you." I smiled and said,"Love you too." I walked out and Josh was waiting in the living room. He smiled as I came out and said,"You look pretty." I smiled and said,"Thanks you don't look half bad yourself." He smirked and said,"Thanks." I laughed and said,"It's a good thing." Josh smiled and asked,"Ready to go?" I said,"Yep." Ben yelled,"Bye Mommy and Joshuwa!" We laughed and I said,"Love you Ben!" He waved as we left and we went to the car. Josh said as we buckled in,"This must be your first night out with a boy ever since ya know.." I said,"Yeah, I usually have a Girls Night Out with our little kids. But that's it, I never went on a date again ever." Josh asked,"What made you change your mind?" I said,"Well I just felt like I was totally over Chad that I can start dating other guys while he dates other girls." Josh stopped at a stop light and asked,"Other girls?" I shrugged and said,"He can be a player. When I used to be backstage with him he would look at other girls who were his fans and flirt with them all the time." Josh nodded and said,"tabitha was like that except when she was selling clothes at a shop, she would talk to guy costumers while at work." I said,"Huh, go figures." Josh laughed and said,"Hey." I laughed and said,"Sorry." He laughed and said,"It's okay. Besides she can't hear us. Tabitha is a whore!" We laughed and I said,"You're so wierd. People are gonna think you're crazy!" He laughed and said,"Let em' think that. I don't care." I laughed and said,"Okay crazy, but if people ask I don't know you." He smiled and said,'Whatever." We laughed and kept talking then stopped at a place I think I remembered but at the same time didn't remember.

I said,"This is not the bowling alley." He said,"I know, we're gonna take a detour for awhile." He got out of his side and helped me out of my seat. He said,"You are so short Hayles." I smiled and said,"Thanks and Hayles." He shrugged and said,"I thought it was a catchy nickname." Man I hated nicknames people called me shorty, spongebob, red head it was annoying. Hayles is fine though, when he says it.

We got inside the club Josh kidnapped me to and boy was it full. It was kind of disgusting, people grinding, dancing in wierd ways and ways I don't even want to explain. Josh yelled,"Stay near me and you'll be safe!" I nodded kind of nervous and he took my hand then led me to a table. We sat down and a lady came over then asked,"What would you like to drink?" Josh yelled over the music,"Samuel Adams Beer." The lady wrote it down and she looked over at me then I said,"Umm....water." She nodded and she looked at me kind of curious. Probably wondering why I am not drinking alchohol or something. She yelled,"Your drinks will be right with you." We nodded and she left, after she left I yelled,"This is a big club!" Josh yelled,"Yeah I know! I usually just sit over here until it kind of clears out!" I yelled,"Why'd you bring me here?!" He shrugged and said,"Seem like you needed more fun!" Finally our drinks came and the music died down. The DJ said,"Okay, now it's time to go slow. Find somebody to dance with and come dance! We're going to dance to...Leave Out All the Rest by Linkin Park. Here we go." The song started playing and Josh asked,"You wanna dance?" I said,"I don't know, do I have to grind like they are?" I gestured to some kids who were grinding and Josh laughed then said,"No you don't have to, I'm not like that." I sighed in relief and he took my hand then led me to the dance floor. He said,"Just be..you." I smiled and said,"Well me doesn't dance." He smiled and said,"I'll lead you." I smiled and said,"Okay." While he moved us from step to step he said,"One, two, three. One two three." I smiled and he said,"Hey you got the hang of it!" I said,"Yeah I did." I looked up and saw him staring at me. I kept smiling then put my head on his shoulder. We danced like for a long time until the song stopped and The Way I Are came on. I said,"You were a good dance partner." He said,"You were a good dance learner." We laughed then Josh asked,"You wanna head back to the table?" I nodded and said,"Sure." We went to our table then we took a swig of our drinks. Josh asked,"You having a good time?" I said,"Yeah, I got to slow dance and yeah! This is fun!" He laughed and said,"I'm glad you're enjoying it!"

We talked and danced at the club then Josh dropped me home. He parked in front of my house and said,"Well I'm glad you had a good time." I sighed and said,"Yeah well, thanks for taking me out." He smiled and said,"No problem." He looked at me with his smile then I leaned in and kissed his cheek. I said,"Bye." I walked out of his car and kept smiling on the way inside. I'm pretty sure I saw him smiling as he left too. I still felt the sensation on my lips as I kissed his cheek. The blood running fast through my body....

(Josh)Boy that kiss was amazing! Even for a cheek kiss, it was amazing. I felt sensation run through my body and I couldn't help but smile. I heard someone yelling in the background while I was staring into space yelling,"Josh! Josh! Are you in there?! Okay fine, I'll drink the last Red Bull!" I instantly came back to earth and said,"No you don't!" I ran to the fridge and grabbed it before Zac could. Zac sighed and said,"Phew! I thought you were dead or somethin'!" I took a swig and asked,"Why would you think that?" He said,"You've been in wonderland for like half an hour!" I looked at him suprised and said,"Oh, that long? dang!" He said,"Yeah, is it that single mom?" I said,"Shut up Zac, you're annoying me to hell." He said,"Yeah it is! Cause' that is the first sign of defense and denial." I sighed and said,"Leave me alone zac." Zac said,"The other sign is annoyance." I said,"Zac! Just be quiet you're giving me a headache!" He said,"Yelling is the third." I stood up and tackled him then he said,"Fourth violence." I sighed and said,"You really need to get a new hobby rather than annoying me." He said,"Deal but I won't keep promises." I sighed and got off him. He said,"Man you tackled me hard bro." I sighed and said,"That's what you get." He said,"Yeah yeah, that's what I get. Goodnight douch bag." I laughed and said,"Whatever Zac goodnight fat ass." He stuck his tounge out and walked into his room. I sighed and fell onto my bed then stared at the ceiling thinking about Hayley. Man I think I am crazy, thinking about her all night, I must be Love Drunk again.

I think it's fair to say that the majority of you know that I reeeally really love All Time Low. But what you might not realize is how much I love Boys Like Girls.

So let's take a trip down memory lane and I'll show you the depths of my affection. It was spring of 2006... April the second, to be exact. I went to see a Motion City Soundtrack concert with The Matches, The Format, and Men Women and Children. It was a phenomenal show. And the first rock show I attended without my parents; it was just me, my twin sister Jill, and my older sister Anna. I was 16 (and a half!) years old. I will always remember 02 APRIL 2006 because it was the beginning of my concert obsession.

• waiting in line outside the venue for doors to open
• visiting the merch tables with tip jars saying that a unicorn will die if you don't tip
• squeezing in between complete strangers to get as close to the stage as possible
• holding up the camera and praying to get a good shot
• hanging out with the bands during set changes and after the show
• looking around and seeing everyone rockkk along to every song

I just love concerts. I love to live in the music as it is played before me. Nothing can replace concerts for me.

And so after that show we found a few others to see, but could hardly wait for Motion City Soundtrack or The Format to come back to town. We checked their web pages for any news of upcoming tours or concerts that we'd be able to go and see them at. And then a tour was announced... Tournado on 18 DECEMBER 2006. Lineup? Motion City Soundtrack (YES!). The Format (YES!). The All-American Rejects (WOOHOO!). and Boys Like Girls (who?). Our curiousity was sparked. We looked 'em up and liked the songs they had released so far... and a new album was coming out soon!! How exciting.

So we waited for 22 AUGUST 2006 to come around (3 days before my birthday :). Eventually it did, and we bought it, aaand I listened to that record a trillion times. I could not get enough of it. The Great Escape. Five Minutes to Midnight. Hero/Heroine. On Top of the World. Thunder. Me, You and My Medication. Up Against the Wall. Dance Hall Drug. Learning to Fall. Heels Over Head. Broken Man. Holiday. Songs that I know better than the United States Constitution. 

And so the day of the concert came. And I was one of maybe 10 people in the crowd who had heard of Boys Like Girls, but I sang along to their songs as loud as at least 5 people. I was floored. Their show was awesome. It made me appreciate them even more (bands should be evaluated on not only their studio abilities, but also their live performances... Boys Like Girls passed both with flying colors). Over the next year I saw them in concert:

1. 11 MARCH 2007 with Cartel and Cobra Starship
2. 12 MAY 2007 with Hellogoodbye and The Rocket Summer
3. 27 JULY 2007 on the Warped Tour
4. 09 NOVEMBER 2007 with All Time Low, The Audition, and Valencia

And then my streak ended when they decided to tour with Avril Lavigne.

My love for Boys Like Girls has never faltered. I am a loyal fan through and through. And if truth be told, they are the reason I joined Buzznet.com in the first place... I wanted to enter a contest... I got second place. WOOHOO! I also won an autographed drum-head through one of the Warped Tour contests. Needless to say, I am really happy with how the contests went and how my time on Buzznet has been spent.

So anyway, let's fast forward to today. I wake up and hop onto my computer and low-and-behold... THERE'S A NEW BOYS LIKE GIRLS SONG!! Love Drunk. I flipped not one, not two, not three, not any shits because I don't even know what that means. I screamed, turned the song on, and listened to it a dozen times before realizing I could buy it and turn it on single repeat, rather than replaying it on their myspace page. I have since listened to it at least 50 times (SINGLE REPEEEAT!) and keep finding myself hopping out of my chair to dance along. It's such a great song. Good beat. Entertaining lyrics with a supadupastella melody. And there's a swear word... Martin says "bullshit". Yes.

I have been anticipating a new album for years, and now that one is just around the corner, I hardly know what to do with myself!! I am so excited I don't even know how to contain my energy!!1! So I expel it through dance!! and sing along, of course ;) I highly recommend checking out their new single Love Drunk. I loveLoVeLOVE it! You might not like it, but you'll enjoy the thoughts of me dancing around my family room in my jammies when the chorus kicks in.

You know that one band who's debut and only album came out like a million years ago(okay, three)? Yeah, well, they're finally (heck yes!) going to put out a new album to follow up 2006's self-titled Boys Like Girls. And it's called Love Drunk. Read more...
