Angels & Airwaves - Hallucinations
---------------I'm foaming at the mouth here, people. What better way to welcome 2010 than a track listing of AVA's upcoming album, LOVE, and a listen to their single "Hallucinations?!" Sigh...everything's magic.

The adoration and love I have for a country that is not my own is something I never thought I would experience.  Upon my first delightful sip of Bordeaux I was inspired to write about the country I seem to talk about always, feel proud to brag about visiting, and hope to learn the language of and aspire to own property there in the future.

Here is my List of Love for France in no particular order:

• Paris  (which deserves a category/blog of it's own).  For being the city of lights and romance and a capitol of art, music, history, fashion and culinary.
• Macaroons.  For being pure heavenly deliciouness in the form of a crisp and creamy little cookie.
• Champagne.  Thank the stars to Dom Perignon for accidentally discovering the sparkle in wine that is champagne.  (Even French mistakes are AMAZING).
• Croque Monsieurs.  I could live on these and have finally learned to cook them!
• Henri Toulouse-Lautrec.
• Reims. The capitol of Champagne Country!  More beautiful than can be described.
  
• Marc Chagall.  To whom I give thanks for the windows of St. Etienne in Metz and Notre Dame de Reims.
• Bordeaux.
• Yelle.  Pop singer!!!!
• Ratatouille.  The stew not particularly the movie... though also a FAVE.
• Coco Chanel.
• Givenchy.
• Strasbourg.  An amazing little city!
  
• Marie Anoinette.
• Berets.
• Baguettes.
• Amelie.  Audrey Tatou was amazing and I will adore her forever because of this movie.

I could go on... But I won't for now... Tune in next week for the love of Prague!

that is really all I have to say. I'm back from my grand europe trip. they had the worst weather they've had in like 20 years, of course my family brought it there from the poconos haha.

I'll update with my best pics from the trip but until then can we please complain together about how awful vevo is? I get that youtube wanted to erase all their copyright infringement shit by getting all the official videos on one site, but it's slow as fuck and doesn't load for shit. I don't understand? youtube loads fine for me? are they using a different system or player for this vevo bullshit? Obviously they are or it would work. If it worked nicely and loaded like youtube did I would praise the shit out of it. FUCK VEVO. that is all, they'll hopefully work out it's many faults soon.

anywho I saw nine with my friend Jess last night. We were going to wait until 10:40 to see Brothers because I love my Natalie Portman but I'm glad we didn't because I am not used to the time change yet (which is why I'm typing this entry at 10:30 in the morning, an ungodly hour for myself to usually be awake at). and because MY GOD it was too good. two of my favorite movies are musicals so I expected to like it but oh man the bitches in the movie were SOO hot. I even liked kate hudson's haggard ass in the movie! and that says something. also why does she play a journalist in every movie? Does she want to be one that badly? I don't blame her :)

I guess Fergie gained 20 pounds for the movie? idk bitch looked fierce as fuck I don't even care. but I'm wondering why I haven't heard more praise for this movie? maybe because I was gone when it came out? I'm not sure but everyone should go see it.

Marion Cotillard had the hottest body EVER. It was great to see it not gonna lie. The songs were good, daniel day lewis' accent was funny, and the ladies were sexy sexy. Go see it.

I look back at all the memories that we've made. Depressing? yes. but at once it was such a joy. a joy that could never be taken. yet now all joy that i saw in you and those memories has turned to hurt and pain. you repetedly hurt me. I don't understand what I did wrong this time.All i know is that it is my fault. I screw up everythiing, not only for myself but everyone around me. Why don't you understand the fact that I care about you? You make it seem like I don't care that you leave me or hurt me. In fact I care too much. I just want to get over you. It's easier said then done. Ive grown attached to you. It's almost as if i need you to help me feel whole. What am i supposed to do without you there? It's like I dont even exist at that point. I cant go on like that. It's impossible. You say you understand what ot feels like to be hurt yet you still cause it. SOmetimes I wish I could take it all back as if we've never crossed paths, but I know that it is better to have truely cared about you and had my heartbroken then have never even talked to you. I always used to complain about being single, but i never realized how hard it would be to lose someone. I always told myself I would never get carried away with somebody. I told myself I would never let anyone else control my heart, yet here i am wounded with you as an excuse for the pain. You left me with nothiing but hopelessness towards myself. I should of learned from the first time you hurt me but instead I couldnt fiight you off. I gave myself reason to believe you changed. I tricked myself into getting hurt again. Im such a fuckup.
