The news is reporting today that Lily Allen has expressed she is going to be quitting music and "passing the baton to other artists". She has not renegotiated her record deal, she has no plans to write a new album and to top it all off (omg) she has shut down her blog. Which of these female musicians would you rather see quit the music business then Lily Allen?
Lily Allen today claimed that her recent drastic weight loss was due to a health scare (the fact that she has been diagnosed with a heart murmur) and not because she wants to fit in with the 'In Crowd'. Lily has dropped 2 dress sizes in 6 weeks through an intensive exercise regime but still smokes cigarettes and is known to have the occasional drink or 7. So do we believe her? Are her intentions purely to improve her health or has she done what she vowed she'd never do and given in to the pressure to be super skinny in a cut-throat industy?
