Gasser at least we don't have to get changed to go into mourning. Besides the poor performance of the ref, we have to take responsibility. The team were physically as well prepared as possible, but the rotation policy may have played against us because when the French came at us, we lost the game plan altogether, our skipper didn't take control and we played kick and run which All Blacks just don't do, a clear sign that they didn't know how to combat them and didn't follow our usual style of running rugby. In short, we lost the mental game and of course the French had nothing to lose, stuck to their game plan and were the best team on the day.
I wonder if we will mothball our team in future. When we won the first world cup our players were selected on performance and were match hardened.
