Happy New Year Buzznet friends :)) How're you all doing? How was your New Year's Eve ??

Let's talk about this past week.. another amazing week of holiday :) First of all you need to know that for most of the days I will tell you what I've done during the afternoon, just because I'm always sleeping all morning long ahah I'm so terrible but I really needed that!

On the 27th I met with Francesca and Maria for a coffe in Castello, we talked about Christmas and our trip to Turin in May for the concert.. later me and Francesca went to the restaurant for what we call in Italy a "pizzata" basically when you go to a restaurant (pizzeria) with a big group of friends :) This time it was with most of the students who partecipated to the manifestations of November and Dicember.. As you may know Italy's situation is definitely not the best in the world, and instead of trying to improve from school, we're always sacrificed.. This is my fifth year of high school and there was not a year we had nothing to strike for something. However this pizzata was all about fun, since we created a very united group and I'm very glad about that :)

On the 29th I went out with some friends for shopping and I did buy a sweater that I'm in love with and I'm definitely going to show that to you, however I found also another sweater that I'm even more in love with but was a little bit over my budget ahah So I'm just going to wait for the Sales hoping to find it again ahah

On the 30th In the afternoon I prepared the Tiramisù for the New Year's Eve, if you want you can find my recipe HERE :) Later I met up with the same friends of the day before plus two new entries: Francesca, a friend of my friend Maria, who lives in Rome since the Elementary school but was born here in Cagliari and come here whenever she can; Sarah, my friend Francesca's cousin, who lives and was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and is now an exchange student in Turin and is spending the holidays here in Cagliari :) We ate pizza, AGAIN, but this time in one of the best pizza places in town in my opinion, since the owners and cooks are from Naples!

NEW YEAR'S EVE! In the late afternoon I went to a city by the sea pretty near to Cagliari, at the house of a classmate of mine... I basically spent the New Year's Eve there with most of my classmates (+ again Francesca and Sarah (: ), but I will tell you more about this night in the BSTA! Unfortunately I did not take my camera so no photos of the night, but believe me when I say I had a blast!

The next day we woke up pretty early actually ( I think we slept two or three hours ahahah ) to clean and leave the house to our friend, since his parents would have arrived for lunch! When I came back home I could not sleep, I never sleep in the afternoon of I feel very bad ahah don't ask me why, so I just waited until night to finally rest properly!

Yesterday I did nothing special, just saw The Corpse Bride with my friend Michela ( LOOOOVE THAT MOVIE), while today I went on top of one of the medieval towers of Cagliari with Francesca and Sarah, since it was her last day here in Cagliari, where I took this photo of the city and it's surrounding area ( just behind you can see the pond of Molentargius, home of thousands of Flamingos) and later on we saw a beautiful sunset :)

Now me and my family just finished watching Masterchef Italy! I LOOOVE that program ahah

Any plans for this 2013 ? Mine are still very confused and this in going to be one of the most important years of my life probably ahah :)

3rd Week - Christmas Sunset :))

Hi guyss :)) Hope you spend a beautiful Christmas Eve and Christmas day with your family :)

Last week was my last before the holidays and we luckily did not much at school and I didn't have to study anything :) The last two days, friday and saturday, we watched the movie "American History X", not really the best Christmas movie ahah, which talks about a group of skinhead in Los Angeles.. it is very cruel but very well done, I really liked it!

Saturday night there was the actual birthday party of my friend Francesca and to give her the Lana Del Rey's concert tickets we filmed a video of my friend Alessia acting like Lana and saying her that she wanted to give her the tickets ahah it was so fun and she was so enthusiastic of the present :)) It is going to be on the 3rd of May and we're staying in Turin for the whole weekend.. I just can't wait!

On Sunday I celebrated Christmas with my classmates.. we met in Benedetta's house, ate lots of foods and basically everyone brought a little present and everyone had to pick a random one ahah :) It was really fun and I received a Ferrero Rocher pyramid... NOM NOM NOM

And then it arrived the Christmas Eve.. I spent the whole day finishing to decorate the house and preparing the dinner ( I made Tiramisù and I'm going to share with you my recipe very soon.. ) At five I decided I would go in Castello, the medieval part of Cagliari, and take some photos since it was such a beautiful hot sunny day.. This in the photo is the beautiful sunset I saw :)) At nine my mum's sister and my cousins came for the dinner and we ate like crazy ... and after midnight, just like every year, my father turned off all of the lights of the house and brought all of the presents under the Christmas tree:)) It was such a joyful night!

CHRISTMAS DAY!! I woke up pretty late and found on the table some milk and the chocolate cookies that my brother baked the day before.. my mother cooked the porceddu, the traditional festive preparation of a little pig .. when the porceddu was ready we went at my aunt's house where we found the rest of our family, but before lunch we hopened our gifts :)) It was another exhausting meal, but that's the beauty of Christmas hahah

As if that was not enough, today I had lunch at my father's sister house ahah ....another exhausting meal as you can only imagine!

Hope you're having the best holidays ever :)) next weekly post will be in 2013... I'm so excited for the New Year's Eve :DD

Christmas-birthday Cheesecake :))

Yesterday and the day before yesterday I baked two cheesecakes, one for a friend's birthday party and the other of a Christmas party with some friends.. but I will tell you more about these parties in the next "Weekly photo" :)

Everyone really liked it so I thought why not sharing my recipe on Buzznet? This way you can give me some tips to make it the best cheesecake ever ahah Also if you have a no bake cheesecake recipe share it on Buzznet because I really want to make that soon or later :)

For the crust I just use 250gr of regular biscuits and 150gr of melted butter..

For the cream instead I mix togheter three eggs, 100gr of sugar and 600gr of cream cheese.. then I add the juice and the zest of one lemon, vanilla extract and 20gr of cornstarch.. when I'm done mixing with the whisk I add 100ml of fresh cream with a spatula..

Then I take my crust, that was for half an hour in the frizzer to set, and cover it with the cream.. I bake for 30 minutes at 180°C/356°F and then for more 20 or 30 minutes at 160°C/320°F

This time I covered my cheesecake with soft fruits marmelade and frozen soft fruits ahah

2nd Week - Christmas Tree and The Hobbit

Hey y'all! ahah :) What's up?? Let's talk about this last week!

Last weekend I studied for my physics and Greek translation tests! Hopefully I did the physics one pretty well, while I am complitely sure that my greek translation had no sense ahah :)

On Saturday I went to the cinema and finally saw The Hobbit... I am so in LOOOOOVEE :)) Every time I saw the trailer I was about to cry ahahah I really really liked it, the acting, costumes, landscapes, special effects.. EVERYTHING hahah Now I am thinking about reading again both the Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings :))

After the movie I had to go out with some friends but I was feeling soo low and sick so I decided to just come back home and watch another movie ahah

On Sunday I started studying for the simulation of the third written test of the final exam.. Basically it consists of four questions, that could be about anything you studied during the year, of four random subjects, that you don't know until the moment you have the test on your hands ahah, and you need to answer in only 20 lines.. We did the simulation on Tuesday and it went pretty well except for physics but whatever ahah

On monday it was my friend Francesca's birthday and we celebrated in class, and me and her closest friends had dinner with her at her house but she's having her actual party on Saturday:) Me, Alessia and Maria decided to have a special birthday present for her so we decided to buy the tickets for Lana Del Rey's concert in Turin on the 3rd of May :)) We didn't give it to her yet, but I can't really wait for her reaction ahah

ps: Last monday I finally did my new Christmas tree and decorations for the house and I really wanted to show it to you :))

After the failure of my 365 days project, and after another quite long period of absence, since I missed Buzznet and all of my friends here, I took the decision of starting this weekly project which will allow me to update whenever I can ... As many of you may know this is my last year of high school and at the end of this year I will have an exam ( structured in four tests, three written and one oral), for this reason I really need to study a lot and constantly and I don't have much time to update Buzznet :( Also I've been taking daily driving theoretic lessons, but luckily I'm having the final test on the first days of January and hopefully I will pass.. after that I will have the actual driving lessons... in the car.... which... I DRIVE.... I'm pretty scared about driving a car myself but I really need it so Imma just forget any fear :) The only thing I have to say now is... how are you all doing ?? :))) Are you feeling Christmas in the air ?? I don't know, just tell me whatever you want :)) Now I'm just going to look out at your posts and share some love like I used to do :) ps: don't judge me for this photo ahah I took it a few days ago after I cut my hair just because a friend of mine asked me to do it ahah I think it's really funny me acting like a model! The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See is the third church of the world and totally impressed me! The inside is just as beautiful as the outside and if you love Gothic buildings I know you're gonna love it!

The beautiful Seville - 5th day

We woke up in Seville with a lot of plans and places to visit, so we went out pretty early and our first destination would have been the Casa de pilatos.. It is a medieval villa considered to be the prototype of the Andalusian house.. I thought it was just lovely and so inspiring! I wish I had all of the walls of my house covered with these BEAUTIFUL tiles!
