Just like the US's Warped Tour and Project Revolution Tour, South Africa has got it's own, awesome event...*drum roll*...MY COKE FEST! The MCF2008 was the 3rd event since 2005's The Coca Cola Colab Massive Mix. It is presented by Big Concerts and 5fm. Follow this link and check out the MCF website to view Superfans, videos and photos of MCF2008. Even us South Africans know how to rock hard!
The band line-up was as followed:
Local: Lonehill Estate, Crash Car Burn, Wonderboom
Prime Circle
International: 30 Seconds to Mars, Kaiser Chiefs, Good Charlotte, Chris Cornell, Muse and Korn!

One band just isn't enough for Korn's James "Munky" Shaffer. He has just announced a new project called Fear and the Nervous System, according to a statement from his publicist. Munky is brining some buds along too -- the group also features musicians who have also served time with Bad Religion, Limp Bizkit and Faith No More.

The man known as Munky has been playing guitar for the rock band Korn since the rock band was harvested 1993. Fans were stunned when he left the band last month because of personal and family reasons...but now he's back!
