The Be Gulls "Morning Show" Today on "The Freak Power Ticket" on KCSB-FM
From 9-10am (PDT), this Monday, April 14th, "The Freak Power Ticket" on KCSB 91.9 FM (kcsb.org), Santa Barbara, will rebroadcast a special "morning show" spoof from 2004, put together by the Begulls, aka Kyle Field (of Little Wings fame [formerly of K Records]) and Lee Baggett, of Avila Beach. (Field now lives in Carpinteria, California, a few miles south of Santa Barbara, and makes a living not as a musician, but as a fine artist.)
I dug into my archives for this recording: it's pretty out there and timeless. A few technical glitches during the hour, but it's all in their lo-fi spirit! (And this image is primarily of a Kyle Field hand-drawn poster for that original broadcast! [I wonder what it's worth now?])
