With the annual Black Friday behind us now, it is clear to say that holiday shopping is well on its way. I myself have finished 90% percent of my shopping with only a few gifts left to be boughten. In the meantime, I will continue to browse through the racks in search of new clothes for yours truely.

Lately I've become obsessed with long sleeved v-necks. Just plain, boring colorful tops. I bought 6 over the past weekend and have only started to create cute outfits with the help of jewlery, shoes, and cardigan sweaters. With the cold weather approching, its time to buy some long sleeves.

What music have you been listening to lately? Itunes released the live sessions of Katy Perry and I've been obsessingly listening to it every chance I get. I've also been listening to Shinedown's 'If You Only Knew'.

Lastly, I would like to confirm that this upcoming week I'm officially the proud owner of a red PT Cruiser. I am so excited! I've picked out his name and everything. I can only image the adventures that will be coming soon with my chihuahua mix, Floppy in the passenger seat.

Chapter 2

This story is mine and all characters and events (even those based on real people or evens) are entirely fictional. I do not recommend that any of this be taken as true and if you do, you're a complete ignoramus and you need to be knocked in the head!!!

By the way, if I find out anyone has copied my story, I will personally come to their house and punch them in the kidneys!

This format was based on **Laurie's** "Across the Street"....just the format. I really liked the way it was set up and I give her major kudos!

SUMMARY: Brendon Urie is basically Mr. Perfect at his high school. His best friend Ryan has always been there for him, but he's always been sorta second rate. For years, these two have been close....until Stephani Gemanotta (Lady Gaga) is transferred to their high school.....then some very STRANGE things begin to happen......a murder perhaps????

 Chapter 2  

Brendon felt a little awkward standing next to this new girl....who was she? He certainly hadn't seen anyone like her before and knew that she might have a hard time making "gal pals" with the girls here because of the episode this morning.

There was an awkward silence for several moments before Mrs. Tippin said, "Well, have a seat. Ms....?"

"Gemanotta--Stephani Gemanotta," said the girl. She sat in the empty seat at the end of the alto section and Brendon found his place with the tenors next to Ryan.

"Alright Stephani, well the first thing we do here is a vocal exercise to sorta get everyone loosened up," she directed her attention to the rest of the class, "Stand." the class did as directed and everyone stood from their chairs, "Now, repeat after me: Red leather yellow leather. Red leather yellow leather. Red...."

Mrs. Tippin led the class through a couple more exercises before allowing the class to be seated. She sat down at her piano and said, "Ms. Gemanotta, have you been in a select choir before?"

"Umm, yes. I've always been in a select choir." Stephani said quietly from her chair.

"Well, you wouldn't mind performing for us would you? I need to find out what your range is to see if you belong with the sopranos, or the altos."

Stephani pulled a lock of blond hair behind her ear and said, "I wouldn't mind at all," she stood from her chair and walked over the Mrs. Tippin's piano, "do you mind if I play?"

Mrs. Tippin stood from her chair and said, "No, no. Not at all. You can play all you want."

Stephani sat down at the piano. She played a few notes and then stopped abruptly with a bang on several keys. This surprised Brendon. He looked around at his friends and could see them judging every move she made. He returned his focus back to Stephani. She seemed to be deep in thought; like she was changing into someone else. Then, all of the sudden, she burst to life, sending an angry, brilliant melody throughout the room. Her energy was incredible! He had never in his life seen someone play with such passion as the girl playing before him! She rocked with the music and her eyes burned with the soul of the song.

Brendon could see his friends were completely blown away by the looks on their faces. Brendon was even more so surprised when Stephani began to sing! She threw her head up and sang in a powerful, heart-stopping voice: ".........Everything, was everything/ but baby it's the last show!/ Everything, could be everything/ but it's time to say 'goodbye' so/ Get your last fix/ and your last hit!/ Grab your ol' gal with tha new tricks!/ Honey yeah/ it's no surprise/ that I got lost.....in your brown eyes......" She ended her song with a slower, more dreary than angry conclusion.

Brendon's skin was crawling with amazement at how beautiful her performance had been. He glanced over at Katy, who was sitting in the soprano section, and saw her rubbing off smudged eyeliner.

"Wow, she's good!" Ryan whispered to Brendon.

"I know! she was great!" Brendon whispered back Stephani sat silently at the piano for several moments taking deep breaths. Brendon watched as the quiet girl from five minutes ago slowly began to return.

"Wonderful, Ms. Gemanotta! WONDERFUL! You'll be a great addition to the choir! It's sounds like you'll do fine in the soprano section." Mrs.Tippin walked around and took the chair Stepani had sat in at the beginning of class and moved it next to Katy.

"I can actually sing well in both ranges," Stephani said, "But I do prefer soprano to alto."

All of the sudden, Jared started clapping. Everyone sorta looked around at each other for a second, then the rest of the class took Jared's lead and began applauding. Brendon felt ashamed of himself. He and the rest of the class had been so amazed by Stephani's performance, they had forgotten to clap!

A shy smile made it's way across Stephani's face, "Thank you, guys!" Brendon could hardly hear her over all the ruckus.

After a minute or so, Mrs. Tippin restored order, "Alright, alright. Ms. Gemanotta, could I have my piano back please?" she said in a sweet tone.

"Oh, yes. Sorry." Stephani stood from the piano and walked to her seat next to Katy. She fidgeted uncomfortably with a lock of her hair and didn't make eye contact with anyone.

Mrs. Tippin returned from music appreciator back to teacher in an instant,"Okay, class. Get out your folders and pull out the music for 'She Sings'....."

Everyone bombarded Stephani after class; they asked things like, "How long have you been singing?" and, "How long have you been playing piano?" while Ryan, Katy, and Brendon stood back.

"It looks like everyone loves her...." Katy said.

"She IS really good though," Ryan ran his fingers through his hair, "I wouldn't be surprised if we won the big competition in San Antonio in April with her in our choir."

"Yeah, 'cause she's just SO great!" Katy said as she crossed her arms.

"What's wrong with you?" Ryan asked, noting the sarcastic tone in Katy's voice.

"Nothings wrong with me! I just think that she needs to do more to prove herself than sing one song!" Katy said defensively.

"She made you CRY, Katy!" Ryan rebutted

"I DID NOT CRY, Ryan!.....I just had something in my eye...!"

Brendon had to make peace, "If we don't hurry up, were gonna be late for Thompson's class."

Katy settled down, "You're right. Heh, everyone knows I'M the best female vocalist in this school anyways." Katy began to walk off and Brendon and Ryan exchanged apprehensive glances.

"I hope Katy warms up to Stephani," Ryan said as Brendon and he made their way outside for lunch, "It could get bad....remember how much she hated Tracey in the beginning?"

"Yeah, but that was before she knew Tracey was a dancer and not a singer. It's like, if she thinks a girl is prettier and a better singer than her, she'll rip her to shreds, even if she's not" Brendon said, "Like Lilly Allen. Rember her?"

Ryan though for a moment,"Ummm, you mean that weird girl who showed up second semester of freshman year?"

"Yeah, her. Remember how much Katy hated her? Katy made that girl's life a living hell!"

Ryan chuckled, "Heh, like the time she found out Lilly was horrified of snakes, so she stuffed her locker with rubber ones?"

"Yeah! That girl was so traumatized, she transferred outta here the next day!"

"That was pretty bad....." Ryan nudged Brendon's arm, "Heeey, look who it is!" Brendon looked in the direction Ryan had nodded and saw Stephani standing awkwardly in the hall while people looked at her as they walked by. She spotted Brendon and smiled at him, but it seemed as soon as she had, the smile vanished and she once again began fidgeting with that same lock of hair.

"Aw, did you see that? She smiled at you! She digs you, man!" Ryan whispered, "We should invite her to lunch."

"Do you WANT Katy to kill her?"

"Relax. Katy's taking Tracey to the Subway across town for lunch. Besides, you and me are car-less and she got dropped off so we know she doesn't have a car."

"Yeah.....but I don't know......you don't think I'll come across as too strong do y-"

"Are you SERIOUS?" Ryan asked incredulously, "You're BRENDON URIE for God's sake! You could have any girl here you wanted!"

Brendon rolled his eyes, "Okay, let's go talk to her."

:O What happens NEXT!!! I'm really tryin' to get you guys to like Stephani. Tell me what you think about her so far! Is she good enough for Brendon? What about Katy? Will she rip her apart like Lilly Allen (lol)? Will Brendon have the courage to ask Stephani to lunch? Will Katy be able to eat an entire $5.00 foot-long by herself? *o* All these questions answered and more in chapter 3!!! :P QUESTIONZ????COMMENTZ????

Chapter 1

Brendon woke up for school early that day....it was the first day back from Winter Break and he was ready to see everyone he had neglected to speak to for the last two weeks. He rolled out of bed and ran quickly through the shower, then threw on a pair of black skinnys, a Cobra Starship T-shirt, and his new *Clandestine* hoodie Ryan had gotten him for Christmas. He snatched his I phone off his bedside table and found Ryan's number. He clicked "send text message" and typed inside of the little text box, "R u gna b able 2 pck me up 2day?" then hit send.

Ryan replied almost instantaneously, "Sry! I cnt! Grge tk my car awy agn! C if KT cn tk u. Spnc is tkn me."  

Brendon rolled his eyes and sent "ok" back to Ryan. He scrolled through his contacts and found "Katy P." He selected her name and hit "call". 

The phone range twice before Katy's voice came chiming from the other end,"Hey Bren! To what occasion do I owe this phone call?"  

Brendon smiled, "I need a ride. My car's in the shop from that fender bender I had on the corner of Fouth and Fraymont St., and Ryan got his car taken away again."

"Oh, I see....ummm....well, you know I got a new car over the break, right?"

"Yeah...?" Brendon said, a little confused as to why that would matter.

"Well, just as long as you know. I'll be there to pick you up in about ten minutes."

"Okay. See you then." Brendon hung up and grabbed his backpack of his computer chair. He left his room and walked down the hall to the living room and out the front door. He sat down at the top of the steps and waited for Katy.

Katy was one of Brendon's closest friends, next to Ryan. He had known her since 3rd grade and she had always been there for him. They had very similar past of extreme religion and, like himself, she had rebelled in every way imaginable against her parents' religious beliefs. She dyed her blond hair black, never went to church, worked at Hooters, and was openly bisexual. She respected her parents, but not their wishes and was hardly home due to partying or hanging out with Ryan, Spencer, and Brendon. Nothing sexual had ever happen between Brendon and Katy. He had always seen her as a sister.....a really hott sister.....but still a sister.

Brendon craned his neck as he looked down the street of suburbia for Katy. After about a minute or so of doing this, a pink VW Beetle rounded the corner to his street and began to slow down as it approached his house. Oh no, Katy! Brendon thought in a humored yet dishearten attitude, please don't tell me I have to ride to school in that thing!

The Beetle pulled to a stop in front of him and Katy yelled through the rolled-down passenger window, "Ya gettin in or what?"

Brendon grinned as he walked down the steps and got in the tiny car. He fastend his seatbelt and said, "Nice ride!"

"Thankya! This was bought with my Hooters tips! can you believe that? I'm never quiting that job!" Katy said as she began to drive down the street once more.

"Sounds fine to me!" Brendon joked.

"Only because I give you guys free food!"

"True."

"So how was winter break? Didja do anything fun?" Katy asked as she drove and applied lipstick at the same time.

"Not really. I saw Ryan a couple of times, but most of the time was spent at Aunt Becca's house in Oklahoma. It was freezing down there and so fucking boring!"

"Aww! I'm sorry bestie! I wish I coulda been there. We woulda had fun!"

"I know....so how was your break?"

A grin crept across Katy's face, "Weeeellll, I got a gig at this jazz club that totally digs my voice! I played there my first time on Tuesday and got a standing ovation! I swear, if I can keep this gig up, my music career could really take off!"

"Wow! That's amazing Katy! When is your next show?"

"This Friday....oh my gosh! Katy just got an idea!" Katy beamed from ear to ear as she continued, "You should come with me! Your voice is so beautiful, Brendon. They have a piano and everything!"

Brendon was quiet for a moment. He always loved to perform, but had kept his audience for solo performances limited to Katy, Ryan, Spencer, and his select choir class . He had never sung for anyone else, and the thought of that happening was very intimidating. "I'm not sure I could do that...." Brendon finally answered.

Katy rose her eyebrows, "Are you kidding me? You're the most amazing singer I've ever heard! You've got what it takes to make it! You just need to take that next step!"

That was when the conversation ended as Katy pulled into her parking spot in the parking lot of their highs school. The two got out and to his surprise, no one had even noticed that he had just gotten out of a bright pink slug-bug. He slung his backpack over his shoulder and walked with Katy over to the tree Ryan and Spencer were standing under, along with their friends Gerard Way, Frank Iero, Tracey Phillips, and Jared Leto.

"It's about time you two showed up!" Tracey said as she tossed her long, wavy black hair over her shoulder.

"I see your car isn't out of the shop yet?" asked Gerard with a smirk, "Nice ride by the way, Katy."

"Thanks! You know that it was bought completely with my Hooters ti-"

"Hey, who's that chick?" interrupted Frank, nodding toward a girl who had just stepped out of a Porche that had pulled up in front of the school. She wore her blond hair long and wavy and had on black skinny jeans, a zebra-striped tube top under a black cinch waist coat, and four-inch black high-heeled boots. She walked with an air of elegance and was definitely the center of attention as she walked up the steps and through the front doors of the school, which led straight into the main office. "She was hott!" exclaimed Jared once the girl had  left their sight, "I wonder who she is."

"I'm sure we'll find out soon enough." answered Frank, "Man, I'd tap that any day!"

"You guys are such man-hoes!" sighed Tracey, "I'm hungry....wanna walk to McDonands with me, Gerard?"

"Sure." Gerard was pretty much Tracey's bitch. He always did what ever she told him to do and did it happily. The two headed towards the McDonalds down the hill from the school, leaving the other's behind.

"Tracey's a smart girl." Katy said in admiration.

"What makes you say that?" Brendon asked.

"Because she saw her man eyein' someone else and she got him out of here quick to remind him who he's with!"

"Oh."

"Soooo....."

"So what?"

"What do you think about the new girl?" Brendon didn't expect this question,

"Well.........I don't know........I mean, I think she's pretty, but.........."

"But not all of us are man-hoes like Frank. Give us some credit, Katy." finished Ryan.

"I suppose." Katy replied as she rolled her eyes.

After about fifteen minutes, the bell rang and everyone flooded inside. Brendon walked pass the office, and as he did so, the girl from earlier walked out and began walking next to him. She held in her hand a piece of paper that looked like a class schedule. She turned to Brendon and asked, "Umm, could you tell me where the select choir class is?"

"I have that class this hour too," Brendon said, "Just follow me. It's in the auditorium." The two wound their way through the halls to a set of thick double doors that read, "Auditorium". The auditorium looked completely empty, yet voices could be heard coming from somewhere.

"Where's the class?" asked the girl.

"They're back there. Just follow me." Brendon led her through the rows of seats and down to the stage. She followed him as he walked up the stage steps and off to the side behind the curtains. There was a large room-like space with a piano that had several fold up chairs set up in semi-circle rows around it. Sitting at the piano was a short Asian woman named Mrs. Tippin who was the choir teacher.

"Ahh, it seems we have a new face!" said Mrs. Tippin in her clear, accent-free voice. The class turned around to get a look at the new student, including Gerard, Jared, and Katy, whose eyebrows rose when they saw she was with Brendon.

*o*RAWR! Good stuff??? Hmmm.....i kno sum of you don't like the fact that Brendon likes a chick.....but don't worry! I kno what tha peoples like and I promise you'll love this story! Just keep reading!!! Besides, I think I picked sum pretty cool chicks: Katy Perry, Tracey Phillips (the girl who played Helena in the My Chemical Romance video), and Lady Gaga. WARNING: This story gets pretty violent! *o* COMMENTS PLEASE???

This week I decided to focus on makeup tips that everyone can use no matter what look they are trying to pull off. This is a collection of my favorite tips and pete peeves that will help you build the foundation of a super fabulous look!

FACE:

I am a HUGE supporter of PRESSED mineral foundations/powders. They are all in one and they cover flaws really well. My favorite brand is Glo Minerals, its a bit of a splurge but its amazing!

Make sure that you always put a shadow base/concealer on your eyelid and under your eyes. Try and get a color that is a couple shades lighter then your skin tone and then even out the color with the mineral makeup powder (about 2 shades lighter then your skin) over the top.

One of my biggest pet peves is when people use lighter powder to highlight their foreheads, nose and under eyes. Tyra Banks is of course beautiful but she is guilty of doing this way too often. YUCK!

If you pick up any Vogue right now you will see that going tanning or wearing bronzer is OUT OF FASHION. Catherine Zeta-Jones was guilty of applying WAYYY too much bronzer (at least wear matte bronzer if you insist) in this picture. If you are fair skinned, embrace it.. Its very hot right now, and thank goodness because I'm practically albino!

On the other hand, make sure you dont look like you are washed out and dead like J-Lo in this picture. JEEEZE!

EYES:

All I am going to say is Kim Kardashian's eye makeup looks ridiculous (it matches her dress tho! ha). Most teenage girls do this exact same look with black eyeliner, and ITS TIME FOR GIRLS TO BE MORE CREATIVE WITH THEIR MAKEUP!

TIP: Apply black eyeliner just to the water lines of your eyes. Apply a black or brown eyeshadow under your eye as a blended liner, this adds more depth and looks more mature.

Most people dont realize that mascara needs to be replaced about once every 2 months or so. If it dries out it will look cakey and gross on your eyes. Dont pump your mascara brush in the tube, that will just get air trapped and dry it out faster.

TIP:If you are looking to get awesomely long and plump lashes without applying falsies, apply a few coats of mascara.

Rounded cat eyes are SO out this season so try something more edgy and angled like Katy Perry.

TIP: Use a tissue as an angled straight edge to get your eyeshadow straight and also to collect eyeshadow dust. I use this technique every day.

Hey everyone! After over 20 hours of flight time, we finally made it to the Philippines! We spent the afternoon of November 12th in a town just outside of Manila distributing goods for people affected by the recent typhoons in the Philippines. Already, this has become one of the most life-changing journeys we've ever been on.
