May 21, 2009Thursday 21st May 2009So, today has been pretty good actually. I woke up this morning, got ready, went to school; the usual. First lesson Maths revision, eugh. I've been proper stressing over the calculator paper, because I always find it so much harder than the non calculator (which I did on Monday). However, we did a few practice papers/questions and I found them alright so hopefully I won't do too badly haha. Then 2nd lesson was art, n'aww. Our last lesson of art ever, and because we've finished the course and it's already been moderated we could do whatever we wanted, so we chose to paint everything and take pictures and just have a laugh :)
We painted the bin (above) & I decorated my school jumper a little bit too (below)
I cannot actually believe that tomorrow is my last day of high school ever, 5 years have gone by so quickly! It's gonna be strange going from seeing people you're used to seeing everyday, to hardly ever seeing them at all, or in some cases not at all. My close friends Lauren&Jennie are going to a different college to me too, which sucks :(
Anyway, after period 2 I decided that I couldn't be bothered staying in school, so I came home :) Then a little bit later on Jennie came round and we just hung out and had a laugh, singing on my karaoke machine hahaa! I never use it so it was fun to have a little sing on it, no matter how awful I sounded! aha! After she went home I just came online for a little bit then after a while Ste (my boyfriend) came round and we just chillaxed and watched films with pizza whilst cuddling :):):) It's so unreal that we've almost been together for 2 years, it's gone so quickly but at the same time really slowly. Anyways, he just left so now I'm all lonely so I suggest that you go comment my pictures that I uploaded early and buzz them too :)
Eugh, I'm so bored & thirsty! Might go make myself a cup of teaaaaaa :D Goodnight buzznet XOXOXO

November 14, 2008Dio's 'Holy Diver' Leads to Assault at Karaoke Bar
Have you ever experienced a performer at your local karaoke bar, so terrible, that you wanted to just run up on stage and throw him off? A 24-year-old Wisconsin man recently took that fantasy too far and wound up in jail. Details.

June 19, 2008tremendous cream fuck a dollar and a dream
We came to the conclusion last night that Wednesday night in West Hollywood is karaoke night. Michelle and I made a stop off at Barney's for a drink - the place was dead and people were doing horrible karaoke. We drink down, we headed further down Santa Monica Blvd to Fiesta Cantina where the party was happening. We even ran into Happy Hour Hope and Crazy Amanda Bunkface Avila who was out celebrating her birthday. We sang along, danced with our new husbands and drank so much since it was 10pm Happy Hour (doubles for the price of singles).
![]() I will post pictures later.

May 17, 2008Saturday Night lounge lizards19-20 May 2008, Toca Me Bar, Singapore It was a last minute thing but it was an excellent way to spend the Saturday. I got a call from my gurlfriend Kaila who said that she wanted to hangout out in a cool bar that was not crowded. After some discussion we narrowed down the list to two bars: the OSO bar and TOCA ME. Maybe we ccould hit both bars in the same night? Kaila picked me up from my place and TOCA ME was our first stop. We liked the place so much that we didn't leave until they literally told us it was closing time. The Karaoke system was pretty cool. We belted out quite a few songs. I never knew that Kaila was such a fantastic singer.
Besides being drag queens, we ended up being mic-hogging queens as well. We were later joined by our beautiful and vivacious sista, Trisha. Looking at her shored up my courage to continue my journey in my evolution. She's gave me quite a lot of advise on HRT, the do's and don'ts which were all earned from a lifetime of experience. I was really pumped with someone as beautiful and experience as her to talk about my fears and aspirations of going fulltime.
A new foreign friend came by to join us for a drink. He was very very cute and I think Trisha liked him a lot. But he was soooo young. I felt like a cradle robber. So did anything happen? Har har har har har ....so nosy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Singapore ts/tv/cd group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sggurls

August 13, 2007Knocked out Coldplay
Who would have thought that karaoke could be dangerous?
Fists flew and so did a microphone when one man was attacked as he attempted to perform his version of Coldplay's "Yellow." According to Drowned In Sound, a female spectator launched intro a tirade as the song started, yelling "Oh, no, not that song!" and "I can't stand that f*cking song!". Once taken out of the bar, the woman attacked a bartender and head-butted an off-duty policewoman. By the end of the night she wound up in jail. No word on if anyone else covered "Yellow" that evening.

July 31, 2007Karaoke On The Rocks.
All I have to say about the Karaoke @ Angels and Kings last night is "HAHAHAHAHA"
Seriously, it was possibly the funniest thing ever in life. If you weren't there, you missed out on all the fun! Shame, shame. I don't think they even kept score seeing as how they never announced the winner! Oh well, I think Patrick should have won since he did sing the most songs out of everyone! Lol. I believe his final tally was 4 ? If anyone remembers what songs he did, help me out! Umm...that one Queen song that Vanilla Ice stole, Bobby Brown ... I Believe I Can Fly... and then another song with those 3 guys. I forget. Anywho, no one in the karaoke contest was actually good but my Lord, were they funnnnnnny! Ha. Oh wait, there was one good team. Those girls that did * Nsync's smash hit 'Bye Bye Bye' were REALLY good! Wow. I wonder whaaaaat could have prompted them to do an Nsync song? Hahaha. Anywho, I don't go to AK-47 too often so if I do go, expect a blog about it! Ha. ;) Oh and maybe some pictures: ![]() ![]() Don't Ask. HA. I wish this one wasnt blurry because it was HILARIOUS...in real life. Sorry. ![]() The new Fall Out Boy line-up. ![]() ![]() His pants were apparently all the rage! ![]() ![]() Love, Erica.

June 10, 2007He laughed and told me the world was ending.Friends can be really disappointing. I really hope I meet real people at my new school. Real people made out of fake parts. I can dream.
Before I write anymore I wanna say, Nars lipstick is like, the fucking best. It stays on forever. Idc if I sound like a spokesmodel, it's amazing.
Like I was saying, people never feel the same way about something in a relationship. It's sad but true and I need to get the fuck over myself. I can't deal with drama unless I'm the center of attention. There, I said it. On a lighter note... A couple nights ago, some friends called and said they were going out and they wanted me to come with them, so I said okay and put on some Urban Decay xxx shine, bondage pants, a Chanel charm bracelet, and a cute top. I got picked up at like 10 and by 10:30 we were at some country fucking karaoke bar. All these sun burnt drunk people kept looking at me. It was so awkward. I never want to hear Livin' La Vida Loca again.

April 9, 2007Chronicles of an Unemployed Awesome Part One
Okay, so honestly, outside of an extremely well balanced week of
partying and finding finances for the partying, I have really
done/accomplished very little since becoming unemployed. It's not that
I'm totally unhappy about my complete lack of accomplishments...it's
just I've kind of surprised myself. I am normally so overloaded and
overwhelmed with stuff to do and finish and start up and help out with
that I end up accidentally overbooked. This past week I pretty much
made a conscious decision to agree to do very little/almost nothing.
And I didn't even have to call Rina Bang first to discuss the merits of
participating in various shifts/events/plans...Rina, for those who
don't know, is my Overbookers Anonymous sponsor. I call her to make
sure that I don't agree to help out with or do all sorts of things that
I don't need to or really shouldn't.
Yes, I have no job, so it probably seems quite Caligulesque of me to be out until all hours of the night at not-so-hotspots with the other Awesomes littered around some of the T-dots better venues like diamonds in a sea of bedazzled asphalt, but I'm afraid that was the plan. Since leaving my job at Bodog (and leaving is the polite word, I suppose), I have really experienced no feelings of regret regarding my 'decision'...again, not quite MY words, but yeah. Instead of hopping right into job hunting, I have decided to apply for EI and treat this as an in city vacation while I...collect my thoughts. Why the fuck not. And short of actually being in NOLA, it has been 100 percent debaucherous. And um, NOLA will come, but you can't leave the country while on EI...a little bird told me that, from first hand experience courtesy of a letter from the government of Canada. Ah, Walk Like An Egyptian featuring Andrew Awesome and Richelle Forsey live from the Gladstone. Most inspired karaoke I've ever been a part of. It all happened so quickly. One minute, we were at the Beaver, next, onstage at Gladstone, me pulling out the hieroglyphic inspired dance moves to accompany channelling the essence of Susanna Hoffs while Richelle loudly dropped her mike in favour of an off the cuff photo shoot...cut to shot of too many peeps crowded into a dark bathroom stall...cut to last call shots followed by a taxi dance to a new location..drinking and dancing in apartments I don't know how I got to at parties I didn't know were even happening hosted by people I may never meet again. Not bad. But this week I am going to start the process of finding a new gig. I have, I admit, already applied at a few places during the groggy and grey morning hours of last weeks shenanigans, but haven't pursued anything very seriously at all. Anyone who knows me will also be aware that it is quite unusual for me to fall into a totally lazy pattern at any point. I haven't even blogged. I actually feel uncomfortable and depressed when I am up to absolutely nothing. I was thinking about this today when I saw a kid walking down the street and playing Nintendo DS at the same time. Don't you want to see the world around you? Don't you want to do anything? Video games, cell phone movies, hours long msn sessions...they produce NOTHING. I hate thinking of all the time that people waste not being a part of their world. I mean, who ever thought 'Gee, I wish there was a movie on my cell phone that I wanted to see right now?'. YUCK. Kind of a wake up call. So this week, back to work...in a manner of speaking. If I could figure out how to get Cubase to recognize that my baby Korg Micro-X is plugged in, I would be totally fucking elated. I'll keep you posted.
