Love Child Chapter Five: Unexpected Expectings

Love Child

Chapter Five

Unexpected Expectings

I was certain that six thirty was ungodly, but I never expected the ungodly hour in which Tom and I were woken up. I of course was woken up at five in the morning as Tom got an extra thirty minutes. I glanced out of the window, it was still dark out, the sunset was happening over to the left as Dunja pulled into the children's home. I glanced over to Tom who was still asleep. He wanted to look rested when he got there, and rested was certainly not the look he had going for him. Despite Dunja's lecture before we went to bed last night, we still wore our own clothes, I looked like deaths nephew and Tom looked like the German K-Fed.

"I am worried about what they'll think when they see you two." She said

" We aren't, we are confident that we can charm anyone." I said looking at the girls looking at us from the window. The majority of people who worked here, we younger woman, and our fans. Except a few, I am certain that they fought each other over who would be working this morning. Dunja pushed the door open and we followed her in.

"Good Morning, I am Sonja, please take a seat, I will speak with the two males momentarily, if I could have a word with you, Dunja, right in here." She said. We took a seat in the waiting room, looking at each other. Tom looked behind us, and through a window were a bunch of kids running around a small nursery.

"Do you see her?" I whispered

"No, but look at the little boy in the green overalls." He said. I glanced over, and the was flipping us off. I stuck my tongue out as Tom waved at him. He turned over pulling his short down, I couldn't believe this little boy actually had the nerve to moon us. I started to laugh with Tom, when we heard someone clearing their throat, it was Dunja.

"Sonja would like to talk with you first Bill." She said, I stood up taking my time to walk into the room, my hair was worn down, and flat ironed, I looked pretty. She motioned me to have a seat, as I looked around her office, thousands of pictures drawn by children.

"Bill is that your full name or is it William?" She asked

"No it's just Bill, I don't have a middle name either." I said

"Bill I would like to ask you a few questions about Tom's lifestyle, but first what is your relationship to him?" She asked, suggesting that we may have been in that kind of relationship.

"He is my brother, my identical twin brother." I said, as she jotted it down.

"Mhm, so how about the way he lives, does Tom keep a healthy clean lifestyle?" She asked

"Tom is your average person, he can get a little sloppy but he is human, and he cares very much about learning from his mistakes and cleaning up after himself." I said

"Were you there the night at the gas station?" She asked

"No." I replied

"So you actually have no idea what happened that night?" She said as if I were just making up stuff.

"You're wrong about that, mam' my brother and I have a strong connection he would never lie to me, the events that lead up to that night would explain his re-actions." I said

"So you're telling me that if given the right reasons, he will act out?" She said changing my words around, I was already hating this woman.

"No, in now way did I say that it was ok, and in no way does he think or even though that it was ok, but with that being said, the situation involving those four females prior to this, is what set him off." I said sounding annoyed

"What situations?" She asked, I know she was truly digging for information at this point, that this had nothing to do with whether or not Tom was a perfect match for her father, but to get information out of us, to give to the press. She was obviously not a fan of Tom, and this annoyed me.

"What does the situation which happened almost a whole year ago have to do with whether my brother is capable of raising a child, anyone in their right minds could raise a child, you have thirteen-year-old mother's for Christ's sake." I said

"We have to know every possible situation that may happen while the child is in his care, we ask these questions to figure out the safety rate." She said

"I can understand that, but with this slight agreement, I will stick with the situation was handled, and is in the past." I said

"How will we be able to decipher her safety?" She asked

"Well she is easily safer with us than she was with her mother, I mean you all let her take the baby home without so much as even a background check, which I think should have been a must, you're questioning us." I said

"Look, she didn't have her life plastered over millions of internet sites, I have read things about him and even you that I don't approve of, Dammit, I don't want to put this child back into the environment we took her out of." She said

"Is this what this is about, you read articles and you believe them, look, my brother is just as stable as anyone to care for this baby, in fact there isn't anyone better." I said. It was silent, and she was upset. She tried to convince me for a little bit that this was legit, until finally she burst into tears.

"I am going to get fired." She said opening her desk drawer, she pulled out a tape recorder, that was on. She placed it on the table and looked at me.

"I took this as a second job, I have been working for a small town magazine and they have been trying to make it big, they wanted more on Tom's fight, and more on his child, I am sorry." She said

"You should be, this is just pathetic what have you told about Willow?" I asked

"We sold the private records to a few magazines, just for the money, it was wrong but we are in a crisis." She cried

"You're lucky I don't sue your company, and put them out of business, so this whole thing with met brother was a set-up to get gossip?" I asked staring at her through hate filled eyes.

"No, I was supposed to be asking legit questions." She said

"You want to keep you're job, then I suggest that you give my brother his kid and let us go home." I said

" I still have to speak with your brother?" She said confussed

"Not anymore, unless you want me to bring this," I said grabbing the tape recorder, " To my lawyer." She shook her head, then stood up. She tried to shake my hand but I refused her, then turned and opened the door. She glared at me, then looked at Dunja and Tom, as Tom stood up.

"It's my turn?" He said

"No, um, after speaking with your brother, I feel like I don't need to talk to you, I think you're fit and would like you to please follow me." She said

Tom's P.O.V

I looked at Bill then to Dunja, my heart started to race as we followed her down a hallway, She came to the room that read nursery, and then she paused, opening the door. The room was lit up by an open window, a woman was sitting in a rocking chair holding onto a small child. The little girl was asleep, he ash blonde hair was curled and her mouth was partially opened. This room held a small crib, changing station and a box full of toys.

"Are you dad?" The woman kindly said, I hadn't been called anything but Tom, so to hear it for the first time was surprising.

"Yes, I am." I said stepping forward.

"She just fell asleep, she must have known you were coming for her, she was very anxious last night." The woman whispered. I walked closer, studying the small child, she was beautiful, the most beautiful creature I had ever laid eyes on. Even cuter than me, which was usually hard for me to admit. The woman stood up, placing her into my arms, I was scared at first, but within a few seconds the small child had managed to wrap her arms around my neck and nuzzle against me.

"I really admire what you're doing, Mr. Kaulitz, I'm a huge fan, and despite what the other have said, I really feel that this was a great choice, you're going to be a wonderful father, and it will show you in a different light." She said smiling, I wasn't sure whether it was a compliment or not, but I smiled, I was happy to hear something good from someone. The woman carried out her car seat, and the little bit of toys she had, once we were settled into the car it was time for a long flight, she was the best baby ever, even when she woke up in the car, she didn't cry, instead she was smiling at us, playing peek-a-boo with Bill.

She took very well to Gustav and Georg too, particularly Gustav, which may have been the first girl to pick him over Bill. She loved us already even managing to call all of us bumble bee, in which we bestoyed that same name to her. She slept on the flight, and Dunja feed her a bottle when it was time, as we landed in Germany, I took a deep breath, my biggest fear was for people to hound my child like they do me, and now I was going to face the press, trying to get the first pictures, look out Germany, Tom Kaulitz is taking on a new lifestyle.
