Happy Birthday John Prine. The first song I ever heard by John Prine was Illegal Smile, it was the theme song of a failed sitcom from sometime between 1972 and 1974. I think it was called the Texas Wheelers, and it starred Gary Busey, Mark Hamill, and one of my all time favorite character actors Jack Elam as the no-account father.

Yeah, it was some kind of modern day western starring Jack Lord before Hawaii 5-0 as a cow hand or rodeo rider.

Glad to see people are still listening to John Prine.

I'm partial to "Mexican Home".

That show sounds rad.
